Weigh In Day

My DH was gone for almost 2 weeks and he is finally back.....- thank you Lord for bringing him home safely!!!

Of course it was a little crazy around here at times, but I did not expect anything less - LOL!!!

As you can imagine my diet did not go so well - I realized I'm a "Stress Eater"!!! I hate to say it, but nothing has changed from 2 weeks ago - I'm stuck at 159 pounds...but hopefully I can do better and show some results next week!!!

It's funny I had all those wonderful ideas while my DH was gone, but nothing got accomplished - does that happen to you too???

I know what you are going thru regarding the stress eating. Hello, that is me to a tee. Keep strong. Someone mentioned to me that if you eat your food and say how much you love it and enjoy, you are changing your way of thinking and soon enough you will no longer want to eat cause you are stressed and your portions will become smaller. Also try drinking a glass of water or two when you first wake up. It suppresses the hunger urge. See how that works.

Do not beat yourself up regarding your weight. Your husband loves you for you.

I am a stress eater as well. And then, to make matters worse--I avoid exercise! UGH! Best of luck to you as you continue working towards your goal. Oh, and I ALWAYS think I'm going to get things done and instead, I'm surfing Splitcoast and a variety of blogs!

I am an emotional eater, so I totally understand. Don't be hard on yourself though, it will happen when it is meant to. Good luck, weight loss is one of the hardest battles to fight.
