*Little Paper Shop's* Sneak Preview!!

Happy TGIF!!!

Today *Little Paper Shop* is kicking off the October Sneak Preview!!! Julia will release *4* beautiful new Sets on October 14th!!! I'm looking forward showing you what I've created - especially since I couldn't play last month!!!

My card measures 3 1/4" x 6 1/2". I used *Little Paper Shop's* WCMD Sketch #2 which you can find right here.

The first Set we are showing today is called *Flyin' By*. I think it's totally cute - I always wanted to have an *owl* and I'm so happy that Julia created this fun Set!!!

About my card - the card base is Whisper White. I added a CB embossed panel using the *Tiny Bubbles* on Really Rust CS. The four squares in the BG are Sage Shadow layered on Chocolate Chip. The owl image was inked up with Chocolate Chip and Sage Shadow. Next I pierced around the image and layered it onto a Really Rust CS that I raised with Stampin Dimensionals before I layered it onto Chocolate Chip CS. The image was also inked in Chocolate Chip and to dress the card up I used the retired CC Poly-Twill Ribbon.

Hope you like it???

Remember you can still enter in the WCMD Sketch Challenges until Saturday - Julia is giving a way prizes - don't miss it!!!

BTW - I have one of each new Stamp Set from September's Release - Christmas Wishes, Global, Little One and Snowflakes - that I'll be giving away for my *40th* Birthday Bash starting next week!!!

SC197 Sorry

Hi you all!!!
I finally had time to play the CC187 - Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss (awesome colors!!!) and the SC197 .

I used the brand spankin' new *Topiary* Set that *Little Paper Shop* released this past weekend!!! Isn't it fabulous??? When I saw today's Sketch I knew I wanted to play along and decided to flip the layout to fit the image!!!

I used these Prismacolors on my image - Dark Brown PM-88, Pale Vermillion PM-14, Limepeel PM-124, Green Tea PM-197 and the Blender Pen. Once you click on the smaller photo you can see how pretty the Glitter Pen looks on the leaves....

The Medium Copper Brads are from Michaels and the Brown Satin Ribbon is from Walmart!!!

BIC26 Forever Friends and A Dream

Happy Tuesday you all!!!

Isn't this one fabulous looking living room Beate has chosen???

Even though it is gorgeous I had a hard time to get inspired.....I think I'm losing my Mojo....!!!

I started making my first card, but wasn't really excited about it.....so I made another card.

I took two different approaches and I'm still not sure which one I like....take a look for yourself!!!

My first card took me into a totally different direction..... - I think it came out to elegant for the cosy Inspiration Piece??? What do you think???

I used the blue pillows as my inspiration. I don't use *blue* a lot so I was very limited on what I could create. I think this was my last sheet from the Night of Navy CS....I had to come up with something simple....

The image is from the newly released *A Dream* Set from *Little Paper Shop* and since I'm behind in showing it off - I thought it would look really great in the center of my card!!!

To dress it up a bit I added some Halfback Pearls and a Hat Pin!!! The Satin Ribbon is also Navy and I bought it at Walmart. Hope you like it???
Here is my second approach on the BIC.....

This time I used the sandy/krafty color looking pillow as my inspiration.

My base card is Kraft CS and I used the gorgeous new SU Set *Beautiful Borders* (pg.132).

The image was inked in Night of Navy. I left enough space on each side so I could pierce. Next I distressed the Whisper White and Night of Navy CS. Below I added another Whisper White CS and tore the bottom before I layered the rest of the panel.

Then I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and added some Clear Rhinestones. All items are SU!!!

Hope you like it??? If you have time - play along!!!

Make sure to check out Beate, Charmaine, Danielle, Dawn, Jennifer and Susan!!! ~TFL~

WCMDWT08, WCMDIC08 Maple Tree

Happy Sunday!!!

I had another idea for the WCMDWT08 using a *tree* image!!!
That's when the WCMDIC08 came in handy....I used the inspiration colors from the *catalog cover* for my tree.

I used Chocolate Chip, Marigold Morning and Whisper White Cardstock. For my Ink I used the retired Spectrum Stampin' Pad *Pumpkin Patch* from SU. Perfect for the IC!!!

The fabulous tree image is from *Innovative Stamp Creations* called *Maple Tree Paintings*.

I inked the tree with the Pad and added some Chocolate Chip Ink to the stem. The sentiment is from the SU Set *Holidays & Wishes* - it was also inked in Chocolate Chip. I added some Mini Gold Brads right below it. Click here to see another card I've made with this Set.
BTW - did you know that *Innovative Stamp Creations* is having monthly challenges you can participate in ??? Read more about the challenges and the awesome *PRIZES* you can win on the ISC Blog!!!

Thank you for stopping by!!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

WCMDFS08 and WSC60 Get Well Soon

Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!

I told ya - I'll be back with another card....

I made this one for the WCMDFS08 and the WCMDWT08 that is going on over on SCS right now!!!

Don't they have some fun, fun Challenges going on today??? If you haven't seen hop on over and check it out!!!
The Way to use it Challenge is about - showing off a tree image....yeahhhh - I got the perfect tree - LOL!!!

Next - the Featured Stamper today is Sherry.
Click right here to find out more!!! I chose to case this card from Sherry.

I flipped the card around and used the new fabulous *Spooky Silhouettes* from *There She Goes* as my main *Halloween* theme!!!

I kept the same fun colors as Sherry - Plum Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Whisper White - I didn't use any DP. Instead of Ribbon I added Purple Brads!!!

Hope you like it???
In honor of this fun, fun day - Julia from *Little Paper Shop* released two brand new Sets today - *Topiary* and *A Dream* plus Julia is discounting all other stamps 20% off!!!!
My card is featuring the *Topiary* Set. I combined it with Beate's wonderful WSC60 Sketch and the fab OCC ladies Challenge to add *Bling on the Bling*.

I made the Sketch into a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card and flipped the layout to fit my image.

I forgot to mention that I also used Kristina Werner's awesome Color Combo #24 - Very Vanilla, Kiwi Kiss, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip. Dont' they look great together???

Anyway - I have scored my background with my new Scor-it and created the *Grid Technique*.

Next I layered the panels according to the Sketch - instead of the bottom long one I added a Satin Ribbon. The Kiwi Kiss panel was pierced in two rows and raised with Stampin Dimensionals. The image itself was inked in Chocolate Chip and colored with Prismacolor Markers. I bedazzled the image with Dazzling Diamond Glitter and added Jumbo Eyelets with Clear Rhinestones. The senitment was also inked with Chocolate Chip Ink and I pierced right below it.
Hope you will be able to stamp all day too??? Come back later to see what else I've come up with?!? Until then ~TFL~......

TECC36 Eat Your Cupcake!!!

Hey you all and TGIF!!!

I'm so thrilled to be Taylor VanBruggen's *Featured Cupcake Sampler* this week!!!
My week started out kind of slow...didn't feel like I had any *Mojo*going - yep - it happens to me too!!! But then I received this wonderful e-mail from Taylor asking me to be the *her* Cupcake girl and I was like a new person - wahhooo!!! Thank you Taylor for making my week!!!
Just realized my card qualifies for today's LSC188 too!!!

Wasn't sure what colors to use at first - so many options - but then I thought I really like the new *In Colors* and I have not had much of a chance to use the *Pacific Point* and I made it my focal point. Click on the picture to see it larger!!!

I started out embossing the Pacific Point CS with my CB *Dotted* folder. For the panel across I used Tangerine Tango and pierced the top and bottom. I raised this panel with Stampin Dimensionals.

The image itself is from the *Inkadinkado* Set called *Birthday Cupcake* I found it the other day at the new opening of our Hobby Lobby store!!! A girl can't have enough Cupcake Stamps - yeahhh - and it came in so handy for the Sketch!!!

I stamped the Cupcakes with Close to Cocoa and colored them with Prismacolor Markers - Pumpkin Orange (matches Tangerine Tango) PM-153, Limepeel (matches Kiwi Kiss) PM-124, Peacock Blue (matches Pacific Point) PM-125 and Colorless Blender. I used a Brown Copic Marker #E47 for the bottom of the Cupcakes plus a Glitter Pen to add some *sparkles*!!! The second, fourth and sixth cupcake are raise with Stampin Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from a *Hero Arts* Cupcake Set. It was inked in Pacific Point Ink and punched out with SU *Circle Punches*.

Hope you like my take on Taylor's Sketch??? Hope you'll find a chance to play along - have a great weekend!!!

WT186, CC186 Butterfly Happiness

Happy day everyone!!!

I love Julia's WT186 Challenge - I have so many beautiful poems and sentiments I could show off, but today I used a new one from Jessica Knutsen *Butterfly Happiness* Collection.

If you are not familiar with Jessica's new line of Stamps - click here and take a look!!! She just had a new Release yesterday!!!

The layout I chose for my card is from Lynda Benden. Isn't she super talented??? I love her creations!!! Here is another card I made with this layout.

Anyway - I also used Jody's beautiful CC186 from Tuesday - Really Rust, Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze!!! I added a panel of DP from Imaginisce - Wicked Whimsy.

I did a little *Faux Stitching* around the sentiment. I added the punched out butterfly from MS and some Silver Pearls.

Hope you like it ~TFL~!!!
