OCC Challenge Follow your heart, IC164 Welcome Home

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

It's time for another fun OCC Challenge!!! Swing by the OCC blog to find out *who* our Guest is!?! Guess what - Jennifer also has an awesome *prize* to give away!!!

Recently a very dear friend of ours got engaged!!! Today's Sketch helped me to finally create a card for the special occasion!!! I hope my friend is gonna like it???

If you are like me....and you got sucked into the *Rub-Ons must have* and now you are stuck with them....I have an idea on how to use them!!!

On my card I used the flourishes from the *Cherishes Memories* and the sentiment from the *Eastern Elegance* Rub-Ons. The DP is - believe it or not - from the past SU Halloween Collection *Ghostly Greetings*!!! The Stamp Set is one of my fav's from SU *Boho Backgrounds*. If you would like to see other cards I made with this fun Set - click here.

Once I added the DP to my card I started to score two lines on each side. Next I added the Rub-ons. I inked four medallions in Versamark and embossed them with Black EP. The two top medallions were punched out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch and the bottom ones with the
1 3/4" Circle Punch. Before I raised all four medallions with Stampin Dimensionals I added the large Silver Eyelets and the large clear Rhinestones. To dress it up a bit more I added a Black Satin Ribbon from *Stamper's Dream*!!!

Hope you will have a chance to play along??? If you need more inspiration swing by every ones blog - Amy Sheffer, Cindy Haffner, Dawn Easton, Denise Marzec, Jennifer Meyer, Julee Tilman, Laurie Schmidlin, Lynda Benden, Jackie Pedro and Kim Teasdale.

*******************************

I haven't had a chance to play in the Inspiration Challenge over on SCS.....and I so love to play along!!!

Not this time....while everyone was already sleeping in my house...I got crafty - LOL!!!

This time Stef inspired us with some beautiful Calenders for the IC164.

I have chosen this Calender. I don't have a Barn image...but the *welcoming feel* I sensed from this image inspired me to use this beautiful Set called *Welcome Home* from *There She Goes*.

Did you know that Jessica designs her own Stamps??? I think she does a wonderful job and I have so much fun crafting with them!!!

This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". The colors of the Calender inspired me as well... this is how I ended up using the following - Whisper White, Real Red and Chocolate Chip CS. I added a Copper Eyelet on tied it off with the Taffeta Chocolate Chip Ribbon.

The sentiment and the image were inked in Memento *Rich Cocoa* and then colored with Copic Markers - R29 Lipstick Red and YG91 Putty as well as Prisma Markers - PM-197 Green Tea, PM-132 Jasmine. The door frame was colored with the SU Creamy Caramel Marker.

Hope you like my take on the IC and the OCC Sketch??? Have a wonderful weekend!!! ~TFL~

BIC33, OCCC Happy Holidays and CC194, WSC67 Love Birds

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I was in the middle of posting my CC194 card when my computer crashed - YIKES!!!

I have some news to share....I'll be a Guest Designer for *Treehouse Stamps* in Dec/Jan!!!
I'm so excited to get a chance to play with Ashley Bowen's Stamps!!!

Treehouse Stamps is celebrating it's
1. Anniversary starting December 01st and Ashley will have some fun stuff going on - so make sure you'll check her blog!!!

I used Beate's WSC67 for the layout. The Set I'm using is actually a Sneak Peek for the December Release and it's called *Owlentine*. I colored the owls with Prisma and Copic Marker - Sienna Brown, Dark Brown, Green Tea and Lipstick Red. I also used the Going Gray Marker from SU. I added some Basic Black CS to make the image pop a bit more...Next I added some Tiny Silver Brads and the Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon. The Really Rust CS was embossed with the CB folder *Bubbles*.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Next is my card for the *Be Inspired* Challenge #33.

This time Beate has chosen this cozy outdoor living space by Martha Stewart. It reminds me a lot of Germany.... - we have beautiful settings like that around the area I grew up!!! I always loved the Summer time in Germany...fun Beer Gardens, good food and the best beer - LOL!!! I think I'm getting home sick now...:(
I have not been to Germany in 3 years!!! It gets harder and harder once the kids go to school and all the activities after school....Sorry - didn't try to get all sad now - LOL!!!

Anyway - here is what inspired me about this picture - there are some hanging light right above the table - can you see them??? I thought it would be fun to translate them into hanging ornaments for my Christmas card.

For the layout of my card I used the OCC Sketch from this past weekend. The flowers from the picture were my color inspiration....just in case you wondered where the blue is coming from - LOL!!! The CS I chose are - Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red and Whisper White. I embossed the Baja Breeze CS with the CB folder *Snowflakes*. Next I stamped the Ornaments from the retired *Ornamassortment* Set with Black Stazon and colored them with Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red Ink using a Blender Pen!!! Next I added some Crystal Effects and dried it with the Heating Tool. Once I knew it was completely dry I added the punched out Martha Stewart Branches on top. I used River Rock, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive CS for them. Next I dressed the card up with the new Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon.

The sentiment is from the *Many Merry Messages* and it was also inked in Black Stazon. This whole panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Well - I hope you like my take in the picture??? ~TFL~

Hope we have inspired you to play along??? Make sure to check out all the other ladies from Beate's Design Team - Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and

BIC32 Wild About You, CC193 Serene Spring

Happy Tuesday again!!!

Here is a quick card I made for the CC193 - Real Red, Kraft and Basic Black - this morning.

I used *Serene Spring* and colored it with some Copic and Prisma Markers.

The CB folder is from the *Leafy Branch* and I added some Silver Brads...voila!!!

Now it's time for another fun *Be Inspired* Challenge by Beate!!!

This photo just screams for a *children's* card!!!

The first idea that came to mind was my all time favorite *Wild About You* Set!!!

I used Tangerine Tango, Bashful Blue and Whisper White CS for my card. I started out by scoring my Tangerine Tango CS. Then I punched out a scallop row of Bashful Blue and attached it on the right.

Next I inked the elephant in Bashful Blue. The flower was inked in Tangerine Tango and I used an Old Olive Marker for the stem. I layered this onto Bashful Blue CS and raised it with Stampin Dimensionals. I also added a bit of Dazzling Diamond Glitter in the center of the flower and some Silver Brads on the bottom of the TT panel. The sentiment was inked in Old Olive and I pierced right below it.

Hope you like my simple take on the Inspiration Piece??? Before you go please check out all the other ladies for their samples on the room - Beate Johns, Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.

Have a good one and play along!!! ~TFL~

BIC31 Christmas Wishes and CC192 Psalm 23

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! I have two cards for you today!!! My first one is for the CC192 using Pacific Point, Certainly Celery, Basic Gray. Some cool colors!!!

I used the beautiful *Psalm 23* Set from *Our Daily Bread Designs*.

There is really not too much about this card other then I embossed the right hand Certainly Celery Panel with the *Just my Type* CB folder. Next I added some Silver Brads on the bottom and the Ribbon is from Michael's.

************************************
Next is my card for Beate's *Be Inspired*
Challenge #31
.
It is this cute little *birdie mobile*.

I actually planned on making a *baby*card, but then I was looking thru my stash of *birdie* stamps and it's sad to say that I don't have any at all......but then I realized I have one Set I have not used at all.....

Okay - so the Inspiration Piece took me into a whole different direction.....I opted for this gorgeous Set from *Little Paper Shop*!!!

Remember I missed the whole September Release due to Customs holding on to my Stamp Set's??? Well, today I finally have a chance to show off two of the gorgeous Set's Julia had featured back then.

The Set's are called *Christmas Wishes* and *Snowflakes*. For this card I used the oh so fab retired *Purely Pomegranate*and Whisper White. The DP is from the retired *Holiday Harmony*. I inked the *dove* with Versamark and then embossed it with Silver EP. Next I layered it onto Whisper White and then Purely Pomegranate. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals. I also added some Silver Brads to the panel. Before I layered the image to the base I inked the sentiment in Versamark and also embossed it. To finish it all off I added the Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon!!!

I hope you like my card??? ~TFL~

If you like - play along.....all the deeds are on Beate's blog and don't forget to check out all the other ladies - Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.

BIC30 & WSC64 *For You*

Happy Tuesday again!!!! I still can't believe it's Tuesday again....

Today Beate is featuring this fun purse called *Bella Bag*(you can actually buy it right here) for the *BIC30*.
When I saw the purse I knew I wanted to use my poor neglected *Boho Backgrounds* Set!!!

I know that the purse color is more of a *Turquoise* - unfortunately I didn't have enough *Tempting Turquoise* CS to include in my project!!! That's why I had to replace it with *Bashful Blue....Hope you don't mind?!?

Well - here is my take on the purse.......
These are the colors I have chosen -
Kraft, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Old Olive and Whisper White.

For the base of the card and bag I used Textured Whisper White CS. The bottom scalloped stripe on the bag is from the Old Olive Prints
DP.

For my card I chose Beate's WSC64. I thought the Sketch was perfect to show off the *Boho Backgrounds* Medallion.

For the bag I followed the instructions from Diana Gibbs. If you have not made one of these cute little bags - you should definitely give it a try!!!!
The only thing that I did differently is I extended my bag to a 7" x 11" height. Diana has hers shown at 5 1/2" x 11". I guess you can adjust it to any height you need for your project.....
All the *Medallions* were inked in Versamark and then embossed with Basic Black EP. I stamped and embossed the *Medallions* double and then punched out the second ones with the 1 3/8"Circle Punch. Then I raised them with Stampin Dimensionals and placed a Silver Eyelet (Memory Keepers) and a Blue Rhinestone Brad in the center. Next I layered the whole image onto So Saffron and Old Olive CS. This panel was also raised with Stampin Dimensionals.
Hope you like my little creations and you will find some time to play along???Don't forget to check the rest of Beate's talented ladies Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.
Have a great day ~TFL~

BIC29 Thank You and Joy to the World Sneak Peek

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

WOW - isn't this a gorgeous Bedroom Beate has chosen for today's BIC29???

It is so bright and the colors are soooo pretty!!! Wouldn't mind waking up in this room every morning - LOL!!!

Love all the different textures too - the Seagrass Sleigh Bed is totally up my alley!!!

One day - when my girls are all grown up and won't destroy everything....I might buy one - LOL!!!

Here is my take on the room.........

I took my inspiration from the gorgeous colors of the room - I used Whisper White, Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point and Basic Black.

I embossed the Kraft CS with the *Argyle* CB folder and tore it on top and side. I stamped the image from the *Eastern Blooms* in Kiwi Kiss. I repeated stamping the same image with Pacific Point and Pink Pirouette on a separate CS. Next I cut some of the flowers out and layered them randomly on top of my first stamped image. I actually found this idea in the new Catalog on page 9. Isn't it pretty???

The sentiment is from the *All Holidays* Set and I stamped it in Basic Black plus I pierced right below it. The image was layered onto Basic Black CS and I distressed around the edges. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

At the end I added some *Black Staples* from Making Memories, some small Silver Brads (Michaels) and the Pacific Point Ribbon.

Here is a *Sneak Peek* from the brand new Set *Joy to the World* from *Our Daily Bread Designs* - this Set and two other Set's will be available November, 1st - isn't this a beautiful nativity image???

I used the same color theme from the BIC29 on this card - Whisper White, Kraft, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point and Basic Black.

The layout is from Jen del Muro's SFYTT Sketch this past Saturday.

The panel on the left side was pierced with a brand new template that will be available at *OBDB*!!! The design I used is called *Marianne*. More details about this and other templates can be found on the ODBD site starting November!!!

Don't worry - I'll show off the other two Set's thru out this week!!!

Hope you will have a chance to play along???

BIC28 Frosty

Happy Tuesday - WOW - another week has gone by so fast......

Today Beate is featuring this very contemporary looking room....hmmmm not sure if I would like to live there - LOL??? But I thought it was a fabulous inspiration piece.....which lead me to create my card below.

I told you - that I'll be working on some more *Christmas* cards....

I found a Set that I always loved *Frosty* - isn't he awesome??? The fun part is that you can color him anyway you like....
I stamped the fun little guy in Basic Black and colored him with a Copic Marker (R29 Lipstick Red). Next I distressed the the edges of the stamped image. Then I dressed *Frosty* up with some piercing around the layered White CS, Black Gingham Ribbon, medium Silver Brads on the outside corners, some regular Silver Brads next to the sentiment - which is from the *Fundamental Phrases* Set - and at last I've added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter on his hat, scarf and on the bottom of the image - voila the card is done!!!
Hope you like it???
Please stop by all the other wonderful ladies that designed for Beate's *BIC*.

Have fun playing along!!! ~TFL~

BIC27 Snowfall

Happy Tuesday!!! It's time for Beate's *Be Inspired* Challenge!!!

Isn't this a pretty scarf??? I really like the beautiful design and colors.

I'm in desperate need of some *Christmas* cards....My friend Mary Fish and I have a little *Challenge* of our own going...we both have to make at least 50 Christmas cards by December, 1st. That way we both have some cards to show off for the holidays - LOL!!! So over the next couple of weeks I'll show you my different *Christmas* designs.
Anyway - today I have made a card that was mainly inspired by the colors of the scarf. I used Pink Pirouette, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Grey and Whisper White CS.

I used the retired SU *Snowfall* Set and the matching Jumbo Stampin' Wheel *Bold Snowflakes* that I unraveled...(another fab idea from my friend Mary Fish). I actually trimmed the individual *Snowflakes* from the Wheel and adhered them to *EZ Mount* - then I stamped them randomly on the Pink Pirouette CS with the same color Ink. Next I embossed the larger Snowflake with Silver EP and distressed the edges. Then I layered the image onto Purely Pomegranate. Before I've layered this panel onto Basic Grey I added a Silver Brad to the right hand bottom corner. I also distressed the edges of the Basic Grey CS. Next I figured out where my Taffeta Basic Grey Ribbon would look best and added the Silver Jumbo Eyelet with the Ribbon. To finish it up I stamped the sentiment in Basic Grey. Voila!!!
Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

BIC26 Forever Friends and A Dream

Happy Tuesday you all!!!

Isn't this one fabulous looking living room Beate has chosen???

Even though it is gorgeous I had a hard time to get inspired.....I think I'm losing my Mojo....!!!

I started making my first card, but wasn't really excited about it.....so I made another card.

I took two different approaches and I'm still not sure which one I like....take a look for yourself!!!

My first card took me into a totally different direction..... - I think it came out to elegant for the cosy Inspiration Piece??? What do you think???

I used the blue pillows as my inspiration. I don't use *blue* a lot so I was very limited on what I could create. I think this was my last sheet from the Night of Navy CS....I had to come up with something simple....

The image is from the newly released *A Dream* Set from *Little Paper Shop* and since I'm behind in showing it off - I thought it would look really great in the center of my card!!!

To dress it up a bit I added some Halfback Pearls and a Hat Pin!!! The Satin Ribbon is also Navy and I bought it at Walmart. Hope you like it???
Here is my second approach on the BIC.....

This time I used the sandy/krafty color looking pillow as my inspiration.

My base card is Kraft CS and I used the gorgeous new SU Set *Beautiful Borders* (pg.132).

The image was inked in Night of Navy. I left enough space on each side so I could pierce. Next I distressed the Whisper White and Night of Navy CS. Below I added another Whisper White CS and tore the bottom before I layered the rest of the panel.

Then I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and added some Clear Rhinestones. All items are SU!!!

Hope you like it??? If you have time - play along!!!

Make sure to check out Beate, Charmaine, Danielle, Dawn, Jennifer and Susan!!! ~TFL~

BIC25 Happy Birthday & MOJO55 Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday!!! Beate has chosen this beautiful Canvas as the Inspiration Piece today!!! Isn't it pretty???

While the first card (below) was posted I started working on another idea - I need a couple of Birthday cards and I thought I'd continue with the same Set and color combo.

This time I'm using Julee Tilman's MOJO55 Sketch.

Since I'm using *Kraft* CS on both of my cards I'll submit these in Julee's VVPP06 Challenge too.....(today is the last day to enter - hurry!!!)

Next is my BIC card!!! Keep going....

I must admit I wasn't so sure about the colors on the Canvas first, but once I took a closer look I was getting excited.....Here is my interpretation of the Canvas - Baja Breeze, Groovy Guava, Close to Cocoa, Kraft, Bravo Burgundy and Whisper White.

Here is what I have done - I used the gorgeous *Eastern Blooms* SU Set and inked it up with Groovy Guava first. Then I took a *Q-Tip* and erased the Groovy Guava off the stem. Next I took a Close to Cocoa Marker and traced the stem. Then I used the fine tip from the Bravo Burgundy Marker and slightly tipped the outside of the flowers (I didn't want to blend the Groovy Guava and Bravo Burgundy to much). Plus I wanted to achieve the same kind of look as the flowers on the Canvas.

After stamping the image I used the new SU *Floral Frenzy* Brass Template and *Dry Embossed* around the flowers. Click on the picture to see the embossing :)
Anyway - after the embossing I inked the *Happy Birthday* sentiment from the *A Little Birthday Cheer* Set in Close to Cocoa and pierced right below it. Then I added the Bravo Burgundy Grosgrain Ribbon and the small Silver Pearls.

Next I have adhered the Whisper White, Baja Breeze and Bravo Burgundy CS together and placed the image in the center. I used the *Faux Stitching* technique right around the raised image using the Bravo Burgundy Marker. Once I was finished I raised this panel again onto the Kraft CS base.

Hope you like it and we have inspired you to play along???

CC185 Footprints and BIC24 Inspired by Nature

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I think Tuesday is my favorite kinda day....We have Beate's *Be Inspired* Challenge and the Color Combo Challenge - I don't think it can get any better??!!??

Today's CC#185 - is simply beautiful - Very Vanilla, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss.

For this card I have used my gorgeous new soon to be released (October 1st!!!) *Our Daily Bread Designs* Set called *Footprints in the Sand* - did I mention I love, love, love Kelly Hollands Scripture Stamps and I'm so grateful that she has asked me to be a Guest Designer in October and November!!! (click on the picture to see a detailed view)

Here is the next *Be Inspired* Challenge #24 from Beate!!! This time Beate has chosen this *Glassware*. Simply beautiful and great colors!!!

I took these wonderful colors from the glasses as inspiration for my card . I used Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White for my card base.

My card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".

I was finally able to use my new *Inspired by Nature* Set - YEAHHHH!!! I stamped the *grass* image with Kiwi Kiss first and then I've inked my *flower* image with Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip Ink. Next I trimmed the whole image down to my liking and layered it onto Tangerine Tango CS.

Next I added some Medium Copper Brads in each corner and then I raised this panel with Stamp Dimensionals before I layered it onto a Baja Breeze CS. Next I started piercing right around the sides and added Stampin Dimensionals again before I've layered it onto Chocolate Chip CS. The CC CS was adhered to the Whisper White card base. At last I added the Chocolate Chip Poly-Twill Ribbon.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

CC184, BIC23 Happiness Always and Thanks

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! I had to sneak in today's CC184 - Basic Gray, Riding Hood Red and Always Artichoke -with my BIC cards....hope you don't mind?!?

Wasn't sure how it would turn out....the Color Combo Emily has choosen are all darker colors, but with some White CS it turned out really nice.

All items are from SU except the Pewter Brads (Making Memories Value Pack).

Hope you like it???

Today Beate has chosen this beautiful *Living Room* - lots of inspiring images to choose from.
I was inspired by the *Love seat* . As soon as I saw the pattern I knew I would use the striped DP from the new *Urban Garden* Collection. The pillow in the Inspiration Photo matches the *Kiwi Kiss* color and I've added that to my card as well.

Actually I've made two cards today....I wasn't too crazy about the card I have made down below, but what the heck I thought I'd show it to you anyways....LOL!!!

Anyway - here is some info about my first card.....If you have seen the OCC Challenge this past Saturday - you already know that Amy Sheffer has choosen this fabulous Sketch and I had to use it again!!!

I've inked up my *Live Your Dream* Set. The flowers were inked in Kiwi Kiss, Not Quite Navy and Baja Breeze. The added flower is from the new SU *Flower* Design Brads and I've topped it with a light blue Gemstones from Hero Arts plus the three larger Gemstones on the left side.

This next card was stamped with the retired Sell-A-Bration *Happy Harmony* Set.

If tried to incorporate the colors from the DP onto the flowers. I've inked them in Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Going Gray and Kiwi Kiss.

To dress up the card - I've added the new Kiwi Kiss Ribbon and some Jumbo Pewter Eyelets plus Brads.

Hope we have inspired you to play along and please stop by all the super talented ladies from Beate's team!!!
Have a great day and ~TFL~!!!

BIC22 Just Because

Hello everyone!!!

Today's BIC22 is based on a tray from Martha Stewart filled with lots of glasses - soooo pretty!!!
The inspiration I took from this photo are the colors, the flowers/leaves. I thought it would match my new *Urban Garden* DP, my new Hostess Level I Set's *Organic Grace*. For the sentiment I have used another Hostess Level I Set *Best Yet*.

I inked the Silhouette Stamp with Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip. Matted it on to a Chocolate Chip CS and raised it with Stampin Dimensionals. The Brown Satin Ribbon is from Walmart. I've completed it with some *Tiny* Copper Brads next to the sentiment.

Hope you'll find time to play along and please don't forget to swing by all the other DT Members.

Have a great day!!! ~TFL~

BIC21 Bloom and CC182 Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I'm always looking forward to this day, because of the BIC and the CC.

Today's CC182 - is to create a *Monochromatic* card. I already had an image that I've colored with a light purple *Watercolor Pencil* and blended it with the Delta Blending and Shading Solution for the WT181.

The main image is from *Innovative Stamp Creations* Beautiful Flower Set and the only thing I have added was the Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

Next I have stamped the sentiment from the *It's Your Birthday* Set with Orchid Opulence and added the beautiful purple 5/8" Ribbon from PTI. Voila!!!

*********************************************

Next I've created a card for the BIC#21.

Beate has chosen this beautiful Console Table from *Pottery Barn*.
I really like the colors and ran with that idea.
I've used Whisper White, So Saffron, Basic Black Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango.

I wish I would have had a *tulip* stamp....but I've settled for the *Blooming Beautiful* Set - I really love this Set.

For the layout I used Jen del Muro's Sketch.

My card measures 5" x 5". I started out with Whisper White and layered it according to the Sketch. The DP is from the Tangerine Tango Prints Pack. I matted the panels with Basic Black. The top panel was cut out with a circle Nestabilitie and embossed with the *Dotted* CB folder. Plus I have raised them with Stampin Dimensionals.

The main image was colored with some Prisma Markers and Copic Markers. Of course I had to add some mini Pearls to make the flowers look pretty....The sentiment was inked in Basic Black and I've pierced right below it. Hope you like it???
Please stop by the rest of Beate's Team and see every ones take on the BIC.....
Hope we have inspired you to play along?!? ~TFL~

house - no wonder - LOL!!!

Today's *Inspiration Piece* for the BIC20 is this pretty framed Poppy Picture.

I definitely love the colors -it's actually one of my favorite color combos and I ran with that idea.....

I have been wanting to show off my new SU Stamp Set's as well, so today is the day were I've inked up my gorgeous new *Upsy Daisy* Set.

My card measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". The base of my card is Whisper White and I have layered it with Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White. After I have colored the main image with Real Red and Old Olive Markers I have layered it again on a Real Red CS. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the same Set and I have inked it with Basic Black.

I also have added some Satin Basic Ribbon (Walmart) and some Mini Silver Brads.

Hope we have inspired you to play along??? Hope you will check out all the other fabulous ladies from the DT?!?

BIC17 Fresh Cuts

Good Morning!!!

It's Tuesday again....time for Beate's *Be Inspired* Challenge #17!!!.

Today Beate has chosen a
beautiful Coldwater Pillow.

You all know that I love *Black & White* cards....so this Challenge was a very fun for me.

This Color Combo always looks so elegant and of course that's exactly what I was trying to accomplish with this card as well.

The card was very simple to make....it measures 5" x 5".

I have used Basic Black as my base. Next I've stamped the *Fresh Cuts* image in Basic Black Ink and trimmed it to 3" x 3". The next Basic Black CS layer is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". The Whisper White CS layer is 4" x 4". This whole section was placed on Stampin Dimensionals.

Next I have added the sentiment to the *Styled Silver* Label Holder and attached it with Basic Black Satin Ribbon (Michael's). Then I have centered the image to the base of the card.

Hope you get a chance to play along??? Don't forget to check all the talented ladies from Beate's DT - you can find them on the right hand side of my blog!!!

BIC16 and Blog Candy Sketch

Good Morning!!!

It's Tuesday again and it's time for Beate's "Be Inspired" Challenge #16.

Today I've combined the BIC with my Blog Candy Sketch.
I have chosen Julee Tilman's request to try this Sketch right here. I thought it would work wonderful with the inspiration piece.

First of all I was so excited the Julee had played in my Blog Candy Game.....that I took her sketch and matched it with the super *Floral Whimsy* Stamp Set from Verse Visual. Which gave me the inspiration for this card - with all the lovely flowers and colors.

The colors I have used on my card are Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, Purely Pomegranate, Whisper White CS.

For the *Floral Whimsy* image I have used Wild Wasabi, Close to Cocoa, Apricot Appeal and Purely Pomegranate.
Then I have added a *Brown Scrapper's Floss* from Karen Foster right on top of the vase and tied it into a bow. I thought that was just tooooo cute - LOL!!! To balance the card out I have added two *Silver Flower Brads* from the *Styled Silver* SU Hardware.
Hope you like my card??? I'm off to the next request.
Please check out all the other ladies from Beate's BI Team. You can find them on the right hand side of my blog.

BIC15 Boho Backgrounds

Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Weekend?!?!

Ours was fun - we just hung out at the house and played basketball with the girls...pool time and relaxation after that....

That's why I can't believe it's already Tuesday again....WAHOOO - time for Beate's BIC#15!!!

Hope you don't mind that I have used this layout again....but I had to!!! This super sophisticated dress just screamed for it!!! When I saw the this dress I knew the *Boho Backgrounds* Set would be the perfect Set for it!!!

Of course the colors were inspired by this dress !!! I have chosen Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Basic Black and Whisper White.

I have stamped the Boho image first with Versamark and embossed it with Basic Black EP. I have used the 1 3/8" Punch to create the circles. Then I have added a *Pewter* Jumbo Eyelet and a large light blue Rhinestone in the center. Each circle was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the *All Holidays* Set and I have stamped it with Basic Black Ink and layered it with Basic Black CS. Then I have attached it on the upper right hand corner.

Hope you like my interpretation of the challenge and maybe you'll find the time to play today???

Make sure to check all the ladies on the BIC Team - they are located on the right side of my blog!!!

Have a great day and ~TFL~ !!!
