Happy Tuesday!
Can you believe it's already time for a new Color Q???
Here is our new awesome CQC161 color palette.....and the layout for this card was inspired by this weeks The Paper Players Sketch #119....
I decided to use a sentiment from the Flourishes Country Road Set. Here are the goodies I used on my card....I started out with the Flourishes Classic White CS, the Orange DP is from the BasicGrey Indie Bloom Collection and the Yellow DP is from the My Mind's Eye Dolled Up Collection, some Black Kaiser Rhinestones, the BasicGrey Tissue Flower with the Yellow Prima Crystal in the center. I also added some scoring and the Scalloped Border.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and please don't forget to stop by the CQC Blog to see all the beautiful samples the rest of the team has created!

Flourishes Friday Focus...
Happy TGIF!
I've been under the weather a bit and I can't even tell you how happy I'm that it's weekend time!!!
I did manage to stamp a bit this week and here is my card for the Flourishes Friday Focus on the Forest of Trees Set.
I tried something different this time...I'm becoming daring.....wink. I saw this *Emboss Resist* technique not to long ago on my friend Marisa's blog and I could wait to try it myself.
The only thing I did different was....I started out with the Flourishes Classic White CS and then I took these Memento Ink Pads ~ Cottage Ivy, Dandelion, New Sprout ~ and literally spread them across the CS. Next I heat embossed the tree with the Ranger Super Fine Black EP. The rest of the card was embellished with the matching Color Made Easy Pistachio Ribbon, the cute Stamped Metal Brad along with the Tailor-Made Classic Tag and the sentiment form the Tiny Flowers & Tag Set.
Please stop by all the other team members to see their ideas on this Set ~
Are you ready to take a gamble? Starting today, Flourishes will be hosting a progressive sale called our Gambler’s Sale! We’ll start the sale at 10% off all items on our SALE page and then, each Friday afterward, we will drop prices another 5% until all the items are going, going, GONE! Quantities are limited – so take a gamble and see how low these prizes will go and risk losing the sale or buy them before they get snatched up! There will be no back orders on any of the products facing retirement. So, get these items before they are gone for good! Since we have to make room on our shelves for new products, this sale is bound to be good! Click HERE to take a peek at our sale pages!
Thank you so much for stopping by.....I'll be back tomorrow with a new card :) !!! Hope to see you then....

Happy Weekend!!!
Hope you are enjoying yours??? We escaped to Atlanta for a few days to do some birthday shopping for me and my little Miriam....along with some early Christmas shopping! We went to yummy Cheesecake Factory and Bahama Breeze....which is the restaurant we ate the night before our sweet little Miriam was born....she loves when we eat there and when I tell her the story about the night before she was born :) !!! Time sure flies by fast...Miriam is almost 8 years.
Anyway, today I have a fun card for you.....I finally made my first Halloween card this year. This card is for this weeks Crazy 4 Challenges ~ C4C159 and the Catered Crop Recipe Swap. The the theme for the C4C159 is to create a project with these Halloween colors ~ ORANGE, PURPLE AND BLACK.
The Catered Crop Recipe this week is to create a .....CIRCLE ROUND project - NO SQUARES ALLOWED!!!! I see some bad puns in our future – but some well-rounded projects! Grab anything with a circle shape – buttons, brads, die cuts, or punches – or even make a circle-shaped card. Please make sure to stop by the Catered Crop Blog for all the details on how to play along!
I decided to grab my super fun Flourishes Witching You a Happy Halloween Set. I inked up the fun sentiment and witch hat with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ YR01, YR07, V17 and Colorless Blender. My card shape was created with the Spellbinder Blossom Die. My card base is from the Flourishes Classic White CS. Next I layered it with the Color Made Easy Tiger Lily and Color Made Easy Rich Brown Paper. The rest of my card was embellished with the Color Made Easy Elderberry Ribbon, a Button with some Black Scrapper's Floss and the Black Kaiser Rhinestones.
Hope you come and join us and show us your ideas....please make sure to stop by the C4C Blog for all the details and please also make sure to stop by the Catered Crop Blog for all the details!!!

I decided to make a birthday card again, since this is such a busy birthday month :) !!! The birthday sentiment is from the newly released Flourishes Sentimental Favorites Set. The sentiment was inked in Memento Tuxedo Black and stamped onto the Spellbinder Standard Circle Die. My card base was created with the Flourishes Classic White CS. Next I layered it with the Color Made Easy Tiger Lily Paper and the Color Made Easy Pistachio Paper. The *flourish* behind the sentiment was created with a MFT Die using the Color Made Easy Rich Brown Paper. The rest of the card was embellished with a Doily, some May Arts Solid Iridescent Ribbon, a matching Button with some Black Scrapper's Floss, some Prima Flowers and the Prima Harvest Crystals.
My layout for this card was inspired by this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch #263.
