Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC73

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I have two posts today and if you are looking for my MTME project please click right HERE!!!

It is time for another fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC73 !!! It is the last Tuesday of the month so we have a challenge host. This month's host is Cindy Coutts. Cindy is giving us a *FRUIT* inspired challenge. You can actually create a card with fruits, use fruity colors, or be inspired by fruit shapes. It will be a cool and refreshing sweet treat whichever choice you decide. We look forward to seeing what you'll create!!!

This card is for a very sweet friend who had a birthday last week.....unfortunately I'm a bit late, but I hope she will like this card regardless!?! I used the delicious Cherries and Peaches Set. The birthday senitment is from the Tag Lines Set.

My colors were inspired by this weeks Curtain Call Act #36 ~ using Kraft, Real Red, Night of Navy and White. I inked the cherry image in Memento Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ G12, G21, G24, E39, R17, R22, R27, R29 and Colorless Blender. Once I was done coloring I applied some Crystal Effect to the cherries...it looks so neat..and I hope you can see it in the second photo (make sure to click on it)!?!

Please make sure to stop by Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee, Maki and of course Cindy Coutts blog to see their delicious fruity creations!!!

Have a wonderful day and I hope you have a chance to play along with us!!! Hugs ~S~

MTME July Sneak Peeks started!!!

Hello again and happy Tuesday!!!

I have two post today....if you are looking for my Flourishes card please click HERE!!!

WOW can you believe June is almost over....but the good news is we are starting the new MTME July Sneak Peeks!!! Lauren has created some fabulous new ideas and I hope you'll follow along the next few days!!! All templates, stamp sets and digi papers will be available for purchase on July 1st over at the MTME Store!!!

Dawn and Geny have a card to show you. Lauren, Katie, Tracey and I are showing off the new the Flapper © Pretty Packaging Template and the new Killer Curves © Stamp Set. I love this new gift box...I know I will use it over and over again!!! I actually made todays project for my sweet friend who's birthday is coming up in a few days!!!

The base of my card was created with the Scallop Bottom from the Flapper © Pretty Packaging Template. Before I added the Yellow CS I inked the Silhouette Flowers along the bottom using Memento Black Ink. This flower image and 3 more are included in the new Killer Curves © Stamp Set !!!  I inked the Killer Curve image in Memento Black and layered it onto Black CS that I cut out with the Killer Curves © Accent File. The birthday sentiment I added is from the So Sentimental © Set. I finished the card off with some Silver Pearls and the Black Satin Ribbon.

Of course I wanted the box to match... and before I adhered it all together I again inked the sweet Silhouette Flowers around the bottom of the entire box. The lid was scored and I added another image from the new Killer Curves © Stamp Set. The sentiment inside is from the Just For You © Set. Again, I embellished the box with some Silver Pearls and the Black Satin Ribbon!!!

Hope you like this little sneak peek???

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!!! Hugs ~S~

C4C43, IC238 Thank You

Happy weekend everyone!!!

Hope you have something fun planned??? We'll be relaxing this weekend!!! I'm still trying to get caught up on laundry, cleaning and all the other fun things you can think off :)!!! We invited some friend over for the afternoon and if it doesn't rain will hang out at the pool!!!

We are a bit off schedule these days and with the scorching heat I always love to take a nice afternoon nappy...LOL!!! No wonder we are off schedule right!?! Anyway, it's after midnight and I'm right awake..so what a girl suppose to do....stamp of course...wahooo!!!

I used the awesome layout from the C4C43 Sketch (I flipped it sideways) and combined it with the IC238 ~ The Bicycle Muse. I was inspired by the color of THIS purple helmet.

The gorgeous hydrangea is from the new Hostess Level I Set that will be available in the new SU catalog...isn't it gorgeous!?! My sweet SU friend was kind enough to let me ink some images up so I could color them!!!

I inked the image in Memento Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ V15, V17, V09, G21, G24 and Colorless Blender. I added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter to it. The DP is from the BasicGrey Kioshi Collection. My White CS was scored and the Lavender Silk Ribbon is from this store!!! I finished the card off with a matching Button, some Scrapper's Floss and the Silver Pearls!!!

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by today!!! Hugs ~S~

They always love to mess with Sarah's stuff....what can I say she is the coolest older sister...LOL!!! I hope this move will bring more peace for my sanity around here..LOL..okay at least I'm wishfull thinking :) !!!

I had a chance to play some more with my super sweet PI image called Lollipop Girl from MFT. I used the layout from Mercy's MTSC79 Sketch. These soft colors are from the CTD98 ~ using Blush Blossom, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. I'm also submitting this cutie for the MTF WSC Challenge ~ using Cork or Felt.

The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with these Copic Markers ~ E00, E000, YR01, G24, E47, R30 and Colorless Blender. The Dotted Embossing Folder is from QuicKutz. I added some Mellow Moss Ribbon, a White Felt Flower and a matching Button. Curtain Call #35, SSSC74 Happy Birthday

Howdy friend!!!

I'm trying to get my mojo back since I haven't stamped in over a week!!!

I thought I'd take it easy and tried my luck with the SSSC74 Sketch. I combined it with the Curtain Call Act #35 Color Combo ~ using Green Galore, Garden Green, Tempting Turquoise and Cameo Coral.

I used the beautiful SU Watercolor Trio Set. The Design Paper is from the SU Pink Flamingo Collection. The leaves and the flowers were randomly inked with the required colors. Next I bedazzled the image with some Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

Here is a tip....if you love Cameo Coral and you are looking for some matching Ribbon... the Papertrey Ink color *Berry Sorbet* is a perfect match!!! Matter of fact I'm using the Berry Sorbet Topnotch Twill Ribbon on my card!!! At last I added the Filigree Brad and some Silver Pearls

My first card is for today's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC71 Challenge!!! Our host is Cindy Haffner and she is challenging us to *EMBOSSING*. There are a lot of different types of embossing options to choose from, such as heat, stencil, plates, folders, scoring, textured die cuts, and more. In addition, there are many different techniques to combined with embossing. You can also use anything from vellum, clear cardstock, or other textures for your embossed projects. We would love to see what you all create!!!

This is the card I made last week already, when I confused the challenges...oops!!! I used the fab layout from last weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch # 72 ( I flipped it)!!! The super gorgeous blossom and sentiment is from the Cherry Blossoms Set. I inked both in Versamark and heat embossed them with Black Embossing Powder. I colored the blossom with various Copic MarkersR000, R00, Y15, G24 and Colorless Blender. The white panel was dry embossed with the Linen & Canvas Impression Template. My second card is for this weeks CAS71 ~ Things That Fly and this weeks FS175 - LeAnne Pugliese. Congrats LeAnne...your gallery and blog are filled with so many gorgeous creations and I chose to case this CAS card. I switched the layout to this weeks Sweet Sweet Sunday Sketch #73.

I changed the image to the fabulous newly released Humming Along Set....isn't it fabulous!?! The colors were changed to Green and Red. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers ~ R27, R29, R000, YR91, Y17, B35, G00, G21, G24 and Colorless Blender. I added some scoring to the Green CS, a double tied Red/White Checker Ribbon and some Silver Pearl on the side.

The dark blue Design Paper in the background is from this Pink Paislee Collection. The second panel of the Sketch was scored and I added some Silver Pearls on each of the corners. I have two fun MTME projects to share with you!!! This is a longer post so hang in there!!!

My first idea is with the Jam Packed © Template and the Well Preserved © Stamp Set, as well as the
A Spot of Tea © Stamp Set.

The card base on the box and card are Textured White and Red CS. After cutting out all the templates for the box I started out punching the edges of the the lid using the SU Scallop Trim Border Punch. Next I put the box together and decorated it with the Red Riding Hood Striped Ribbon, a matching Button and some Red Scrap Floss. At last I added the *tag* which was inked in Memento Black and embellished it with Silver Pearls.

For my matching card I embossed the Green CS with the Dotted Cuttlebug Folder. The main image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers - R27 and G21. All the strawberry images were inked in Real Red and the stem was inked in Wild Wasabi. Isn't it tooooo stinkin' cute?!?

**********************************************

My second idea was created with the Well Preserved © Stamp Set and the Just For You © Stamp Set.

The jar was embellished with some Cotton Lace, the Label which I pierced along the inner frame and some Silver Brads on the sides. The fabulous Digi Paper in the background is from the Preserve It © Lemons and Raspberries Collection. Just in case you did not know the super talented Sara Williams designed this Collection and many more in the MTME Store!!!

My matching card was embellished with the same sweet Digi Paper. Again I embellished it with the same Lace Ribbon and I added some Silver Pearls in the punched corners. The main image on the card was created with the two different sets I have listed on top. I punched them out with the 1 1/4" and the 1 3/8" Punches plus the Scalloped Circle Punch an the end. Each layer was raised with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Thank you for sticking with me to the end!!! Hope you like these ideas!?!?
