IC204 inspired OCC Card

Happy Saturday and if you are celebrating *Halloween* today - I hope you are having a fun one!?!

Lori has thought of one more fun challenge before handing it off to the next month host!!! This time she is challenging us to create a *Vintage* card or anything *vintage inspired*!!! For all the details please visit the OCC Blog!!!

Once again the IC Challenge came to my rescue :)......I accidentally made the wrong challenge card for today...oooops....so I had to come up with a new card - yikes!!! So I waited for the IC204 to be posted and thank goodness I was immediately inspired!!! After looking thru the wonderful Franz Porcelain Collection I chose this beautiful *Angel Figurine* .

It reminded me of a card I recently created.....you can view it right here.

I used the same beautiful *Banner of Joy* Set from Penny Black. It's available at the Stamper's Dream Store!!!

I inked the *Angel* image in Memento Black and colored it with Copic Markers. Next I covered up my image and sprayed my background with my new toy the Copic Airbrush System. At last I used the *right* embossing enamel and added the *Cracked Glass* technique.

The DP is from the Ski Slope Collection and for my card base I used the Vintage Cream CS. To finish the card off I ink distressed the edges, added the Laced Ribbon and the Large Halfback Pearls.

I'm not very good in creating *vintage* cards.....so I hope you like my idea and you'll come out and play with us....??? Make sure to check out the Samples at the OCC Blog!!!

I see you back tomorrow when we kick off the ODBD November Release Blog Hop - you don't want to miss it!!!

Have a great remaining weekend!!!

Wow, another fabulous card, Silke. You really rocked the vintage challenge. That image is terrific and looks sensational the way you have colored her and used the cracked glass technique. Love the way you used the lace too - just peeking out along the edge.
