MTME August Sneak Peek Day 3!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!

Hope you had a chance to follow the August MTME Sneak Peek so far??? If not swing by Lauren's Blog to get all caught up!!! Today Stephanie, Lauren and I are showing off another MTME Template called *Shop Til' You Drop*.  All the new MTME goodies are available in the store tomorrow!!!

When I started thinking about my project I was inspired to re-created my favorite shopping cart from Target!!! One of my favorite stores to shop, but unfortunately I always have to drive down to Savannah to do so...!!! Hopefully one day we'll have a store in our town :) ?!?

Anyway, here is my idea.......

So what do you think...isn't it the cutest paper shopping cart ever!?! I filled my cart up with some small hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works...perfect little gift for the kids to go back to school!!!

I went with the color theme - Black, Red and Vanille. The gift image and the sentiment on the card are from the Money Well Spent Set © Stamp Set. The BG on my card was scored and I decorated the Black Satin Ribbon with some Silver Pearls.

Thank you stopping by today!!! Please make sure to come back tomorrow....we are showing off some MTME group projects!!! See ya...hugs ~S~

More fun times!!!

Happy TGIF!!!

As promised I'm back with some photo's from our trip to Tybee Beach!!! We had a wonderful time...my girls and I just love the beach. The weather wasn't that promising that day, but we decided to stick around to see if the clouds would clear up...it even started drizzling a bit, but we were positive it would all go away and it did.

It was overcast, but it was perfect as could be...the water was wonderful...lots of fabulous waives we could jump into. We saw lots of dolphins, pelicans and a fish jumped right out of the ocean as I was walking back to the beach...it scared the HECK out of me...LOL!!!

Thanks for visiting today...I'll be back with a fun MTME project tomorrow!!! Hugs ~S~

I haven't had much stamping time as I was down with some migraines, but today I'm feeling better...and I had to sit down and do my prep work for the MTME August Release that actually started today over at Lauren's Blog. I'll be showing off my project on Saturday...I hope you come by and check it out!?!?

I thought I'd share some fun photo's from the Water park...if you ever in the Statesboro, GA area it's a must to stop at the *Splash* and don't forget to get in touch with me :) !!!

We had so much fun visiting the park!!! We might head back there tomorrow if the weather allows it!!!  I'll be back tomorrow with some beach photo's!!!

I hope you don't get tired of me using the fab PTI Butterfly Dreams Set?!? I just love this this Set :) ....the leaf image is also from a PTI Set called Turning a New Leaf. The butterflies were inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ R000, R00, R32, YR01, YR02. Happy TGIF!!!

Hello everyone!!!

My goodness this week has flown by....sorry I don't have a card for you!!! But I do have some photos!!!

My friend Penny Allen and I went up to Atlanta yesterday to meet up with some friends ~ Robin Kirkpatrick and Julie Warner!!!  Our trip was actually planned a while back, because Maki Jones was suppose to come to town...her hubby was on business in ATL for a few weeks. Unfortunately Maki's hubby finished his job early and he had to move on to the next town....so, no Maki...but of course we didn't want to miss hanging out with Robin and Julie!!!

Here is a photo of us at PF Chang...yummy!!! Right before we all got together I found out that our girl Maki became a *Dirty Girl* and we had a reason to celebrate...wahooo!!!

After lunch we went to Archiver's ~ my favorite store in the whole wide world ~ and of course we couldn't pass up a little shopping trip through the Mall of Georgia!!!

Today I'm just chillin' and hanging out with my girls!!!  My middle daughter came down with an ear-infection...poor baby...and I have to love on her some more!!!

Enjoy your weekend and I'll be back with a card on Sunday for the new Curtain Call Challenge!!!  If you have time check out my updated STAMPS FOR SALE LIST!!!  Hugs ~S~

CQC41 Birthday Girl

Happy Wednesday!!!

My girls wore me out yesterday....LOL...I had to recuperate today!!! Tonight I finally felt like making a card!!!

Here is my idea.......

I used the beautiful ColorQ41 for my inspiration. These colors are so dramatic and fun....I just had to create a girly birthday card with it!!!  I asked my oldest daughters which Stamp Sets she would like to see on my card and she chose two of my favorite PTI Sets ~ Turning A New Leaf and  Butterfly Dreams

The Design Paper in the BG is from my SU stash....I think it was in the past Mini Brochure?!?
I added a Large Black Scallop Border, some PTI Ribbon and some Silver Pearls. Before I forget... I stroked my Basic Gray Ink Pad over the entire leaf image...I love that look!!! You can accomplish this look by stoking your pad in ONLY ONE direction!!! Try it...!!!

Have a wonderful evening!!! Hugs ~S~

I inked them in Memento Black and colored the blossom with Copic Markers ~ R000, R00, Y15. I bedazzled the image with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter.  My card measures 3 1/2" x 7".  I finished the card by adding some piercing on top, some Black Satin Ribbon, a Black Button, Black Scrapper's Floss and the Silver Pearls on the side.
