Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC49!!!

Oh happy day......

Today is my turn to host the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge - FTTC49 - wahooo!!! I created this Sketch for you and I hope you come out and play along with us!!!

The Sketch is pretty straight forward.....you can flip it, stretch it, dress it up.....however at the end it should still look like this layout!!! Can't wait to see what you all created!?!

Here is my take on it.....

I used the A Year in Flowers Calendar Set 3 and for the inside the Many Sentiments Set. The theme for my card was inspired by this weeks C4C19 - creating a *Birthday* card.

The flower images were inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers - Dahlia, Hollyhock, Holly Collections. The Euphoria Design Paper is also available at the Flourishes Store.

The card was finished off by adding the Small Silver Pearls, the Satin Ribbon and the Button. Hope you like it???

Please stop by Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki's blog to see their take on the Sketch!!!!

It is Celebration Time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenges! The week of February 2-8, 2010 marks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday's ONE Year Anniversary! Happy weekend everyone!!!

Jocelyn has challenged us to another fun OCC Challenge...it's all about creating a 3D card or project!!! You can choose to construct something out of paper or alter something like a box, jar...whatever strikes your fancy....just have fun!!!

I decided to make a card creating a 3D look and a matching pillow box.....I hardly use my Sizzix Big Dies anymore :( and thought it would be perfect for today's Challenge.

As always I love to be inspired by the SCS Inspiration Challenges and today I used the IC214 - Groovy Inclinations.  When I saw this print I thought of the God's Beauty Set from Stampin' Up....I know weird - huh?!? I did change the colors to this weeks Color Throwdown # 74 - using Rose Red, Chocolate Chip and Dusty Durango. I also added some Certainly Celery. The layout is from this weeks MTSC55 Sketch (I flipped it).

Please make sure to stop by the OCC Blog to see all the Samples!!!

Have a great weekend!!!

Michelle was so sweet and inked me up some of the Brimming with Love images and I couldn't resist coloring one of them today.

I actually made this card for the CAS48 - Happy Valentine Challenge and the layout was inspired by this weeks awesome MMSC35 Sketch.

As you can tell my card is pretty straight forward....the senitment was created with the JustRite Times Roman Font Set. The image was inked in Memento Black and I colored it with several different Copic Markers. I embossed the Real Red CS with the Heart Block Cuttlebug Folder. I finished the card off by adding the Red Scrap Floss, the Pink Flower and the Red Gemstones.

Hope you like it???

CBC82 For All You Do, CC252 Treemendous

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

I have two cards to share with you today!!!

First up -  my sweet blogging friend Robin Kirkpatrick invited me to be a Guest Designer for today's Belli Challenge - CBC82. Thank you Robin for inviting me!!!

The Challenge is all about adding *Glitter and Rhinestones* to your card or project...how could I have said no to this awesome Challenge - right?!?

Here is my take on it......

I couldn't help myself but to use the awesome SU Set - For All You Do again :).  If you missed the cards I've made with  this Set then click HERE and HERE.

The colors were inspired by a color combo from the SU Catalog - Real Red, Crushed Curry and Basic Gray. Aren't they fun together???

I added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter and Silver Pearls to the flower petals and the embossed
butterfly. Hope you like it???

Please make sure to check the creative Belli Challenge Design Team - AnneCeal, ChrisDebbie, FernHolly, JennyJoan, Robin and Steph.

Hope you all join us in playing this fun Challenge?!? Have fun!!!

*****************************************

My second card was created  for yesterday's CC252 - using Bermuda Bay, Certainly Celery, Handsome Hunter.  The dessert option was to add Pink in any other form then using Cardstock!!!

These were some really tough colors, but I really like how they look together!!! Betty just knows how to mix them up!!!

I used a this cute Treemendous Stamp Set from There She Goes.

The tree itself was inked in  Handsome Hunter. The little flowers were inked randomly with the CC colors and  I added some small Silver Pearls in the center. To finish the card off I added the Melon Mambo Ribbon with a White Button and Pink Scrap Floss. Voila!!!

Hope you get a chance to try these awesome colors yourself!?!?

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by today!!!
