FTTC124 A Day of Joy and more....

Happy Tuesday again!

It's time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC124. Tammy is our host and she created this awesome Sketch for you/us to try.

Here is my idea....

I used the beautiful Butterflies & Blossoms Set for this design. The DP in the background is from the Webster Vellum & Diecut Kit II. The image itself was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ R14, R17, R22, BG0000, BG000, B02, BG07, BG10, G24, G94, YG11, Y15 and Colorless Blender.  The tag was created with the SU Large Tag Punch.and inked with the sentiment from the Kids Play Set. My embellishments for this card are ~ Doily, Kaiser Pearls, Flourished Rhinestones, matching Button, White Scrapper's Floss and some White Satin Ribbon.

Here is my take on this week's CAS Sketch:

I was provided with the image called Madison Attitude. Isn't it such a fun girly girl card?? I colored the shopping diva with these Copic Markers ~ BG0000, BG000, BG02, BG10, YG11, Y15, Y21, R22, RV0000, RV000, RV00, RV10.

The rest of my card was embellished with some SU Design Paper, PTI Ribbon and matching Button, some Pearls and the pretty Flowers.

FTTC123 It's all in the Bag and some goodies!!!

Happy Tuesday again!

We have a fun, fun challenge going on over at the Flourishes Timeless Challenge ~ FTTC123. Betty is our host this week and she is challenging us to think *INSIDE THE BAG* or should I say *outside the Bag*....LOL?!? Use brown grocery bag paper on your card or project. You can use a brown lunch bag to create a gift item or small scrapbook album. Or, you can create a background, border, or accent piece for your card or project. If you don't have any brown grocery bag paper to play with, Kraft CS will work, too! We want everyone who wants to play along to be able to play with us! Have fun and we can't wait to see what you create!!!

Here is my idea.....

I went with a fun little brown paper gift bag I found at Hobby Lobby. I opted to decorate it and add dress it up with a *tag*. The stamp set I used today is from the Country Charm Labels. This set has really become one of my fav's lately...and if you stay tuned you will have the chance to win it today!!!! The sentiment is from another the beautiful set that I adore Wedded Bliss! You will have the chance to win this one too... :) !!!

My bag came together quickly by adding some Cotton Trim, Satin Ribbon, a PTI tag die, some Pearl/Rhinestone Flourish, Halfback Pearls, matching Button & Scrap Floss....voila! The fabbo colors were inspired by this weeks CR84FN32 Challenge.

Here is my take on the Sketch :

I had the pleasure of coloring up the image from the D'Amore Allure Vintage Collection called Doris Mae. The image was colored with these Copic Markers ~ E27, E37, E35, E50, and C2.
I used some Webster Design Paper in the background and added some white ink distressed Kraft CS on top. Next I embellished the card with Ribbon, Cotton Trim, Pearls, an Antique Brad and not to forget the fabbo Flowers!!!

C4C92 Sweet Baby Girl

Happy weekend everyone!

Hope you all are doing well?!? I've been super busy with my girls and at work this week.  I'm also trying to prep for our upcoming mini vacation to Charleston, SC. Have you ever been to Charleston? It's definitely a must see city! So much history and charm...love it!

Anyway, I'm blending in really quick to tell you all about our new Crazy 4 Challenge ~ C4C92 theme this week....this weeks challenge is an easy one!!! All you have to do is add twine, floss, string, etc... to your card or project!!

FTTC122 Thinking of you and more!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend?!? I have been under the weather last week and trying to recuperate! I'm feeling a tad better and played along in this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC122. Maki is our host this week and she has challlenged us to use only *CIRCLES AND SQUARES* on our creations.

My inspiration came from the Embellish Magazine ~ Background Stamping Color Trend Challenge. The requirements are to use the colors shown in the photo down below and to stamp the background. Loved the colors and it worked perfectly with the images from the fabulous newly released Flourishes Set called Zinnias. Isn't it gorgeous??? The sentiment is actually from the Orchid Set.

My background was stamped with the single flower from this set. I used Kraft CS and SU White Craft Ink. The main image was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ YR01, YR02, YR07, BG000, B00, B01, Y15, G24, C1 and Colorless Blender. I added a stripe of White CS and scored it and topped it off with some matching Satin Ribbon, Button, Glitter and some Silver Pearls.

Stamper's Dream & Friends Blog Hop!!!

Hey everyone, I have a quick card for you today. My sweet friend Michelle Rodger's from Stamper's Dream has asked me a while back if I wanted to participate in today's blog hop and of course I couldn't resist saying no!

I have the pleasure of showing you a card with a sentiment from the JustRite Collection called My Rainbow Borders. The sentiment and the border were inked in Memento Black. I used the QuicKutz Retro Diamond Embossing Folder in the background and added a doily behind the PTI Guide Lines Design Paper. At last I embellished my card with the matching PTI Stitched Ribbon, Button, some Flowers and some Large Halfback Pearls.

FTTC121 My turn...

Happy Tuesday again!

I'm excited to tell you, that it is my turn to host this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC121!!!
Father's Day is celebrated here in the US on June19th and since that special day is right around the corner I thought it would be wise to plan ahead! So, my challenge to you this week is to create a *FATHER'S DAY* card!!!  We would love it if you would play along!

Here is my idea....

I used the newly released May Set called What a Catch. I inked the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ C0, C1, C2, C3, B0000, B91, B93, B95, E25, E29, E51,  E53, YG95 and Colorless Blender. In the background I used a corrugated cardboard piece and ink distressed it with some Craft White Ink. At last I added the Ribbon, the Star Brad and the three Silver Brads below the sentiment.

Of course I couldn't  pass up the opportunity to create another fun Flourishes card!!!

This time I'm using the beautiful color palette from the  CR84FN31 colors!

I finally cleaned up my super duper messy stamp room this past weekend and I came across some Vellum Paper and I thought it would be fun to use something different for a change :) !!! I stamped the main image from the gorgeous Orchids Set using Memento Black. The DP in the background is from the SU Blushing Bride Collection and I also used a piece from the SU Pear Pizzazz DP. I distressed the edges and added some *faux stitching* connecting the dots with some White Gel Pen. The rest of my card was
embellished with a doily, White Satin Ribbon, a SU Antique Brad, a punched out MS Butterfly and some Snow White Kaiser Pearls.

I received this beautiful fairy image from Wags n' Whiskers called Nichola. After printing the image I colored is with Copic Markers and added some Glitter to the wings. The DP is from Papertrey Ink and I added some embossing with the SU Framed Tulip Folder and finished it off with a doily, some Lace Ribbon, some Black/White Gingham, a SU Flower Brad, Silver Pearls and the Prima Flowers.

It is super hot down here in the South...how about in your neck of the woods?!? I took the day off yesterday and I surprised the girls to a trip to the fun *Splash in the Boro* Waterpark...yeah!!! Today my girls are busy participating in a Cheerleader Camp and I plan on doing a little bit of stampin' :) !!!

Onto my card.....I had the opportunity to combined my card with this weeks ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC63. Chris has challenged us to create a card/project using *ONLY A SENTIMENT*. The second challenge is for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C90. It's an *Inspiration* Challenge!!! Here is my idea..............

My inspiration definitely came for the colors on the purse...I used Orange, Black, Green, Turquoise plus the Silver Accent!!! My card started out with the Spellbinder Blossom Die. Next I added the DP and added some *faux stitching*. The sentiment I chose is from the beautiful ODBD Faith Set. Next I added some fun embellishments like the Cotton Lace, Prima Flowers, the Black/White Gingham Ribbon with the SU Antique Brad,  the punched out MS Butterfly and the Silver Pearls. I actually made a similar card not to long ago...check it out HERE!
