CR84FN22 SOME EXCITING NEWS!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!

As I mentioned yesterday, April is a fun stampin' month for me. I have a few new gigs coming up and today I'm thrilled to share that I'm this months Guest Designer for Mona Pendleton's fabulous Color Challenge *CR84FN* ....YEAH!!! I'm so excited to hang out with the entire team and I know if you haven't meet them yet, you will love them as much as I do!!!

Today's colors are again just fabulous...CHECK THEM OUT!!!

Here is my take on it...

I was in need of a *thank you* card and I used the sentiment from the beautiful Flouirshes Many Sentiment Set. The DP in the backgroud is from the Prima Madeline Collection. My flowers were created with the awesome MFT Small Rolled Rose Die (sold out right now). I decided to *distress* and *ink distress* the edges a bit. Next I embellished the my card with some Brown Satin Ribbon, some Cotton Lace, a MS Butterfly and some Silver Pearls.

ODBDSLC55, C4C81 Sing to the Lord....and more!!!

Hope you are having a good one so far? I'll be chillin' this weekend...and finally enjoying some nice weather again!!! I'm excited to tell you that April is gonna be a fun stampin' month for me and you will see some of the exciting news starting tomorrow!

Today starts a new challenge month over at the Crazy for Challenge blog. Silke Kittman is hosting and she has a fun Sketch for you to try this week. Make sure to swing by the C4C81 post to see all the cards the Crazies have made :) !!!

My card also features the ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC55. This weeks challenge is to *Use a bird image, punched bird, or birds on your designer paper*. Have fun playing!

Here is my take on both challenges.....

I used the beautiful Sing to the Lord Set. This was actually one of my very first ODBD Sets I bought and fell in love with....definitely an oldtime favorite!!! The Psalm was inked onto a Spellbinder Die. The DP is from the old SU Groovy Guava Collection. The image itself was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ B0000, B00, B02, Y19, YR000, YR00, YR02, YR12. The Border was created with a MS Punch. I added a round doily in the background. The rest of my card was embellished with some scoring, some matching Groovy Guava Ribbon, Glitter, a Button, Silver Pearls and some Silver Cord.
