FTTC133 Let's play B-I-N-G-O....

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and got spared by the hurrican that blasted up the east coast??? My thoughts and prayers are with the people that got hit and are trying to survive right now!

I have the pleasure of hosting this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC133. I really enjoy playing lots of challenges and one of them is *BINGO*, so I thought we'll try this here at Flourishes this week! I hope you all come out and play along with us.?!?

Please follow the *Bingo rules* ~ select 3 items that are in a straight line, either horizontal, vertical or diagonal and use these on your card/ project. Please mention which row you chose to play!

Here is my idea....

My *Bingo choice* was the first row sideways ~ Prima Flowers, Piercing and Shaped Card! I used the Spellbinder Curved Rectangle Die for my card. I don't know about you but every time I see this sweet Bee My Honey Set it puts a BIG smile on my face :) ...and I just had to ink it up!!! I used Momento Tuxedo Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ RV00, RV02, RV04, BV00, V15, YR11, G21, G24, YR07, E15, E17 and Y15.  Next I added the Doily, Ribbon, Button with matching Scrapper's Floss, the Prima Flowers, Silver Pearls and not to forget the *piercing* on the bottom.

Hope you are having a great start into this new week? I can't believe it's almost the end of the month again....yikes! I must admit I'm ready for some cooler weather :)  and I'm looking forward to September!!!

Believe it or not, it's also time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC132. Cindy is hosting and she has challenged us to create a card with a *SENTIMENT OR VERSE* as a focal point.

Here is my idea....

I went with the beautiful Country Charm Labels Set and the verse is from the Hearts & Flowers Set. The Sketch was inspired by Iwona's Sketchbook Saturday #25 and the colors are again from the CR84FN36 combo.

I decided to add some Corrugated Kraft Box in the background and *ink distressed* the edges with White Ink. Following the Sketch I added a Doily and some Prima Flowers. Next I embellished the card with some Yellow Rhinestone Brads, Chocolate Kaiser Pearls, some Yellow/White Gingham Ribbon., a Button with Brown Scrapper's Floss.

CTD155, ODBDSLC73 It's a Sketch

Hello again!

This is my second post today....

This card is for this weeks ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC73. Chris provided a sketch for us to try and I hope you'll have time to play along?

Here is my take on it.....

I decided to ink up my new goodies from the brand new released Scripture Series 2 and Scrolly Borders Sets (you can also buy them as a bundle). My color inspiration came from this weeks CTD155....loved combining these fun colors.

C4C101 Be still....

My first post is for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C101. We have a fabulous sponsor....

This week we are playing *BINGO*.....you need to select 3 items that are in a straight line, either horizontal, vertical or diagonal and use these on your card/ project.

Here is my take on it.....

I chose the Buttons, Die Cuts and Flowers. The Flourishes Set is called Lenten Rose. I inked the image  in Memento Black and colored it with Copic Markers ~ B0000, BV000, B00, B02, Y15, Y21, YG11, G21, G24, R0000, RV000, R00, R23, R81. I layered the image onto a Scalloped Rectangle Spellbinder Die. The DP is from my old SU stash. I added a punched out MS Border on the bottom and embellished it with some Silver Pearls. I also added some scoring in the background, White SU Ribbon, White Cotton Trim, and two SU Buttons. The card was finished off with the punched out sentiment...voila!

It's time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC131. This week Heather is our hostess and she has cooked up a recipe for us to try ~ the *color pink, 1 button, ribbon, and lace* on your creation. Sounds fun right??? Hope you'll come out and play with us?!?

Here is my idea....

My inspiration started with the awesome layout from the Card Patterns Sketch #128. To compliment the Sketch I decided to use the Many Sentiments Set. I'm also entering this card into this weeks Moxie Fab World ~ Girly & Gutsy.

The DP, punched out Scallop Border, Ribbon and matching Button are from SU. I also added some Lace Trim, a Flower, a Fancy Flourish and some Silver Pearls.

Now it's time to check out all the beautiful ideas the rest of the team had ~ Cindy, Heather, Maki, Tammy, Betty, Beate, and our August Guest Designer Allison Cope.

Today,  I'm excited to share a card I made with the brand new Our Daily Bread Designs release, the customer favorites Scripture Series 2!!! As part of our third year anniversary celebration, customers submitted their favorite Scriptures that they would like to use on a card, and after much thought the winners were chosen and made into this *Special Edition* Set.

Here was my idea.....

My inspiration for this card came from two different places.....the Sketch is from my friend Iwona's Sketchbook Challenge and the colors are from my friend Mona's CR84FN36 color combo. Got to love those ladies :) !!!

Can you believe we have reached almost the mid of the month again??? How can this be....??? Since it's Saturday again, I have the pleasure of showing you a new card!!! This weeks Crazy 4 Challenges is celebrating their 100th Challenge...yeah...and we are challenging you to *Monochromatic Coloring*.
Make sure to swing by the  C4C Blog to read all about this challenge and to see all the beautiful designs the *Crazies* have waiting for you.

Next, is this weeks ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC72....we want you to *ADD A TAG*. We don't want to see just a tag, we want to see a tag added to your card or 3D project.

I inked up a new set that I received a couple of days ago....the beautiful Serve the Lord. Of course I used the matching Crocheted Circle Die with it :) !!! The image itself was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ YR0000, E25, E27. My corrugated background was *edge distressed* with a White Ink Pad. The rest of my card was embellished with a tag, ribbon, bling, antique brad and the sentiment.

FTTC130 It's getting fruity around here...LOL!!!

Howdy friends!

Can't believe another week has just flown by.....and it's time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC130. Tammy is our hostess and has challenged us to get fruity...LOL!!! Please use *images or paper with fruit* in your design!

With today's challenge we have the pleasure of *sneak peeking* a fun set for this month release. The sweet set we are featuring is called Wild for Watermelon. Isn't it delicious??? As you can tell I opted for a CAS design....I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with these Copic Markers ~ YG11, G24, R24, R32, YR000, YR01 and Colorless Blender. The background was embossed with the PTI Linen Impression Plate. Next I finished the card off with some matching Ribbon, Scrapper's Floss, Button and Silver Pearls.

C4C99, ODBDSLC71 Sewn with Love.....

Happy weekend everyone!

Hope you are having some fun plans??? It's super hot here in the South and I think I will stamp my little heart out today, since it's impossible to be outside!!! I hate to say it but I'm ready for some cooler temps...LOL!!!

I'm happy to be on my *regular* stampin' schedule again with the Crazy 4 Challenges and the ODBD Shining Light Challenge. I surely missed hanging out with all my friends!!!

My card today, features both challenges....first the C4C99 ~ Create a *Shaped Card*. Second, the ODBDSLC71 ~ *Notions or think Seamstress*. Think seamstress (stitching, buttons, seam binding, pins etc.) You can create any project you like as long as it follows the theme. Adding only Ribbons, lace or lace or ribbon bows does not count.

I decided to use the Spellbinder Dies ~ Label 18,  Standard LG Circle and Blossom for my design. The beautiful quote is from the brand spankin' new August Release Set called ~ Sewn with Love. I added some *faux stitching* to my Kraft CS using a White Gel Pen. Next I embellished my card with some Lace Trim, the Red/White Gingham Ribbon, a Button with some Scrapper's Floss, a Flower Button with a Silver Pearl, some Prima Flowers and the two Heart Pins.

FTTC129 Flowers, Flowers everywhere....

Happy Tuesday you all!

I'm one happy camper, because my girls are finally back to school...YEAH! I love having my life back and I'm glad my girls are back to a structured scheduled...LOL! I'm also continuing my regular stampin' schedule for C4C and ODBD. I also excited showing off another card on Thursday...so stay tuned!!!

Today, I'm back with the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC129. Betty is our hostess and she is challenging to create a card/project with your*FAVORITE FLOWERS* or *FLOWER*.

Here are my ideas.....

For my first card I used the beautiful Zinnias Set. My flower image was inked in Memento London Fog and colored with these Copic Markers ~ BV000, BV00, V15, C2, YG11, G21, G24 and RV000. As you can tell I added some scoring in the background. My inspiration for this card came from the awesome Paper Players Sketch #57 and the colors are from the CR84FN35 combo....did someone say lavender :) ...yeah?!?
                                              

 

             To compliment the sketch I added the PTI Edge Collection #2. Some Lavender Moon Ribbon, a Button, Silver Pearls and some matching Scrapper's Floss.

Next is my card for this weeks Card Pattern Sketch #126 and you guessed it right I had to use the CR84FN35 colors again...did I mention I really like them...LOL?!?

Here is my take on it......................  

For this card I used the beautiful sentiment from the Zinnias Set...can you tell this Set has it all...beautiful flowers and quotes!!!  I added some scoring in the background and embellished the card with some fabbo Flowers, Design Paper, Spellbinder Die, Silver Pearls, Lavender Moon Ribbon, Button, Scrapper's Floss, a punched out MS Flower Border & Butterfly.
