Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!!

Happy Tuesday you all!!!

Today Kimberly is hosting the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC31!!! She is challenging us to a tough one - **NO COLORING ALLOWED** - yep, put your Markers down and get creative!!!!

You can use solid images or use a technique to showcase outline stamps in a non-colored way. There are many techniques from paper piecing, embossing, glittered, or heat embossing to name a few. Whichever you decide, would love to see what you create!!!

I decided to *paper piece*......I haven't done this technique in a while!!!

I used the fabulous Flourishes - I love Roses and Many Sentiments Set.

The colors are White, Old Olive and Orange. The DP is from the retired SU Summer Picinic Collection.

Make sure to stop by - Betty, Cindy, Dee and Kimberly's blog for their take on this Challenge!!!

Hope you all come out and play along with us??? Have a good one!!!

IC195, OCC Sketch Challenge!!!

Happy Saturday you all!!!

I created this card for todays IC195 - Creative Wall Coverings and todays OCC Sketch Challenge -which is hosted by Loretta!!!!

The IC195 inspired me with two Wall Covering ideas (I ran with the designs)......the first one is the Spellbound Overlap Scrolls that I added to the butterfly. The second on is this Graphic Panel Strip that reminded me of the new TSG Flourish Mini Set that I showcased on my post yesterday!!!

I haven't made a pocket card in a while and when I saw this Sketch I was so excited :) !!! If you plan on playing along in the OCC Challenge you don't have to make a pocket card if you don't want to...you can interpret this Sketch anyway you like!!!

For this card I used the awesome Bermuda Bay and Rich Razzleberry color. The DP is from the Bermuda Bay Patterns Designer Collection.

The butterfly is from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die. I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Swirl Folder. If you like this flourish image.....then you still have a chance to win it!!!! Check out this post right HERE!!!

Anyway back to my card.....I pierced right around the edges and added a Silver Designer Flower Brad to the pull-out CS.

Don't forget to stop by Jennifer, Loretta, Jenny and Joycelyn's blog for their take on the Sketch!!!

I bet you can't wait to find out *who* will be on the new OCC Team...???? Make sure to stay tuned as we reveal the new Team next week!!! Plus I have more news to tell you this upcoming week :)

Sorry I had to tease ya - LOL - have a wonderful weekend!!! Hugs ~S~

I'm a little disappointed that my camera did capture the beauty of this image better :( ... I guess all the Glitter I added was too much distraction - LOL!!!

The close up turned out much better..... (click on the photo)!!!

This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". I used the new In-Color Melon Mambo, White and Basic Black. The DP is from the Melon Mambo Design Prints Collection. I accessorised my card with Silver Pearls (Michael's), a Styled Silver Ribbon Slide and some yummy matching Raspberry Fizz Satin Ribbon (PTI).

At last I added some piercing on the left side and scoring on the right side of my card base.

************************************************

My second card is regular size 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

On this card I used the new In-Color Dusty Durango, So Saffron and White. The DP is from the Dusty Durango Design Prints Collection. I decided to score the So Saffron CS to add a little bit of interest :) !!!

The image was inked with Memento Black and I colored it with Copic Markers - G07, R08, R85, V17, Y35, YG91 plus a Colorless Blender.

The card was decorated with some more Silver Pearls, Silver Cord, So Saffron Ribbon and a matching Button.

****************************************

My third card is a Long Card - it measures 3 1/4" x 6 1/2".

The base CS is Kraft. I added the new In-Color Rich Razzleberry and White. The Design Paper is from the Razzleberry Lemonade Collection.

The cage was inked in Basic Black , the birdies and the sentiment were inked with Rich Razzleberry.

I used the Eyelet Border Punch on the bottom of the Design Paper. I added a strip of Rich Razzleberry CS and White CS on top of the DP and pierced it.

To finish it all up I decorated this card with the matching Rich Razzleberry Polka Dotted Ribbon, a matching Button, small Silver Pearls and the bow on top of the cage was made with some yellow Scrap Floss.
