Home Tweet Home.....


Happy TGIF!!!

Even though there is not a *Flourish Challenge* this Friday I thought I'd make a card with one of my new Sets - called *Home Tweet Home* plus there is lots of news to report!!!

1.) Check the Flourishes Newsletter next Friday as Flourishes launches something your are not want to miss. I am sure it will be one of your favorites!!!

2.) How would you like to get away for a *Flourishes Stampers Dream Weekend* February 21-22, 2009???

Here are the deeds:
Join us for a full weekend of stamping with some of the best Flourishes Designers including a class taught by Jan Marie where you will be taught cards and techniques as designed by one of the fabulous Flourishes Designers and free lecture given by Marianne Walker with a *Theory of Color* lecture.

Where: Flourishes Stamping Weekend Location: 4140 Lyric Lane, Pensacola, Florida

Saturday February 21:
Stamp the day away with a morning and afternoon class featuring Flourishes designers Becca Feeken and Faith Hofrichter. You'll learn how to create wonderful cards in their original style. Instruction, lunch, snacks, and all supplies are included.

Sunday, February 22:
The morning is free for you to sleep in or enjoy some of the sights. Join us in the afternoon for a class with Jan Marie Caruso, where you will come away with finished cards and a limited addition stamp set. Then join us afterwards for a lecture on Color Theory by Copic Instructor -Marianne Walker. We'll provide an afternoon snack and all supplies.

Price: $150 per person. Payment is due by February 8 AND IS NONREFUNDABLE!

Ink: Memento *Rich Cocoa* Ink, Sage Shadow SU Marker, Copic YG91 Putty, Prisma PM-88 Dark Brown and PM-86 Cherry.
Accessories: Ribbon from Stamper's Dream, Stampin Dimensionals, Copper Brads
Technique: Piercing

I saw your card on Flourishes Newsletter and had to come and tell you how pretty I think it is. I love your tie at the top that looks so much like a bird's nest. Beautiful card! I am looking forward to the Stamper's Dream week-end. :)
