Flourishes Timeless Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend?!? Mine was a blur...I'm still down with some stinkin' headaches and I'm off to see a Chiropractor today. My whole back is out of whack...and I hope he can fix me..!!!

Well are you ready for another fun Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC78 ?!? This week Dee Jackson is our host and she is challenging us to a  tough *LIMITED SUPPLY* Challenge. What's the limit ???.....You CAN NOT USE ANY EMBELLISHMENTS!!! I know it's crazy right.....but it's doable!!!  Let the image you use speak for itself. We CAN use ink, stamps, paper, punches, die cuts, and coloring tools. We CAN NOT add rhinestones, prima flowers, buttons, pearls, ribbons, brads, etc!!! Have fun and we are looking forward seeing your ideas!!!

Here are my ideas....I was torn between two images and figured it would be fun two show off both :) .....

My first card is a multi layered CAS card using Kraft and White CS. The flower image is from the Signs of Spring Set and the sentiment is Humming Along Set.

My second card is also CAS and I only used one layer. The rose image is from the I love Roses Set and the sentiment is from the Sweet Violets Set.

I combined my card with the new Flourishes Challenge called Bring Back Beautiful ~ using your favorite *medium* (mine are Copic's) and the SCFC#14 ~ create a *Thank You* card.

Both of my cards were inked in Memento Black and colored with Copic MarkersI ink distressed the edges and created the frames using a Ruler and a Black Marker. I also added some piercing right below both sentiments!!!

Please make sure to check out Barbara, Betty, Cindy, Dee and Maki's ideas!!! Hope we have inspired you to play along?!?

If you have time check out my second post down below!!!  Hugs ~S~

No embellies is the toughest challenge and you pulled it off beautifully and effortlessly. Simply gorgeous cards, my friend. How are you doing? Did the chiropractor help? Wish I was just a wee bit closer so I could do something to help. Take care of yourself.
