Flourishes Timeless Tuesday
Hope you had a wonderful weekend??? We did something fun on Saturday...the girls were invited to a birthday party at a *Pottery Store*. While they crafted their little pottery items...I had a chance to make/design my own *Jewelry* out of specialty glass and clear glass - I designed a ring and some earrings!!! Oh - I can't wait to share it with you this week....I should be able to pick my new creations up on Wednesday - wahooooo!!!
Other than that I was working on some cards......and of course I'm ready to show off my card for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge -FTTC35 today!!!
Since it's the last Tuesday of the month we have a Guest Designer for you. Please welcome Francie Gumprecht (aka *Francie G* on SCS)!!! Welcome Francie and thank you for hosting todays FTTC!!!
Francie is challenging us to *Extend our creations outside the frame*. Whether your want to make a dimensional piece or use subtle cut lines, the look is to go beyond the frame you choose for your card. We can't wait to see what you create!?!?
Here is my take on it.....
I used the yummy Strawberries Set.
The image was colored with Copic Marker and Prisma Markers. After coloring I added some Royal Red & Olive Green Shimmerz to the leaves and strawberries.
The frame was created with the Bigz Top Note and the Largest Oval Spellbinder Die. I raised some of the leaves and flowers up with Stampin' Dimensionals to create the *outside of the frame* look.
At last I decorated the card with some Silver Pearls and the Red Gingham Ribbon. The sentiment was inked in Basic Black and I pierced right below it.
Hope we have inspired you to play along?!?
Please stop by Betty, Cindy, Dee and Kimberly's blog for close ups on their cards!!!

You probably all know he already...she has definitely been around for a long time and I'm so happy she was chosen this weekend!!! Congratulations Nancy!!!
Nancy's gallery is like a treasure box - lots of awesome eye candy!!! I had a hard time deciding which one to case, but since it's late and I had a long day...I figured I'd do something more simple!!!
I found this beauty and turned it into this card.......
I changed the sentiment, the colors and the size.
The Stamp Set is called Let us Begin from Our Daily Bread Designs. The Design Paper is from the Raspberry Tart Collection and I added some Pink Pirouette CS as well. The card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
Hope you like it???
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

OCC Here for You, IC199 Happy Birthday
Hope you all have time to stamp along with us??? Dana has challenged us to another fun OCC Challenge!!! It's all about *Monochromatic* color choices!!!
You know what...sometime I can pull it off just like that and then sometimes I have to think realy, really hard about it.....?!? My card today took me forever...I changed colors, layout etc around at least 10 times !!!
But then I came across the Christmas Cocoa Specialty DP.....which one of the DP sheets matches the Friends 24/7 Set and than I was saved - wahooooo!!!
Please stop by the OCC Blog and check out all the samples. I hope we have inspired you to play along???
************************************************
This card is my submission for the IC199 - The Pajama Squid. I used this fun little hairclip as my inspiration piece!!! I wasn't to crazy about the colors...so I took my color inspiration from this cute little hairclip. What can I say...we love *pink* around here - he,he,he!!!
I continued with the OCC *monochromatic* theme and stayed with the *pink colors*.
The butterfly is from the SU Stamp Set Great Friend. The sentiment is from the A Little Birthday Cheer.
I used the Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry colors.
The layout is from the VLVSep04 Sketch...which I'm super late for and I did it without the twist!!! Plus I changed the size to 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".

My first PTI Blog Hop
I'm so thrilled to participate in my first Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!!!
This months challenge was to reuse, repurpose or recycle packaging from your Papertrey Package. Unfortunately I didn't get to order anything this month :( , so I didn't have the *big* box anymore.....but I kept some of the *corrugated cardboard* (which is wrapped around the ends of the cardstock) from last months order :)!!! I always loved the look of them and I have done a few projects in the past using them!!!
Anyway - I finally had a chance to ink up my gorgeous Autumn Abundance Set. I created a card and a *candy bar slider* for today's Blog Hop.
First is the card....... (please click on the photos to see the images larger)
Here is my *candy bar slider*.......
Here is the *combo* look.......
I used this wonderful Sketch my sweet blogging friend Charlene hosted a little while back.
Since I used the corrugated cardboard I thought I'd continue the look on my White CS and I embossed the it with a few rows on each side.
The main image was inked in Memento Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used Circle Spellbinder Dies to punch it out.
For the smaller circles on my card I used the awesome Plum Pudding from the Bitty Box Patterned Paper. At last I added the Ribbon and the Silver Pearls.
The *candy bar slider* was really quick and easy to make.....I took my 8" DP square (it will give you two sliders if you cut the paper in half after it's done!!!) and scored it at 2", 1", 2", 1" and another 1/2". Trim the rest of the DP off and adhere it together. Cut at desired length - voila!!!
I decorated the slider with more corrugated cardboard, the Plum Pudding Saddle Stitched Ribbon, the extra little fuzzy Ribbon I had leftover. At last I added the little tag I made with it using the same PTI Set. Oh yeah - I filled it with some yummy Dove Chocolate Bar :) !!!
Hope you like this idea???
Thank you so much for hopping by.....I can't wait to see what everyone else created!?!

SD Banner of Joy and FTL60
Oh my new flooring is beautiful and it makes the room look so much bigger!!! It was worth all the action that comes along with this transitions- LOL!!!
Well, I told you yesterday that some of my stampin' didn't turn out as planned...I redid some of the projects and here is what I created.
Both cards are from the same Penny Black - Banner of Joy Set that is available at Stamper's Dreams.
For the first card I used the FTL60 Sketch. As you can tell I turned it into a bigger square sized card - it measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2.
The Christmas ornament was inked in Versamark and embossed with Black Embossing Powder. Pretty straight forward take on the Sketch!!!!
***********************************************
Next is the card that gave me a headache - LOL!!!
Okay - here is what I was trying to do....I thought I'd go ahead and do the *Cracked Glass* technique....as I was adding the Versamark and the Embossing Powder several times in a row....I tried to *crack it * and it just wouldn't.......I was sooooo mad!!! After I gave up I decided it was time for me to clean up and head to bed. Well, as I was cleaning I looked at the EP Container and discovered that I was using the wrong Embossing Powder - duh - no wonder it would crack - LOL!!! I used Clear EP instead of the Glassy Glaze Enamel...I guess I wasn't thinking straight - LOL!!!
So I was cutting my loses and decided to make it a more *vintage* looking card!!!
The Design Paper is from the Ski Slope Collection. I stamped the *angel* first with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink.
Next I colored it with several different Copic Markers. Then I added the Versamark & the Crystal Clear (wrong EP - he,he,he) and repeated this step several times. After the image cooled off I bended it a few times and tried to achieve the *vintage* look.
Next I distressed the edges of the DP and the card base using this Antique Linen Ink Pad.
At last I added the sentiment using Memento Black Ink, the Antique Brass Jumbo Eyelets with the Red Rhinestone Brads inside.
Hope you like the cards???
Be sure to stop by later in the evening as I'm showing off another project for a Blog Hop :) !!!
Have a great day and hope to see you later!?!?

MTSC40, CC237 Live Your Dream and SC241 Thinking of You
My goodness this week is flying by....I hardly had any time to stamp. Plus everything I touched today - stampin' wise - was a disaster...I think my mind was somewhere else!!!
Well - actually - we are ripping our carpet out and replacing it with Laminate flooring. We already have it in our Foyer, Formal Dining Room and I have no idea why we did do the Living Room as well??? Anyway - the Flooring Company is coming today and is starting the process....so yesterday and the day before yesterday I was cleaning my house...rearranging....and laundry (which is a never ending story around here).
Anyway -I thought I'd better go ahead and post some cards for ya!!!
The first card is for Mercy's Tuesday's Sketch - MTSC 40. It was also my submission for the CC237 - using Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Rich Razzleberry.
I was using the SU Set - Live Your Dream. The flowers were colored with the SU Markers - Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry.
As soon as I was done coloring I *misted* the image with my Misting Bottle and stamped it straight onto my White CS.
The DP is from the Rich Razzleberry Patterns Collection. To decorate the card I added the Polka-Dot CC Ribbon and of course my favorite Silver Pearls.
***************************************
Next I would like to share a card I did a while back for the SC241. Not sure why I have never posted it here ......?!?
I really like how it shows off some of the new SU In-Colors.
The Set I used is from the Hostess Level II - Kind & Caring Thoughts.
I inked these flowers in Rose Red, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. The sentiment was inked in Basic Black.
The DP is from the Thoroughly Modern Collection and I added a panel of Bermuda Bay CS.
At last I added the Polka-Dot Soft Suede Ribbon and the Silver Pearls :)
I totally forgot to tell you all that this was my last month on the *There She Goes* Design Team. So this will definitely free up my schedule to use more of my SU stash.....which I have been neglecting for awhile :(....
If you have time swing by the TSG Blog and check out the new Design Team Jessica has announced....she also has a great sale going on!!! Plus the October Sneak Peeks are going on!!!
Have a wonderful day and I hope I get to stamp today :) !?!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday, SSCC5 Branch Out
Oh - I'm so excited, because it's my turn to host the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday - FTTC34 today - wahoooooo!!!
I'm challenging you to add some *Misting* to your card/project!!!
There is a wonderful variety to achieve different misting looks.....here are some ideas - you ink the stamp, mist with water, then stamp. You can decide if you want your stamp mist image to be the background, focal image, accent element, or all three. We would love to see what you create!!!
Here are two links to SCS tutorials - Misting with Markers and Misting with Alcohol Markers - just in case you like to run with these ideas.....!?!
For my card I used the *Misting with Markers* technique as this is one of my favorite stampin' techniques :)!!! Need to get inspired...check out these cards and this post.
My card layout is from the C4C3 Sketch.
First I added the panel of Melon Mambo DP to my card base. I decided to add a couple scored lines to my card base as well.
Next I colored straight onto the Spring Ephemerals image using the Melon Mambo and Old Olive Markers. Then I used my little Misting Bottle and sprayed some water over the image and stamped it straight onto my White CS - voila !!!
Quick tip...you can convert your old Stamp Cleaning Bottles into a Misting Sprayer!!!!
I hope you will try this technique and play along with us?!? I can't wait to stop by and see your creations!!!
Don't forget to stop by Betty, Cindy and Kimberly's blog for their take on this challenge!!!
****************************************
I was in a stampin' mood and created a second card for you!!! This one is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge - SSCC5. The Challenge is to make a *Fall Color* card/project!!!
I used the same layout from the C4C3 Sketch, but this time I made it an all SUO card!!!
These are the SU Sets I used - *Branch Out* ,*Classic Stripes* BG and *Sweet Little Sentiments*.
The colors are - Whisper White, Really Rust.
The tree and the little add ons were inked in Chocolate Chip. The leaves were inked with the retired Stampin' Pad Spectrum - Pumpkin Patch. The Really Rust CS panel was stamped in the same color.
At the end I added the Polka Dot Dusty Durango Ribbon as it matches the Really Rust color perfectly!!!
Oh yeahhh - did you see the tiny little Silver Pearl...??? Well - I couldn't help myself - *wink*!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today....have a great day!!!

SSCC4, Snowflake in Bloom
Lately I'm in the mood to create Christmas cards....and maybe - just maybe - I can get them all done this year - LOL!!!
I really like this super gorgeous Snowflake in Bloom Stamp from Holly Berry House.
I made two different cards with this Stamp........
The snowflake was inked in Versamark and embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder. I repeated the step twice and cut out the second snowflake. As you can tell I trimmed it down and left a centerpiece.....which I raised up and added a Chocolate Pearl on top.
On this card I used the retired Wintergreen DP Collection. I matched it up with some Satin Ribbon.
*************************************************
Here is another approach.......
I used the beautiful SSCC4 Sketch for this card.
Again I inked the snowflake in Versamark and embossed it with the Copper Embossing Powder twice. Both images were cut out and raised with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The DP is from the Christmas Cocoa Collection. I added a matching Brown Ribbon and at last I decorated the card with the Chocolate Pearls.
Have a wonderful day!!!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday!!!
If you're here for the Blog Hop please go down one post -thank you!!!
Well it's another day and another fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!
Today is Betty's turn to host the FTTC33 and she wants us to *Mix it Up*!!! We are using stamps, dp, textures, or a combination of all three to mix different patterns. You can blend subtle patterns for a conservative look or go all out with bold and daring patterns for an extreme look. The choice is yours!!! We would love to see what you create!!!
Well, I must admit I'm *Design Paper challenged* - LOL!!! I love DP and own lots of it, but when it comes to adding them together...oh my I'm in trouble - LOL!!!
With that said....I tried really hard to come up with a card....and the wonderful WSC97 Sketch helped me along the way.......
I couldn't help myself but to use the gorgeous new Seasonal Wreaths Set that was released this past Friday!!! Just in case you missed the Flourishes release....check out the post right here !!!
The two different Design Papers are from the Christmas Cocoa and Bella Rose Collection.
To dress my card up I added the small Silver Pearls, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Styled Silver Hardware and Royal Red Shimmerz. Plus I added some Faux Stitching around the edges.
So what do you think..should I add some more DP on my future cards :)???
Make sure to swing by Betty, Cindy and Dee's blog to see their cards close up too!!!

Gina K's Blog Hop !!!
My friend Nina Brackett was so sweet and invited me to participate in tonight's *Gina K's Blog Hop*. Thank you Nina....I'm so happy you asked - wouldn't want to miss it :) !!!
The focus is on the Elegant Verse Set that Nina recently released over at the Gina K Design store. This Set works perfectly with the fabulous Elegant Post Set that Nina released last month!!!
For this card I combined both of Nina's Sets!!!
I started out by scoring the top part of my card base. Next I stamped the Elegant Post image on the White CS and colored it with the Copic Markers.
Once I was done...I started tearing around the edges. I matched the Kraft CS below and adhered them together.
Next I added the punched out DP panel with the Satin Ribbon. At last I added the wonderful Verse and decorated the card with Silver Pearls - voila!!!
*************************************************
Of course I had to make one more card with just a sentiment on it :).......
I started out scoring the top of the card base again.
Then I punched out the DP with the Scalloped Edge Punch. I added another strip of DP and distressed the edges.
The sentiment was inked in Basic Black and cut out with the Oval Spellbinder Die.
At last I added the piercing, the matching Satin Ribbon and the flower.
Hope you like my cards???

I combined my OCC card with the IC197 - CWDKids. I chose this adorable dress.....!!! I really liked these pretty, rich fall colors!!! I don't think I would have added *turquoise* to my fall card....but I really thought it was striking...!!!

I inked the blooms with these colors - Pumpkin Pie, Really Rust, Tempting Turquoise, Marigold Morning. The Design Paper is from the beautiful BasicGrey - Marrakech Collection.

Stamper's Dream - Impression Obsession week
This is the last day of our Impression Obsession week over on Stamper's Dream!!!
Just in case you missed the whole entire week.....check out my post from the other day right HERE!!!!
Today I have the pleasure of showing off another cute Christmas Stamp and this one is called *Tall Trees*.
I actually made two cards...first up is the more *traditional* version.......
The card base is Very Vanilla. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers.
The Real Red CS was embossed with the Cuttlebug folder - Snowflakes. At last I added some Red Gemstones to one of trees and the Cotton Ribbon with the button.
Next, is the *non-traditional* version.........
I started out with a White card base. The top was scored and the bottom was pierced in two rows.
