JustRite Projects

Happy Day everyone!!! Today and the next two days are gonna be super busy with all the *Halloween* parties, Pumpkin Parades and Trick or Treating.....that' why I don't know if I get a chance to stamp anything...., but I wanted to show you really quick some fun projects I made with my new JustRite items. (Just in case you missed them in the gallery )

I have seen many people using them and I was so excited to finally give it a try!!!

The first card and the pillow box were stamped with the *Special Occasions Font*.

These next projects were stamped with the *Christmas Ensemble* and the *Baking Ensemble*!!!

As you can tell these Set's are not only for making yummy treats ....they easily convert to fun card projects as well!!!

Of course I forgot to post one more bag - LOL - I made this one this past weekend for the OCC girls and you can see it right here.
Hope you enjoyed my ideas??? ~TFL~

BIC29 Thank You and Joy to the World Sneak Peek

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

WOW - isn't this a gorgeous Bedroom Beate has chosen for today's BIC29???

It is so bright and the colors are soooo pretty!!! Wouldn't mind waking up in this room every morning - LOL!!!

Love all the different textures too - the Seagrass Sleigh Bed is totally up my alley!!!

One day - when my girls are all grown up and won't destroy everything....I might buy one - LOL!!!

Here is my take on the room.........

I took my inspiration from the gorgeous colors of the room - I used Whisper White, Kraft, Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point and Basic Black.

I embossed the Kraft CS with the *Argyle* CB folder and tore it on top and side. I stamped the image from the *Eastern Blooms* in Kiwi Kiss. I repeated stamping the same image with Pacific Point and Pink Pirouette on a separate CS. Next I cut some of the flowers out and layered them randomly on top of my first stamped image. I actually found this idea in the new Catalog on page 9. Isn't it pretty???

The sentiment is from the *All Holidays* Set and I stamped it in Basic Black plus I pierced right below it. The image was layered onto Basic Black CS and I distressed around the edges. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

At the end I added some *Black Staples* from Making Memories, some small Silver Brads (Michaels) and the Pacific Point Ribbon.

Here is a *Sneak Peek* from the brand new Set *Joy to the World* from *Our Daily Bread Designs* - this Set and two other Set's will be available November, 1st - isn't this a beautiful nativity image???

I used the same color theme from the BIC29 on this card - Whisper White, Kraft, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point and Basic Black.

The layout is from Jen del Muro's SFYTT Sketch this past Saturday.

The panel on the left side was pierced with a brand new template that will be available at *OBDB*!!! The design I used is called *Marianne*. More details about this and other templates can be found on the ODBD site starting November!!!

Don't worry - I'll show off the other two Set's thru out this week!!!

Hope you will have a chance to play along???

Please don't forget to check out all the other ladies from Beate's DT -

FS90 Merry Christmas

Hello again!!! After I posted my *birthday* post (down below) - I had to find out who the *Featured Stamper* is.....and I was so happy to see that Kay Kalthoff aka *Speedystamper* was selected!!!

Congratulations Kay!!! Your gallery is gorgeous and I so love your style!!!

After getting lost in her gallery I finally decided to case this card. Since I have to make more *holiday* cards I stuck with the holiday theme.

I changed the layout to Beate's WSC63. I changed the colors to - Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue. I embossed the BG with the CB *Snowflake* folder. The sentiment is from the *All Holiday* Set and I pierced right in between. To dress my card up I added some *Silver Staples* on the side. I still had plenty of *Star* Chipboard's from the retired *On board Garland Greetings* leftover and decided to make that my focal point. I bedazzled the *Star* with some light blue MS Glitter.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Hi everybody!!!!

As promised..... I finally had some time to download my RAK's and birthday pictures.....

My oldest daughter Sarah decorated my birthday table - isn't it pretty???
Everything was color coordinated....my Sarah is such a little perfectionist.

The girls woke me up with the *Happy Birthday* song and surprised me with a cake and gifts!!! The cake was gone before I could even take pictures....LOL!!!

My DH took me out Saturday evening before my birthday. We celebrated with some friends at a yummy restaurant - it was so nice to get away from the girls - I was in desperate need of some adult time - LOL!!!

My oldest daughter Sarah punched all kinds of flowers and butterfly as confetti from my Punch collection - isn't' this a neat idea for the table decoration???

These are my birthday flowers!!!

I had these on the Altar at the church the day before and brought them home. Aren't they gorgeous???

Next are some gorgeous cards I received from my friends . The first card and journal are from my DD Sarah.

I received some awesome gift's this year - Silver Jewelry, a Canon Rebel EOS (was on the top of my wish list), gift cards, some gorgeous PTI Cardstock and Ribbon, a new wallet from my oldest DD - she even paid with her own money (means a lot to me) - LOL!
The ultimated birthday gift came this Friday night when my family took me to the movies to see the *High School Musical 3*!!! I think my girls were more excited about it than me - *wink*!!!
I told ya it's a week long celebration at our house...LOL!!!

IC151 Princess and LSC191 Christian Symbol plus OCC Projects

Happy Saturday you all!!! WOW - it's been a cray week for me.....still trying to get caught up!!!

Did you see what the OCC ladies are up too??? Today's Challenge is to create some *Handmade* items - like boxes, treat bags, gift bags etc...

Well - I'll be doing a lot of treat bags this year for my girls teachers, church members, neighbors and so on...

That's were my fabulous JustRite *Chrismas* and *Baking* Stamp Ensembles come in handy - a must have for the holidays!!!

These bags are just way too cute and you can dress them up anyway you like to.

I made the Fudge the other day to start showing off some holiday ideas and I have not even had a chance to do anything with it, but eat them....they started disappearing really quick around here - LOL!!! I grabbed the leftovers and made this bag for today's OCC challenge - man I'm sooooo lucky!!!

I made this small *Chocolate* bag this morning. This was so easy to make. I used the Scallop Edge Punch and punched the top. Next I stamped the inside image with my Real Red Stampin' Spot and the outside with the Brilliant Blue Stampin' Spot. Then used the Circle Coluzzle to cut the two separate circles. The center image was raised with Stampin Dimensions. I layered the whole image onto the largest Scalloped Nesti and attached it with Stampin Dimensionals to the bag. To finish it off I added this Red Ribbon. Voila!!!
***************************

I still owe you some b-day pictures - I'll try to post them tomorrow along with some awesome RAK cards I received!!!

I can't remember if I mentioned that my girls were off for *Fall Break* last week...but on our way to the beach we stopped at the new Target along the way....oh yeahhhh - I love this store!!! As we were browsing thru the isles I found this super duper cute *Disney Princess* Set and you know with my girls I had to buy it!!! Matter of fact - my little one *Miriam* is totally into the *Princesses* right now. Plus her *4th* Birthday is coming up in December and I think we might use this Set for some Invitations.
So when I saw today's IC151 and found this *Princess Bedding* - I couldn't help myself to show you this fun Stamp Set.

I stamped the image in Basic Black and colored it with some Prismacolor Markers. I also used a new item called *Shimmerz*.
Click here to find out more. I used my Aqua Painter to color the Shimmerz onto my dress - click on the photos to see it up close. This product is soo cool - it adds just enough sparkle to make your image look gorgeous!!!

Anyway - I hope you like my little princess card???

If you have any little girls - I think you should stop by Target and find this Set - sorry I'm such an enabler - LOL!!!

Check out my next card.....

*********************

Here is my card I made for the LSC191 yesterday. We had to use *Leaves* on our card...I been wanting to show you more of this gorgeous Set from *Our Daily Bread Designs* called *Flourished Christan Symbols*.

I embossed the cross with the retired *Dark Brown* EP and followed the SC199 layout. The colors are from the CC189 - Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss and Chocolate Chip.

The longer panel was CB embossed with the *Leafy Branch* folder. I stamped the sentiment from the same Set in Chocolate Chip and pierced right below it.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will have a great weekend!!!

CC189 We Three Kings

Hi again!!!

Had to play really quick for the CC189.
I've been wanting to create something with the MOJO56 Sketch from last Monday. I already had an idea, but wasn't sure about the colors yet...until today!!!
I started with a Whisper White card base. Then added the Pink Pirouette CS - which I pierced - and also added a circle of the Old Olive Prints DP (I exchanged the Kiwi Kiss with the Old Olive color). I pierced around the circle and did a *Faux Stitching* with the Chocolate Chip Marker. I also distressed the edges of the DP.
Next I stamped the *We Three Kings* image from *Our Daily Bread Designs* in Chocolate Chip Ink. I colored the the image with various Copic and Prismacolor Markers (I did try to keep them with the color theme). I distressed the edges of the image and layered it on top of Pink Pirouette and Chocolate Chip. To dress it up a bit I added a Medium Copper Brad on the right hand side.
According to the Sketch I added a *Star* Chipboard from the *On Board Accent* Collection and bedazzled it with some Brown Glitter from Martha Stewart.
Hope you like it??
If you haven't seen today's *BIC* Challenge go down one post and check it out....

BIC28 Frosty

Happy Tuesday - WOW - another week has gone by so fast......

Today Beate is featuring this very contemporary looking room....hmmmm not sure if I would like to live there - LOL??? But I thought it was a fabulous inspiration piece.....which lead me to create my card below.

I told you - that I'll be working on some more *Christmas* cards....

I found a Set that I always loved *Frosty* - isn't he awesome??? The fun part is that you can color him anyway you like....
I stamped the fun little guy in Basic Black and colored him with a Copic Marker (R29 Lipstick Red). Next I distressed the the edges of the stamped image. Then I dressed *Frosty* up with some piercing around the layered White CS, Black Gingham Ribbon, medium Silver Brads on the outside corners, some regular Silver Brads next to the sentiment - which is from the *Fundamental Phrases* Set - and at last I've added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter on his hat, scarf and on the bottom of the image - voila the card is done!!!
Hope you like it???
Please stop by all the other wonderful ladies that designed for Beate's *BIC*.
Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck.
Have fun playing along!!! ~TFL~

Lori A. said...
Happy Birthday!! I'm on the "down" side of the hill going towards 40. I certainly don't feel that "old"!I think the kindest gesture was on my 26th birthday. My husband was sick with pneumonia, my stepdaughter had chicken pox (and our youngest would get it soon after! LOL) but he still went out to make sure I had a gift, balloon and cake. Although I certainly didn't expect it and scooted him off to bed afterwards, I felt so incredibly special and loved.

Congrats Lori - e-mail me (silkeledlow@yahoo.com) your address and I'll mail the goodies off to you!!!!

Hope you all gonna stop by again soon???

Hugs

IC150 Chirp Up and OCC Home for Christmas

Happy Saturday you all!!!!

Can you tell I got up early to play...??? I already made two cards - I consider this a fabulous day for me - LOL!!!

When I saw the IC150 this morning I knew I had to play along - it's right up my alley!!!

I was inspired by this pretty image and I had the perfect Set called *Chirp* from *Little Paper Shop*.

I inked the tree and sentiment in Wild Wasabi and the birdies in Tangerine Tango. To finish the card off I've pierced right below the sentiment and added the DS TT Ribbon.

Next I'm showing off the OCC Sketch. I used the new Holiday Set *Home for Christmas*. This will be my 3rd Christmas Card design for my little *Challenge* I have going on with my friend Mary Fish .

The DP is from the new Holiday DP *Ski Slope*. I colored the image with various Copic & Prismacolor Markers. Then bedazzled it with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter. Next I layered the image onto Chocolate Chip. Raised it onto Whisper White and at last I added the Real Red CS. The whole panel was raised again with Stampin Dimensionals. Next I added a Brown Satin Ribbon (Walmart) which I tied to a Copper Ribbon Holder (SU) and some medium Copper Brads (Michaels).

Hope you like it???
Wanna see my other two *Christmas* cards??? Go down a bit and take a look!!!
Don't miss my *Blog Candy*!!! Please read the details first!!!

LSC190 Let it Snow

Happy TGIF!!!
Playing the LSC190 today - gave me a chance to think of another *Christmas* card. Since I need tons of them I thought this would make a cute one that I could make lots of - changing the DP and colors around....(if you have not seen my first holiday card click right here ).

For this card I used the new Holiday DP from SU *Ski Slope* and the super cute SU Set *Big on Christmas*. I've stamped the image with Chocolate Chip and colored it with SU Markers (Real Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie) as well as Copic Markers (Manganese Blue #B34 with Colorless Blender). I've added a bit of Dazzling Diamond Glitter on the hat. Next I've added the Silver Jumbo Eyelet (A.C. Moore) and tied the 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon. I raised this image panel with Stampin Dimensionals. Well - now I need to make at leat 9 more of these.....see ya later!!!

Don't forget to go down one post and sign up for my *BLOG CANDY*!!! Make sure you read the details first.....!!! Have a great weekend!!! ~TFL~

SC198 Footprints in the Sand

Happy Day!!!

WOW - I didn't think I could get creative on the SC198 Challenge - I have tried this Sketch on 2 different cards - which they end up in the trash can - until I've tried this card. Maybe flipping the Sketch helped a bit....

I used the gorgeous *Footprint in the Sand* Set from *Our Daily Bread Designs*.

Once again - I've tried to keep my design very simple and focus mainly on this beautiful image. I love this Set so much - to me it speak volume - I know that my Savior is walking with me every day and for some reason every time I see this Set - I have this warm feeling coming over me...knowing he is right beside me!!! I know you all probably think I'm silly, but I can't help how I feel!!!

Anyway - I have used only two colors on this card - Kiwi Kiss and Whisper White. Hope you like it??? I didn't have a chance to stamp the inside of the card - which I will, but I really need to be going......

If you like - come back later and I'll have a *SURPRISE* waiting!!!

BIC27 Snowfall

Happy Tuesday!!! It's time for Beate's *Be Inspired* Challenge!!!

Isn't this a pretty scarf??? I really like the beautiful design and colors.

I'm in desperate need of some *Christmas* cards....My friend Mary Fish and I have a little *Challenge* of our own going...we both have to make at least 50 Christmas cards by December, 1st. That way we both have some cards to show off for the holidays - LOL!!! So over the next couple of weeks I'll show you my different *Christmas* designs.
Anyway - today I have made a card that was mainly inspired by the colors of the scarf. I used Pink Pirouette, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Grey and Whisper White CS.

I used the retired SU *Snowfall* Set and the matching Jumbo Stampin' Wheel *Bold Snowflakes* that I unraveled...(another fab idea from my friend Mary Fish). I actually trimmed the individual *Snowflakes* from the Wheel and adhered them to *EZ Mount* - then I stamped them randomly on the Pink Pirouette CS with the same color Ink. Next I embossed the larger Snowflake with Silver EP and distressed the edges. Then I layered the image onto Purely Pomegranate. Before I've layered this panel onto Basic Grey I added a Silver Brad to the right hand bottom corner. I also distressed the edges of the Basic Grey CS. Next I figured out where my Taffeta Basic Grey Ribbon would look best and added the Silver Jumbo Eyelet with the Ribbon. To finish it up I stamped the sentiment in Basic Grey. Voila!!!
Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

The same for the Ink plus a tiny bit of So Saffron and Going Gray. To dress it all up I've added some piercing, the retired Blue Bayou DS Ribbon, Jumbo Eyelet and some tiny Brads.

FS88 A day that's Perfect, Preview #3

Here I am again....browsing and not sleeping......
and guess what the Featured Stamper Challenge #88 was already posted - wahoooo!!!

Today's lucky lady is the fabulous Mrs. Anne Ryan!!!! If you don't know Anne - let me tell ya - she is exquisite!!! She is one of the ladies over on SCS that I hope to meet one lucky day!!!

Just tonight she has left me the sweetest comment on my gallery card - that I almost broke down and cried - that's how wonderful she can make someone feel!!!

Anyway - you can see Anne's gorgeous gallery right here. This is Anne's card which inspired me to create my card!!! I've tried to keep the elegant look of the card and the only things I have really changed is that I have not used any DP and I have not done any stitching/sewing plus I used a different Stamp Set!!!

Here is a little bit of information on my card. I have added this brand new *Birthday Sentiment Set* called *Make a Wish* from *Little Paper Shop's* which we are featuring this Sunday - basically in a couple of hours.....it comes with a whole lot of other beautiful sayings. I also used the *Flourished Dove* Set from today's/yesterday's preview.

I used Soft Sky CS as my base. Next I stamped the flourished border with Close to Cocoa and distressed the bottom of the White CS. Then I layered the image onto Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip - which the CC CS is punched with the *Scalloped Edge Punch* from SU. I added some tiny pearls to the scallops. Next I stamped the sentiment (perfect for Anne's day in the spot light) and added the swirled image on the top left corner. I dressed the card up with a matching Close to Cocoa Satin Ribbon (Michaels) and the Hat Pin that I decorated with Pearls from the SU *Prettiest Kit*.

As you can tell I also decorated the inside of my card - I really love this look, but I must admit most of the times I'm a bit lazy to do so...!!!
Have a great Sunday!!!!

IC149 *Little Paper Shop's* Preview #2

Hello everyone!!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend???

I planned on going to bed early tonight, but I couldn't sleep....again. So I started browsing the SCS gallery and to my pleasant surprise I saw the Inspirations Challenge posted - waahhooo!!! Since everyone in my house is already sleeping I thought I'd play along!!!

If you have not seen the IC149 yet - make sure to check it out!!! Steph has inspired us with some pretty cool looking Japanese *water coloring* creations!!!

Here is the piece I took for my inspiration. Sorry - I didn't feel like getting everything dirty late at night....so I took the easy approach and just stamped!!! This inspired *Love Letter* fits perfect with the second preview for *Little Paper Shop*. This Set is called *Flourished Dove* - I like all the *swirled* pieces on this Set and the pretty doves - perfect for a *Love Letter*!!!

My card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". I started out with a Basic Black CS. Next I've inked the swirls on the right and left side. Then I added the pretty *Smitten Heart* Rhinestones from K&Company (LSS). Next I've stamped the doves and added the sentiment. Once I was done with the stamping part I layered the image onto a Basic Black CS. Then I raised it with Stampin Dimensionals before I layered it onto the Pretty in Pink CS. Next I started piercing around the Pretty in Pink CS. To finish it all up I've added the Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon.

Swing by the *Little Paper Shop* blog in the morning to see the other cards from the Design Team!!! If you like go down one post and check out the card I have made for Preview #1!!!
Have a good night or a good morning....~TFL~

INSPIRED BY CHALLENGE - #IB314 CHRISTMAS PICNIC

Happy Thursday! These past weeks have just flown by and it's almost mid of December! How are your Christmas preparations coming along? T...
