C4C111, Mojo212, ODBDSLC82, HOPE......

Happy weekend everyone!

Life has been busy here at the Ledlow household! I'm so looking forward to this weekend :) .

We have a fun ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC82 going on...the challenge this week is to create a *PINK* card/project. Please make sure to swing by the ODBD blog to read all the details and don't forget to check out the rest of the team ~ Sabrina, Francie, Lori, Pat, Chris and our October Guest Designer Sue Worthington.

My card today is for a wonderful cause....Breast Cancer Awareness. If you have not had your Mammogram this year I strongly encourage you to see your doctor or at least examine yourself! Early detection is EVERYTHING and YES THEIR IS HOPE & HELP IF YOU FIND A LUMP EARLY!!!!

With that said, I would like to point out that the Our Daily Bread Designs Store carries two fabulous Sets that you can purchase for the *Pink Ribbon Month*. The image on my card is from the Hope Set and we have a brand new Set called  Praying for a Cure that you can purchase now or buy the Combo!!!!

My card & candy was created with some Pink Polka Dotted DP is from SU and I combined with with some Black SU CS, Pink Hero Arts Rhinestones, Pink Scrapper's Floss, Pink Satin Ribbon, PTI Tags & Button, and Pink Prima Flowers. The image itself was colored with the R000, R00 and R02 Copic Markers....voila! The layout was inspired by this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch #212.

Happy Timeless Tuesday!

We have a new challenge for you....this week Maki is hosting and she has challenged us to to add *TREE  & LEAVES ~ use a tree/leave image(s)/element*!!!

I stamped the sweet image from the new A Season of Celebrations Set with Memento Black and colored the bulbs and the girls dress with the Y08 Copic Marker. Next I embellished the card with some old Christmas DP from BoBunny, some Gray Satin Ribbon with Button, Dazzling Diamond Glitter, Prima Flower with a MFT Flourish and Silver Pearls.

My color inspiration for this card came from this weeks CR84FN41.....

ODBDSLC81 Christmas Rose and C4C110 Merry Christmas

Happy weekend everyone!

I have two cards for you....first is this weeks ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC81. Chris has challenged us to add at least 3 different shapes on our card.

I chose to add square, rectangle and circle shapes. The beautiful image is from this month new released Christmas Rose Set. I inked the image in Memento Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ Y08, Y21, R14, R17, YG11, G21and Colorless Blender. The DP is from the BasicGrey Nordic Holiday Collection. I added a circled doily behind the image and embellished the card with some SU Striped Ribbon, matching SU Botton with some Red Sparkly String, Dazzling Diamond Glitter,  a Scalloped Border on the side and the punched out sentiment with the Silver Pearls.

My second card is for this weeks Crazy for Challenges ~ C4C110. The challenge this week is to create a *ONE LAYER CARD*. Only exception is cutting out an images and/or adding one Die Cut embellishment.

I again used a beautiful ODBD Christmas Set called Worship the Lord. I inked it in Memento Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ R14, YG11, G21, YG91. As you can tell I added lots of sparkles and a Red SU Ribbon...voila.

FTTC140 Happy Halloween....

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend? My girls are on fall break and I took yesterday off. The girls and I decided to head down to Tybee beach and enjoyed a gorgeous afternoon walking on the beach, collecting seashells and played volleyball. It was so nice and rejuvenating....I think I need another week off....*wink*!!!

Anyway, I'm excited to be hosting this weeks Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC140. With Halloween right around the corner I figured it would be fun to challenge everyone to create a *Halloween* card/project or both.

Here is what I came up with....

I created my card and gift bag with the fun Witching You a Happy Halloween Set. The pumpkins and hat image were inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ Y08, YR02, YR04, C0, C1, C2, C3, C5 and Colorless Blender. I have to give the fabulous Leslie Miller credit for the fun pumpkin/hat idea. I saw it on Leslie's card HERE....I thought it was tooooo stinkin' cute and had to try it too. The *hair* was punched out with a MS Leave Punch and I also added a little Black Kaiser Rhinestone in the center of the hat. The bag was created with the PTI Favor Box #6 and I added some matching Tissue Paper. The rest of my card & bag were embellished with *black ink distressing*, some new SU Halloween DP, Black Satin Ribbon, Buttons, Scrapper's Floss and the punched out MS Spiderweb Border.

ODBDSLC80 Rejoice and C4C Winter Wishes.....

Hello everyone!

May I just say I'm happy its weekend :) ...it's been a long and busy week !!! I'm looking forward to
sleeping in! How about you??

Today I have two cards for you....when I started writing my blog post I realized I didn't make the right card for the C4C Challenge...as you know, I like to combine my C4C & ODBD challenges, but this time I couldn't. Anyway, I frantically made a second one :) !!!

Let me start out with my first card....it is for this weeks ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC80. It's all about making *HOLIDAY CARDS*, but it comes with a twist...you MUST use a ODBD Stamp Set.

Here is my idea......

I decided to use the beautiful ODBD Set *His Gift*. It's so pretty with the Gold heat embossing. The DP in the background is from the BoBunny Father Christmas Collection. I matched it up with some Gold Ribbon, Button & Gold String, Gold Pearls and a punched out border on the side. The sentiment is from another beautiful ODBD Christmas *Worship the Lord*.

My second card is for the C4C109 Challenge. The challenge this week is to create something for the upcoming holidays and you need to incorporate some *Heat Embossing*. Here is where I went wrong...LOL...we have a sponsor.....this month's we are featuring Outlines Rubber Stamps. Please make sure to swing by the C4C blog to see all the details.

You all know I'm a sucker for *snowmen* ...LOL....and I chose to show off the fun Jolly, Happy Soul. The image was inked in Versamark and *heat embossed* with Black EP. Next, I started coloring the snowman with Copic Markers and bedazzled it with Dazzling Diamond Glitter. I finished the card off with the Striped Ribbon, Button, Silver String and Silver Pearls.

ODBDSLC79, JUGS49, CQC105 Seed of Friendship...

It's time for a new ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC79. This weeks challenge is to create your own embellishment.

I created my own ribbon flower with some Cotton Trim from Walmart. I simply pulled & sewed the middle together and added a SU Antique Brad in the center...voila! 

Here is how my card came together. I really liked the beautiful JUGS104 Anniversary Sketch and the color inspiration came from this weeks Color Q #105.

The sentiment I used on the card is from the ODBD The Good Seed Set. The pretty DP in the background is from the BasicGrey Indie Bloom Collection. I also added some pretty flourished ZVA Pearls in the background, a punched out border on the bottom and on the side. Plus some Brown Satin Ribbon, Button, Scrapper's Floss and some larger Halfback Pearls.

FTTC138 Inspiration......

Happy Tuesday and happy October!

The temperatures have nicely cooled off here in the South....love that it smells and feels like *Fall* is in the air!

So, what did you all do this weekend??? We went to a birthday party and relaxed the rest of the time...I actually napped a lot, I think the *fresh* air got to me...LOL!

I did get a chance to stamp for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC138. My sweet friend Heather is the hostess and she is challenging us with this beautiful *Fall* inspiration photo.

The colors are definitely my favorite....I miss the beautiful *Indian Summers* we used to have in Michigan. It always reminded me of how beautiful God made this world!

Here is my take on it....

I went with the Flourishes Sunflowers and the A Season of Thanks Set...because it complimented Iwona's awesome Sketchbook #131 layout.

The image was inked in Memento Rich Cocoa and colored with these Copic Markers ~ YR02, YR07, R27, Y15, Y21, E37 and Colorless Blender. I added some corrugated cardboard and *ink distressed* the edges with some White Ink. I embellished the rest of the card with a doily, some Ribbon, Antique Brad, Glitter and some Large Halfback Pearls.
