Happy Tuesday!!!
Time is flying by fast and it’s time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge – FTTC146. Cindy is our hostess and she has challenged us to a *RECIPE*….please use a flower, tag and ribbon on your creations.
Here is my idea….
My inspiration for this card came from the The Paper Player Sketch #74 layout.
The image is from the A Season of Celebrations Set and I stamped it onto a PTI Tag Sale 1 Die. Next, I colored the image with these Copic Markers – B91, B93. The fabbo DP on my card is from the BoBunny Snowfall Collection. I finished the card off with these embellishments - large Brown Striped Ribbon, a matching Brown Button, some Gold Cord, Dazzling Diamond Glitter, Prima Flowers and some Gold Pearls.
Please make sure to swing by the rest of the team ~ Cindy, Heather, Tammy, Beate, Mona and our November Guest Designer Miriam Napier.
Have a wonderful day and I hope you get a chance to play along with us?!?
Hugs, ~Silke~

Happy Saturday!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving??? We sure did! I'm enjoying my last few days off and I decided to make this a short post.
My card today is for the ODBD Shining Light Challenge ~ ODBDSLC86. The challenge this week is a *RECIPE* ~ Ribbon, Lace, Glitter with Anything ODBD!!! Please make sure to stop by the ODBD blog for all the details and cards from the rest of the team.
As always I tried to combine my card with this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C115. The theme is to add some sort of *SNOW* on your card! Don't forget to swing by the C4C blog to see all the ideas the *Crazies* had!!!
I found this beautiful BoBunny Design Paper called *Snowfall* and added it to my card. I stamped the image from the Fancy Labels first and added the Bible Verse is from the Christmas Verses Set. Next I added the Lace Ribbon, the yummy Brown Satin Ribbon, a Button, some Gold Cord and the Brown Pearls.
Now it's your turn...have fun crafting!
Hugs, ~Silke~

FTTC145 Joy is in the Air.....
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Are you excited about Thanksgiving??? We are....we'll be celebrate with some friends and family we have not seen in forever! I have been backing some yummy German Apple Cakes and cookies :) !!! This year I'm way ahead of my Christmas shopping and I don't have to battle the crowd on Black Friday...okay maybe I will...just for the thrill...LOL!?!?
Anyway, since it's Tuesday, we have a fun new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ FTTC145 for you. Heather is our hostess this week and she has challenged us to a very fun theme to try..... *DRYER SHEET TECHNIQUE* or use *ANY HOUSEHOLD ITEMS* you can convert!!!
Unfortunately I don't own any dryer sheets....and opted for White Tissue Paper and created the *Faux Silk* technique shown on SCS. I did alter the technique just a bit...I didn't smooth out the paper and I ran the tissue with the White CS straight through my Big Shot. My darlin' image is from the newly released Joy is in the Air Set and the sentiment is from the Holiday Greetings Set.
The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with these Copic Markers ~ C1, C3, B21, R14, R27, G14, E27, E47, Y08 and Colorless Blender. Little tip...when you color on tissue paper make sure to add some good CS underneath to oberserve the ink, otherwise the ink will leak. Next I embellished my card with the DP and CS, Ribbon, Button, Silver Cord, Glitter, a punched out MS Border on the bottom and some Red Kaiser Rhinestones.
My layout for this card was inspired by Iwona's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #38....
Please make sure to check out the rest of the team for their ideas ~ Cindy, Heather, Tammy, Beate, Mona and our November Guest Designer Miriam Napier.
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and thank you for taking the time to swing by today!
Hugs, ~Silke~

FTTC143, CR84FN42 Jolly Holiday....plus some pictures!!!
Happy Tuesday!
We had a fabulous weekend, how about you??? Sarah's pageant was fun and as promised I have some pictures at the end of this post. But first, I would like to share my Flourishes Timeless Tuesday ~ FTTC143 card with you.
Mona is our host today and she has challenged us to try a technique called *DOUBLE EMBOSSING*. You can find the step by step tutorial and video right HERE.
My card was embossed with the Cuttlebug *Snowflakes* Folder. I created my frame with the Spellbinder Label 18 Dies. I could resist using my sweet snowwoman *wink* from the Warm Winter Wishes Set. The image was inked in Memento Black and colored with the C1, C5, R00, RV63 Copic Markers. We are also sneak peeking the new *Sentimental Christmas* Set today and I chose to show off the *Have A Jolly Holiday* image. I embellished the rest of my card with some Silver Pearls, a Black Stitched Ribbon with matching Black Button, some Silver String and not to forget the Dazzling Diamond Glitter.
My color inspiration came from this weeks CR84FN42....using Black, Pale Pink and Neutral.
Please make sure to swing by the FTTC blog to see all the beautiful ideas the team has created with the *Double Embossing* technique ~ Cindy, Heather, Tammy, Beate and Mona. Don't forget to stop by our November Guest Designer Miriam Napier.
Now on to Sarah's pageant photo's...yeah!!! I'm sooooooooooo thrilled to tell you all that Sarah was crowned *3rd Runner Up*. This was her second time participating in a pageant I thought it was a huge success plus she was the youngest in her age group (13 -15 years)! I'm so proud of my baby...she was so confident & gorgeous and it definitely showed in the end result!!!
As always, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by at my blog! See ya soon....
Hugs, ~Silke~

C4C112, Moxie Fab World, ODBDSLC83 I Love the Lord....
Happy weekend everyone!
Hope you have some fun plans??? My oldest daughter Sarah will participate in another pageant this weekend, so we will be quite busy :) !!! This will be her second time and I hope she will be less nervous!?! I will share some pics later in the week.
I have two fun challenges waiting for you......
First, the ODBD Shining Light ~ ODBDSLC83. We have a great, straight forward Sketch for you to try.....
While everyone is making Christmas card I was inspired by this gorgeous Moxie Fab World ~ Tuesday Trigger: Beads & Baubles Inspiration Photo...check it out!!! Isn't it fabbo???
I love all the different flowers, pearls, charms and colors...it really inspired me to go bold on my card & bag.
I started out with the ODBD Fancy Labels Set using the matching Label 17 Spellbinder Dies with it and then I stamped the beautiful Bible Verse from the Scripture Collection 6 Set inside. Next I embellished the card with some Prima Flowers, Halfback Pearls and a ZVA Pearl Flourish, some Gold Ribbon and matching colored SU Button. I also embossed my background on both projects with the PTI Linen & Canvas Impression Template.
On to the second challenge....... it's for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C112. The challenged is to create gift project (box, bag, gift card holder...etc.). Make sure to check out the C4C blog for more information!
I created this coordinating little gift bag using the PTI Favor Box #2 Die and embellished it pretty much with the same elements as the card....qucik and easy!
Now it's time for you to get crafty! Please make sure to stop by both challenge blogs to check out all the details and the fabbo ideas the Design Teams have created!
See you soon,
Hugs ~Silke~
