FTTC94 Let it Snow!

Happy Tuesday!!!

I hate to say it but it is way tooooo warm here in Georgia for some snow. Our temperatures are in the upper 70's and today it suppose to be in the low 80's. Please don't hate me....LOL!!! On the flip side, we never really have that *holiday* feeling around here because the temperatures are too warm. I'm not sure which way I like it better!?!

I'm enjoying my few days off so far...I took Rebecca and Mimi to see *Disney on Ice* on Sunday!!! They loved it!!! With Thanksgiving celebrations in a few days I have lots to do and I want my house to be sparkly clean :) !!! So somewhere in between all the cleaning I found some time to make my card for today's Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC94! Cindy is our host today and she is challenging us to an awesome Sketch!!! As always, you can change the dimensions to your liking, but at the end it still should look like the Sketch.

I created a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card to fit my super cute snowman image from the Flouirshes Warm Winter Wishes Set.

The colors for my card were inspired by this weeks CR84FN5.

The DP in the background is from the SU Deck the Halls Collection. I also added some snowflake embossing with the SU Northern Flurry Folder. The snowflurries and the snowman were inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ C2, E27, E35, E37, YR0000, R37 and YR07. The edges were ink distressed. The card was also embellished with some Brown Crochet Ribbon and some Brown Satin Ribbon. At last I added a Gold Beaded Cord, a matching Red Button and lots of Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

Now it's time to hop on over to my fabbo team mates for their take on this weeks Sketch ~ Barbara, Betty (will be a bit late), Cindy, Dee and Maki's !!!

Thank you for stopping by today. Have fun making a card and I'll see you soon!!! Hugs ~S~

Curtain Call Act 56 Birthday Wishes

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

We are having fabulous fall weather down here in Georgia. It's in the lower 60's during the day and it cooling off pretty quickly once the sun is setting. Nevertheless we are enjoying these beautiful sunny days!

I was mentioning in my previous post that the Ledlow girls planned on making their *1st Gingerbread House* EVER this weekend and they DID!!! The girls had soooooooo much fun and I'm happy to show you their sweet creation right after I show you my Curtain Call card!!!

Stacey challenged us to another gorgeous Color Combo Act 56...here it is!!!

Here is my idea.....

I was in need of a birthday card, since it was my Father-In-Law's birthday yesterday. I totally suck at *masculine* cards and tried my very best not to make it tooooo *girly*!!! Today's colors really help me not to go down that path and I created a more *fall* looking card.

The leaf images are from the PTI Set Leaf Prints. The sentiment is from the PTI Giga Guide Lines Set and it was inked onto the Fillable Frame #5 Die. I added some  Brown Pearls and piercing around the main image and voila my card was done!

Please make sure to check out the ideas the Curtain Call Team has created ~

Christina MacLaren ~ Seaglass & Sentiments
                                     Jean Martin ~ Stampin' Scrapper
Julie Lacey ~ Stamps & Taxes
                                     Laurel Seabrook  ~ Seabrook Designs
                                     Makiko Jones ~ MakInk Studio
                                     Monika Davis ~ M.A.D. Stamper
Piali Biswas ~ Touch of Creation
Stacey Schafer ~ Stacey's Stamping Stage
Teresa Kline  ~ Enjoy the VA Sunshine

and don't forget our wonderful new November Guest DesignerMarlene Peters ~ Hands On.

Okay and now the girls 1st ever *Gingerbread House*.....

I think it turned out super cute, don't you think so??? Can you tell *gingerbread man* had a little accident and broke his leg...LOL?!? I think we definitely have to try another one next year!!! Hope you all get a chance to make one too?!?

Have a great day and I'll see you again on Tuesday!!! Hugs ~Silke~
