BIC27 Snowfall

Happy Tuesday!!! It's time for Beate's *Be Inspired* Challenge!!!

Isn't this a pretty scarf??? I really like the beautiful design and colors.

I'm in desperate need of some *Christmas* cards....My friend Mary Fish and I have a little *Challenge* of our own going...we both have to make at least 50 Christmas cards by December, 1st. That way we both have some cards to show off for the holidays - LOL!!! So over the next couple of weeks I'll show you my different *Christmas* designs.
Anyway - today I have made a card that was mainly inspired by the colors of the scarf. I used Pink Pirouette, Purely Pomegranate, Basic Grey and Whisper White CS.

I used the retired SU *Snowfall* Set and the matching Jumbo Stampin' Wheel *Bold Snowflakes* that I unraveled...(another fab idea from my friend Mary Fish). I actually trimmed the individual *Snowflakes* from the Wheel and adhered them to *EZ Mount* - then I stamped them randomly on the Pink Pirouette CS with the same color Ink. Next I embossed the larger Snowflake with Silver EP and distressed the edges. Then I layered the image onto Purely Pomegranate. Before I've layered this panel onto Basic Grey I added a Silver Brad to the right hand bottom corner. I also distressed the edges of the Basic Grey CS. Next I figured out where my Taffeta Basic Grey Ribbon would look best and added the Silver Jumbo Eyelet with the Ribbon. To finish it up I stamped the sentiment in Basic Grey. Voila!!!
Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Make sure to check out the rest of Beate's Team - Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Jennifer Buck, Dawn McVey and Susan Roberts.

Hi Silke:

Love your silver embossed snowflake. The colors are unique and striking for a holiday card.

I think un-mounting some of my wheels has given me so much more stamp versatility. Glad to see you are doing the same.

So who's ahead in in our card challenge? I think I'm at about 8--lots to do, lots to do!

Hugs, M

I so wish SU sold those silver jumbo eyelets!!! Maybe the next catty. Anyway, my post on my blog will appear tomorrow with credits and a link to you! Thanks for sharing your talent and inspiration!!
