Today is a happy Tuesday indeed - my super duper awesome hubby Jerry and I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary!!! WAHOOOOOOO!!!
WOW - I can't believe 15 years have flown by that fast....and all I can say is - "I could not have asked for a better supportive husband and father for our three girls"!!! I love him so much and I thank the Lord everyday that he blessed me with him!!!
Check back with me....I'll be celebrating this event.....I simply ran out of time for this post, but I'll have something fun posted by Thursday :) hmmmm what could it be???
Anyway - today is another fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge !!! Our host is Kimberly Crawford and she is challenging us to add some *framing* to our card/project!!! Love it!!! Now, frames can be something as simple as adding a matt to the main image to "frame" it out, or adding some marker detailing around the main image to create a doodle frame or faux layered frame. In addition to these, you can create your own frames with spellbinder die cut shapes using different materials. There are also ready made frames that you may have to add to your card. Whichever type of frame you choose, we would love to see what you create!!!
I went back in time and found this awesome Sketch from Jen del Muro's.For my card I used the Flourishes Set - Sweet Peas.
I inked the image in Memento Black and colored it with Prisma Markers - Carmine Red PM-6 and Green Tea PM-197.
The Designer Paper & Ribbon is Berry Sorbet from PTI. I ran the Kraft CS through the Cuttlebug using the Swirl Folder. Of course I had to add those awesome Silver Pearls again :) !!! At the end I added the sentiment using the Spellbinder Ribbon Tags Trio - which is available at the
Flourishes store!!!Please make sure to stop by the Flourishes Blog to see all the Samples and on how you can play along plus more sales!!! Don't forget to use the keyword *FTTC18* when you download your cards/projects over on SCS!!!
Check out - Betty, Connie, Cindy and Dee's blog!!! Have fun playing along!!!
