C4C107 Happy World Card Making Day....

Happy weekend everyone!

Thank you all so much for the sweet comments you left for Sarah and me on her pageant photos :) !!! She loved reading them.....and you all are right.... she looks just like me :).  I always tease her and tell her she has my beauty and her daddy's brain...awesome combo if you ask me...LOL!!!

Anyway, I hope you all are enjoying today's *World Card Making Day*? I know I'll be crafting in the late afternoon. If you have not decided which route to take then how about playing this weeks Crazy 4 Challenge ~ C4C107??? Tammy is our hostess and she has challenged us to create a card that can be send to Operation Write Home. You can read a little bit more info on the C4C blog.

Here are my ideas......

I received a few need stampin' goodies and decided to make some *CASE* cards. My first card was created with a new Halloween Set from Stampin' Up called *Out on a Limb*...isn't it cute??? I inked the images in Memento Black Tuxedo and colored them with Copic Markers. Next I added some Dazzling Glitter Glue and the sentiment. 

My second card......

was created with the sweet PI image called Sunflower Girl from MFT. Again, I inked the image in Memento Black and colored it with Copic Markers. I added a little bit of the Glitter Glue in the center of the flower and stamped the sentiment on the side....voila....quick and easy!

Happy Thursday you all!

Can't believe this month is almost over.....as promised I have some pageant photos for you guys.
Unfortunately the lighting in the show room was very dark and some of my photos are not as great as I hoped for, but here are the ones that did turned out okay :) !!!

Hope you like them??? If you feel like it leave some love for my baby..... Sarah loves to read your comments!!!

FTTC137, WMS66 Holiday Ideas.....

Hello my everyone!

Hope you all had a chance to relax this weekend? As you know our weekend was busy :) !!! Sarah had a fabulous time at her first pageant and even though she did not win anything, it was definitely a wonderful experience for her and for me. This year they had the most contestance ever in Sarah's age group (16 girls)and of course it was tough to compete...nevertheless she had a blast! I didn't get a chance to edit my photos yet, but I hope by Thursday I'll have a chance to post them!

Today marks a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC137. Tammy is our hostess this week and she is challenging us to create something for the holiday table! Anything goes... place cards, napkin rings, candles, table favors, decorations... let your creativity loose!

Here is my idea....

I went for the *Place Card*, *Table Favors* and a *Thank You* card. For my projects today I used two different Stamp Sets ~ Falling Leaves and A Season of Thanks. As you can tell, I've kept this design very simple....I wish I would have had time to set the table and place my ideas they way I had invisioned them, well hopefully next time :) !!! For my card I used the Spellbinder Beaded Circle Die and added another layer of a Circled Die, which I scored to follow the awesome WMS66 Sketch. I embellished my card with a cut out leaf, Silver Pearls and a Button.

Next, is my *Place Card*....I simple stamped the leave image and added the sentiment. My *Pillow Box* was created with the Sizzix Die. I stamped the smaller leave image all over and embellished the rest with a matching Satin Ribbon, Silver Pearls and the punched out sentiment.

ODBDSLC78 I am the Way......

Happy weekend everyone!

Hope you had a good head start into your weekend? Ours will be busy with a football game, volleyball games and my oldest daughters first *beauty pageant*. Yep, we are exploring the world of becoming *Miss Universe*....keep your fingers crossed :) !!! I will post photo's this upcoming week.

My card today is for this weeks ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC78. The challenge this week is to create a card/project with a *SCRIPTURE OR QUOTE* as the focal point.

I decided to use one of my all time favorite Bible Verse John 14:6 from the I am the Way Set. I framed it with a template I received a while back...sorry not sure what store :( . I embellished my card with some PTI Design Paper, Silver Pearls and Flowers. I also added some *Faux Stitching* , some *Edge & Ink Distressing* as well.

Before I forget....the layout of my card was inspired by this beautiful Tuesday Mornings Sketch #112.

Happy Tuesday!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend? Ours was AWESOME! Our GSU Volleyball team won the *Bash in the Boro's* tournament...YEAH!!! GO EAGLES! The last game was pretty nerve wrackin', but at the end we won. Super cool!

Anyway, the time has flown once again it's a new theme at the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC136. My buddy Betty is hosting and she has challenged us to *ALL DOLLED UP*. We are playing dress up and going all girly with ribbons and bows, pearls & glitz and of course anything else that is girly!!!

I decided to ink up the brand spanking' new Feminine Charm Set. Isn't it gorgeous...and definitely super girly :) ?!? The DP is from my SU stash and I added  *distressed* the edges and added some *faux stitching* as well as some Pearl Flourish. Next I added the doily...gosh I love these things....added the tag with  some *scoring* and the main image, the Ribbon, Flower, some Silver Pearls as the necklace and not to forget all the extra Kaiser Pearls on the corners.

My idea for this design came again from the CR84FN38 color combo...check it out right here...

C4C105, ODBDSLC77 Seed Packet

Happy weekend everyone!

Hope you all have something fun planned??? We are spending ours watching GSU playing Volleyball...yeah GO EAGLES!!!

Here is what I created.....

My creation has some *pumpkin squash seeds* inside the water can. I will give this little gift to my neighbor, she definitely has a green thumb and she is super sweet :) !!! My card features the ODBD Seed Packet Set. My water can was created with THIS template....isn't it awesome??? I embellished my water can with some *scoring*, Lace Ribbon, Gingham Ribbon with Antique Brad, Flowers, Leaves and Silver Pearls. Hope you like it???

I had soooooo much fun trying Adela's templates I just had to make another one :) !!!

I again used the ODBD Seed Packet Set for my card. This time I played with the 3-Pocket Caddy template. Each project was created with my Cricut Cutting Machine using the SVG.file...so easy to put together!!!

As you can tell I embellished my caddy with some Lace Trim, Flowers, Leaves, MFT Fancy Flourish and I added some Silver Pearls to my card...voila!

It's time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC135. Beate is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to create a *SHAPED CARD*.....fun, fun, fun!!!!

Here is my idea...

The shape of my card was created with the Beaded Circles Spellbinder Die. The sentiment was framed with the Country Charm Labels. The sentiment itself  from the Flip ~ With Gratitude Set....find out how you can get this fabbo Set right HERE.  I added another layer and decided to add some *scoring* on the left side for more interest. Next I added the Lace Ribbon and the SU Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon, the SU Antique Brad, the Prima Flowers and the Silver Pearls around the outside...voila!

My color inspiration for this card came from this weeks CR84FN38...check them out!
