Happy weekend my sweet stampin' friends!!!
Hope you're have some fun plans??? I'm taking my middle daughter to Savannah for some shopping. Rebecca grew quite a bit this summer..and her feet grew from a shoe size 5 to a 7 1/2....crazy huh??? Anyway, Savannah here we come!!!
Are you ready to ink up your stamps this weekend??? How about playing along for this week Crazy4Challenges ~ C4C50 ??? Frances is feeling groovy and she is challenging us to add some *MUSIC* to our creations!!! It could be a music related stamp, designer paper, embossing folders, punches etc..... whatever you wish.
Here is my idea...........
The design for my card was inspired by the IC photo over at the Shabby Tea Room. I also combined it with the SSCC#51 ~ create an *apology* or *words of encouragement* card. The layout is again form the TESC123.
The beautiful encouraging Bible Verse is from the Sing to the Lord Set from ODBD. The Music BG is from an old Stampabilities Stamp called ~ Composer's Dream. The colors I used are Kraft, Vintage Vanilla and Chocolate Chip. The Design Paper is from the SU Bella Blue Collection. I added some *Faux Stitching* and *distressed* the edges. The card was dressed up with the beautiful MS Butterfly Punch, some Cotton Lace Ribbon, some Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Button, Brown Scrapper's Floss and the Halfback Pearls.
Please make sure to check out the C4C Team for all their musical creations ~ Angela, Barbara, Cindy, Frances, Jessie, Joanne, Lynda, Maria, Silke K. and Vicki.
Have fun playing along and thank you for stopping by today!!! Hugs ~S~

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC68
Happy Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!!
It is time for a new Challenge - FTTC68 !!! Since it's the end of the month we are introducing you to our monthly Guest Designer!!! It is the fabulous and super sweet Velta Wesson.
Velta is challenging us to "MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS" !!! I know you have seen all of these wonderful dimensional homemade flowers and today is your chance to make one too! They look fabulous on any project and they are not hard to do!!! Check out the Flourishes Blog for an awesome flower tutorial made by our very own Dawn Burnsworth or stop by SCS for some more flower ideas!!! Whichever form of flower you choose to create, we would love to have you play along with us!!!
Here is my flower idea :) .......
The wonderful quote I used today is from the new Cherry Blossom Set and it was inked in Memento Black. The Design Paper for the flowers are from the BasicGrey Nook & Pantry Collection. The flower die is from the Beautiful Blooms II Collection.. The Groovy Guava BG was embossed with the Sunshine Impression Plate and the Lable One BG was scored.
The idea to make this a more *vintage* looking card came from this weeks SSCC40 Challenge. I ink distressed the entire card with the Vintage Touch Ink. The flowers were roughed up with a Stylus and I crunched them together pretty good. I used some Large Silver Brads in the center of the flowers. The leaves are from some leftover fake flowers. I trimmed them and glued them to the back of the flowers. At last I added some Silver Pearls in the corners to finish off the card.
Please stop by Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee, Maki and Velta for some more gorgeous flower cards!!!
Don't forget to link your card directly to the *Link System* at the Flourishes Blog for you chance to win a $10 store Gift Certificate. Also, check out the blog for more ways to win!!!
Thank you for stopping by today!!! Enjoy your day!!!

C4C33, CCCC26 and SSSC65 Happy Birthday
Hello sweet stampin' friends!!!
I finally took my first Zumba class last night and I LOVED IT!!! I'm a little sore today, but I guess that's part of working your hips, legs and upper body...LOL!!! I was the OLDEST participant in the class....but the girls & guys (mainly 18 to 22 years olds) were so sweet and made me an awesome compliment...they thought I was in my early 30's - wahoooo!!! When I told them my *real age* (41) they couldn't believe it!!! They totally made my night...LOL!!! I'm looking forward going again on Sunday.
Today I have two cards to share....my first one is for the Curtain Call Challenge #26 - using Basic Gray, Going Gray and Crushed Curry. I really love the chic look of these colors!!! The layout is from this weeks C4C33 Sketch.

I can't remember what this new SU Set is called, my friend was sweet enough to let me ink it up!!! I think I'll have to have it....just one more week and the new SU Mini comes out!!!
The second card is for this week Sweet Sunday Sketch #65. Once again I used the colors from the Curtain Call #26.
This is a new Two-Step SU Set called Awash with Flowers. Isn't it neat!?!
I scored the background first and then stamped the image. The DP on the top card and on this card is from the SU Urban Oasis Collection. I topped this card off with a matching Basic Gray Corduroy Button and some White Scrap Floss that I colored with the Crushed Curry Marker.
I'm also submitting these card to this TSC Wednesday Challenge...the theme is to make a *birthday card*!!! Plus the SSCC#35 - adding flowers to your card!!!
Thank you for stopping by....I have to go and feed my little monsters now!!! Have a wonderful evening!!!
Hugs ~S~
