OCC Challenge including Stamp Simply #94, IC187 and a BONUS CARD

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!

What a wonderful day to celebrate this amazing country and the proud & brave soldiers who serve and served this country!!!

I don't know if I ever mentioned that my husband served 11 years in the Army?!? Jerry was at VMI (Virginia Military Institute) before he became a Commissioned Officer. Jerry fought in two Combat Zones during his assignment!!! I was always so proud of him doing so plus we met when he severed his first 3 year tour in Germany!!!

The Army gave him so many opportunities and opened so many doors for his future!!! Jerry was selected to a prestige Master's Degree Program in Health Care Administration. On our 2nd tour to Germany he had the opportunity to be in the 1st ever PH.D. Program in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Due to his perfect grades and determination in the Master's Degree he finished his thesis first !!! Well, can you tell I'm a proud wife - LOL?!?

Going back to my card.....This month OCC Challenges are hosted by my sweet, funny and super talented friend Jenny Gropp :)!!! She is challenging us today to use *RED, WHITE AND BLUE* colors on our card/project!!! Please stop by the OCC Blog to see all the samples and to find out all the news!!!!

I also combined my card with the Stamp Simply #94 Challenge - by adding *Stars and Stripes*!!!

I chose the fab Vintage Basket Set from PTI with the *4th of July* theme!!!

Make sure to stop by the OCC ladies to see their creations - Cindy, Jennifer, Vicki, Frances, Loretta, Jenny and Joycelyn.

These are all so perfecty wonderful! Your piercing on the RWB is awesome. Great sentiment on your birthday card and I really like the flower behind the sentiment on the last one. You know I love your style. I was just telling Julie this the other day. She said that we are very similar. Yours I would have to say is a step ahead though. ;0) but I can use that be a goal. hee hee
Tell your DH thank you for his time of service from my family! We appreciate all he did and sacrificed while serving! I think its WONDERFUL that you are so proud and share that so willingly! I hope you have a safe and happy 4th! Hugs...
