We celebrated Miriam's 13th birthday this weekend....I can't believe my baby is a TEENAGER!!! How can this be???

Along with all the craziness I found some time to craft a few "Thank you" gifts for the girls that attended....

I saw these cute MFT Lip Balm creations not too long ago and knew these would come in handy for Miriam's celebration...so of course I ordered the dies and the matching stamp set and had fun crafting these little giveaways.

Today is COLOUR Q time......and I also decided to play along in the PTI Create Along Challenge. I took Kay's colored butterfly card as my main inspiration! I actually stamped my butterfly with the SU Melon Mambo Ink first and then colored in between with a Light Pink Copic Marker.

I'm excited to host this month Crazy 4 Challenges...yeah!!! I would love it if you get a chance to play along with us!!!

Since my girls headed back to school this past week I thought it would be fun to make my first challenge all about creating a card/project for a teacher!!!

I created this card for Mimi's new 2. Grade teacher Mrs. Canty ....I hope she will like it :) ?!? I used the super cute Pure Innocence Because Your Special image from My Favorite Stamps. I love those super sweet girls :) ...how about you???  The image was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ YG11, YG13, Y08, Y021, R14, R17, B02, E0000, E000, E27, E29 and Colorless Blender.

C4C120 BIG WISH....

Happy weekend!

It's time for a new Crazy 4 Challenge  ~ C4C120 theme!!! Joanne has challenged us to create a *BIRTHDAY CARD FOR A CHILD*....fun, fun, fun!!!

We also have a fabulous sponsor this month and if you own their stamps than this challenge will be a doozy for ya...LOL!!! It's no other then My Favorite Things.

I have the pleasure of showing off some must have goodies....the Die-namic Oval Decorative Doily and the super duper cute Set from Pure Innocence called Believe in Magic. Stinkin' cute for sure!

The DP in the background is from the SU Pear Pizzaz Pattern Paper Collection and the Autumn Rose Ribbon is from the PTI. Next I added a matching PTI Button and some Green Scrapper's Floss. The bottom border was punched with the SU Scalloped Border Punch. At last I added the Clear Rhinestones from Kaisercraft.

C4C55 and more!!!

Hope you have something fun going on??? The girls and I are going to see some more volleyball games at our local University!!! It's a big weekend!!! We already won a game on Thursday night as well as last night....yeah...GO EAGLES!!!

Just in case you are feeling crafty...come and play the Sketch Joycelyn has created for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenge ~ C4C55 !!! Check it out......

Here is my take on it....I flipped the Sketch sideways!!!

I coudn't resist playing in this weeks IC250 ~ Garnett Hill. Once I saw the Garnett Hill shopping site I immediately knew I wanted to ink up my new PI Sets called ~ Being Cute Is What I Do. I simply chose the Kids Clothing Site for my inspiration and changed the colors to this weeks CQC50.

I also played along in this weeks CBC100 ~ B-Themed Embellishements!!! I used a Button, Brown Pearls, Bow, *Birthday* themed card.

My PI girl was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with Copic Markers ~ G24, G14, E47, R39, R22, YR07 and Colorless Blender. The BG was embossed with this dotted Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I also scored on each side of the dotted sides and finished the card off with some Ribbon, Button, Scrap Floss, Pearls and the birthday sentiment.

SFYTT, CQC45 Friends Forever

Happy Thursday everyone!!!

I received my new MFT goodies and couldn't resist inking them up for the CQC45. The Sketch is from this weeks SYFTT. 

Here is my take on it............

I used the new super cute PI girl Bunch of Blooms. The senitment is from another cute PI Set called *A Cart Full of Friends* (sorry could link it...it must be sold out)!!! The image itself was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ R34, R000, R00, G24, B35, B00, E000, E00.  The DP is from the SU Welcome Neighbor Collection. The flowers were bedazzled with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter. At last I added the punched border, the Ribbon with the Button and the Silver Pearls.

Dirty Girl Challenges!!!

Hello my stampin' friends!!!

Hope life is treating you well and you are staying cool in this tropical heat wave?!? My family and I went furniture shopping yesterday. Our oldest daughter needed a new bedroom suite and I'm so happy to say that after looking  f-o-r-e-v-e-r  we found something she really liked - praise the Lord!!! By the time we came home I was so exhausted I had to take a long nap!!! This heat  is really getting to me!!! Today I'm refreshed and I actually had some *me* time ....wahooo!!!

I'm just lovin' all the fun Dirty Girl Challenges over at SCS. My friend Denise is hosting a fun *girly* challenge ~ DTGD10peanutbee and of course I had to play along!!!  I combined this card with a few other DTDG Challenges ~ the Sketch is from DTGD10rainy - Sketch ( I actually flipped it around), the colors are inspired by DTGD10JeanneS, I'm using the *white* enforced theme from DTGD10rsalamon, I'm showing off my brand spankin' new PI girl  called *Make mine a Double* ~ which was inspired by Denise and DTGD10gbedwright and then I finished it off with the DTGD10craftycaro. Okay...I'm dizzy now...LOL!!!

The DP is from the BasicGrey Nook &Pantry Collection. I also used Yoyo Yellow CS, some Red/White Gingham Ribbon and two Large Silver Brads. The PI girl was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ E00, E000, R17, G14, Y15 and Colorless Blender.

Hope you all have something fun planned this weekend??? Since it's still way to hot down here I'm continuing cleaning and rearranging my messy stamp room...!!! We suppose to have some pop up showers tomorrow and I hope it's cooling off a bit!!!

Since I had a little *ME* time this afternoon and I was dying to ink up my new PI image called *A Cart Full of Friends*.  Once I saw this weeks MFT Sketch Challenge ~ MFTWSC07072010  I knew I had to play along!!! It also fits this weeks FA20 Challenge ~ using something  that you have recently purchased and NOT used!!!

Here is my take on it...........

My image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ C1, C3, C5, E00, E47,YR07, YR09. The punched out border is from a MS Punch. The DP is from SU Summer Picnic. The Ribbon and Button is from the PTI Orange Zest Collection.

MTSC79, CTD98, MTF WSC Got Candy???

Hello sweet friend!!!

Boy oh boy is it hot and humid down here in Georgia!!!  Summer definitely started around here. We had an heat index of a 110 F today....not sure what to expect for July and August....but I hope it will bring some wonderful, cool showers here and there!?!?!

We've been actually quite busy...we've been moving my oldest daughter upstairs away from the little ones. They always love to mess with Sarah's stuff....what can I say she is the coolest older sister...LOL!!! I hope this move will bring more peace for my sanity around here..LOL..okay at least I'm wishfull thinking :) !!!

I had a chance to play some more with my super sweet PI image called Lollipop Girl from MFT. I used the layout from Mercy's MTSC79 Sketch. These soft colors are from the CTD98 ~ using Blush Blossom, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. I'm also submitting this cutie for the MTF WSC Challenge ~ using Cork or Felt.

The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with these Copic Markers ~ E00, E000, YR01, G24, E47, R30 and Colorless Blender. The Dotted Embossing Folder is from QuicKutz. I added some Mellow Moss Ribbon, a White Felt Flower and a matching Button. At last I added the sentiment with some Chocolate Kaiser Pearls and bedazzled the yummy lollipop with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter!!!
