Flourishes Timeless Tuesday and some DTGD's!!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

It's crazy, I can't believe it is almost the end of the month!!! Our summer break is coming to an end and I'm thrilled that my kiddos are going back to school next week...6 more days...can you tell I'm excited...LOL!?!

Since it end of the month , we invited a challenge host for this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC77. It's the super sweet and uper talented Emily Keaton. Emily is challenging us to use *PINS*!!! All kinds of pins will do....think stick pins, hat pins, safety pins, straight pins, diaper pins, even mini clothes pins or a brooch-style pin!!!

Here is my idea.........

I used the gorgeous and super delicious new Berry Sweet Set. The colors were inspired by this weeks CTD102 ~ using Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi and Not Quite Navy. My card base is Vintage Cream. The DP is from the K&C Blue Awning Collection. I paired it up with a small Paper Doily that I ink distressed to match the Vintage Cream color. The blueberry image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ G12, G21, G24, N1, B00, B37, B97 and Colorless Blender. I finished my card with some Stitched Wild Wasabi Ribbon, some Halfback Pearls and the Hat Pin.

Quick info....I found these *hat pins* at Michael's in the *wedding* isle...I dressed them up with some left over pearls from my SU Pretties Kit!!!

My card was also inspired by these Dirty Girl Challenges ~ DTGD10AmberDawn02,
DGTD10melmelDTGD10debdeb, DTGD10SweetMissDaisy, DTGD10kmahany and DTGD10gbedwright.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!! Please make sure to check out Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki's ideas!!! Have fun playing along!!! Hugs ~S~

Thanks for the tip on checking the Michael's wedding aisle!!! I love how you used your pin for my challenge. Thanks for the marvelous eye candy this morning :)

Love that polka dotted DP and those blueberries look good enough to eat. Our area is the second larges blueberry producer in North America outside of Michigan so we are getting ready to freeze 70 pounds again this year! Yup, love my blueberries LOL! Darling card and well done using the doily.

I'm jealous of your 6 day countdown LOL! How did the waterslides go?!
