FS95 Flourished Cross and Footprints in the Sand

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

I was so flippin' excited to see a wonderful, super talented Stamper to be chosen for today's FS95!!!

It's no other then the fabulous Dawn - known as *Flowergals36* over on SCS!!! Congrats my friend!!!

You can see her gorgeous gallery right here. I was inspired by this card.

Since this is my last day as a Guest Designer for *Our Daily Bread Designs* I thought I'd use the gorgeous *Flourished Christian Symbols* Set.

My card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
The DP is from SU - can't think of the name right now...have to go back and look - LOL!!! I pierced the beautiful flourish with the *Ornare Template* also from *ODBD*!!! Right in the center of the pierced image I added three Silver Brads.

I embossed the cross with Silver EP. Then I used the new *Curved Rectangle* Nestie - that I bought at *Stampers Dream* (BTW - Michelle does super fast shipping!!!). This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals onto Purely Pomegranate CS. I added the Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon between the CS's.

The sentiment is from the same Set and it was also embossed and then layered onto Always Artichoke and Purely Pomegranate CS. This was also raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

This is a card I made earlier today.....actually as an *goodbye* card for my Guest Designer Spot with *Our Daily Bread Designs*!!!
I used the *Footprints in the Sand* Set.
Isn't it gorgeous??? I also embossed the the image and used the same Nestie as above!!!
The other color I used on this card is Purely Pomegranate. I also added the Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon on top and the Silver Brads on the image.
If you love these Set's as much as I do you should treat yourself to Kelley Holland's awesome *Free Shipping* offer that actually ends today - so hurry over to her blog to find out the info!!! But first leave me some lovings - LOL!!!
I also want to *Thank* Kelley for the opportunity to design with her fabulous Stamps!!! I had so much fun and the other ladies from the Team are soooooo amazing!!! Thank you ladies for giving me the chance to play along!!! I'm so looking forward to the next Releases!!!

LSC196 Owl Loves You and *TSG* Let's get together

Happy TGIF!!!

How was your Thanksgiving???
I'm still super full from yesterday - LOL!!! We had a wonderful dinner!!! Everything was sooooo yummy!!!

I hate to say it, but my hubby let me sleep in till 9:00 am this morning - I love this man....

Of course I had to see what was going on over on SCS with the LSC196 .
How could I resist making a *pink* card - LOL???

I used the super stinkin' cute new *Owlentine* Set from *Treehouse Stamps*. This Set will be released on December 1st!!!

Here is another card I made with this same Set the other day.

First I inked the owls in Timber Brown Stazon and then I colored them with a Copic Marker (Putty), a Dark Brown Prisma Marker and the Regal Rose SU Marker. Before I placed the image onto the White CS I layered it onto Chocolate Chip CS then added 3 Mini Gold Brads and raised it with Stampin Dimensionals. Next I inked the sentiment in Timber Brown and beautified it with the 5/8" Regal Rose Ribbon from SU.

Here is my bonus card!!!

I used the soon to be released (Dec 1st) *Let's get together* Set from *There She Goes*.

If you click right here you will see all the cards made so far with this fun Set.

For my card I used the *Ski Slope DP* from SU. For the matching CS I used - Real Red, Baja Breeze and Whisper White.

The image was stamped twice. I cut and layered the second one for the 3D look. The sentiment in the middle was inked with Real Red. I used a Dark Brown Prisma Marker to color the *coffee* on top. I also pierced the Whisper White CS to make it stand out some more. The center panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals. At the end I added some Medium Silver Brads plus the 5/8" Real Red Ribbon from SU.

Have a wonderful weekend!!! ~TFL~

TSG Teabag Holder, WT195 &TLC156

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Hope you will enjoy yourselves with family and friends?!? We'll spent our day with my In-Law's and I'm so looking forward to it!!!

This is a perfect time to count my blessings - I have a wonderful family, we are healthy most of the time - LOL!!! We have a roof over our heads and we have Christ in our Life's - this is more than I can ask for!!!
There is one more thing.....I want to *thank you* all for stopping by my blog and for all the wonderful comments you left or will leave in the future!!! I'm so grateful for that!!!

My blog has become my *outlet* and I have grown so much as a stamper because of you all - I get inspired everyday by the SCS Challenges or even by individuals like in today's case by Kay Kalthoff - she has a fabulous gallery and a fun blog. I came across this fun little project Kay made not to long ago - isn't it cute??? Well - I loved it and had to create one for myself with this new Set from *There She Goes* called *Tea for Two*.

I used a regular 4 3/8" x 5 3/4" envelope for the base and punched the sides out with the large SU Tag Punch. The DP in the BG is *Windsor Knot*. I added a Chocolate Chip Scallop Edge on the top and bottom. Next I inked the Tea Pot with Timber Brown Stazon onto the *Windsor Knot* DP and I trimmed it. I placed a small Filgree Brad in the center and raised the image up with Stampin Dimensionals. The Whisper White Circle was cut out with a Nestie and then placed onto a punched out Scalloped Circle (Marvy Uchida). Again each layer was raised with Stampin Dimensionals. Before I added everything permanently I dressed the Teabag Holder up with the yummy-luscious Satin Chocolate Chip Ribbon.
Have a fun day and I'll see you later!!!~TFL~
Add on: I submitted this pouch for the WT195 and TLC156 Challenges on Dec 5th, 2008.

WT194 and *There She Goes* Challenge!!!

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!

I had some more trouble with our local networking last night.....Right as I was in the middle of posting this card they have turned off the internet connection without any warnings!!! How cruel is that - LOL???

Anyway - I made this card for the *There She Goes* Challenge last night - you can read about it right here . I also made this card for the Sneak Peek Preview that starts today - Jessica will release five new Set's!!! She will also show you each day a Sneak Peek!!!

This cute Set is called *Year Round Sentiments* - it's a Set of 21 stamps - how cool is that??? It's perfect for any occasion!!!

The layout for my card came from Julee Tillman's VSHR1 Sketch. The CS I used is - Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. First I inked the *Thanksgiving* Circle in Timber Brown Stazon. I punched the circles out with the 1 3/8", 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" Circle Punch. Then I stamped the leave in Pumpkin Pie and cut it out. I used a Chocolate Chip Marker to color the edges. I added some Medium Copper Brads (Michael's) and a Brown Satin Ribbon (Michael's). I raised the leave and the whole circle with Stampin Dimensionals.

Hope you have time to play along??? If you do please use TSG01 for the keyword over on SCS!!!! I'm off to do some shopping!!! ~TFL~
Add on: I submitted this card for the WT194!!!

BIC33, OCCC Happy Holidays and CC194, WSC67 Love Birds

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!

I was in the middle of posting my CC194 card when my computer crashed - YIKES!!!

I have some news to share....I'll be a Guest Designer for *Treehouse Stamps* in Dec/Jan!!!
I'm so excited to get a chance to play with Ashley Bowen's Stamps!!!

Treehouse Stamps is celebrating it's
1. Anniversary starting December 01st and Ashley will have some fun stuff going on - so make sure you'll check her blog!!!

I used Beate's WSC67 for the layout. The Set I'm using is actually a Sneak Peek for the December Release and it's called *Owlentine*. I colored the owls with Prisma and Copic Marker - Sienna Brown, Dark Brown, Green Tea and Lipstick Red. I also used the Going Gray Marker from SU. I added some Basic Black CS to make the image pop a bit more...Next I added some Tiny Silver Brads and the Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon. The Really Rust CS was embossed with the CB folder *Bubbles*.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Next is my card for the *Be Inspired* Challenge #33.

This time Beate has chosen this cozy outdoor living space by Martha Stewart. It reminds me a lot of Germany.... - we have beautiful settings like that around the area I grew up!!! I always loved the Summer time in Germany...fun Beer Gardens, good food and the best beer - LOL!!! I think I'm getting home sick now...:(
I have not been to Germany in 3 years!!! It gets harder and harder once the kids go to school and all the activities after school....Sorry - didn't try to get all sad now - LOL!!!

Anyway - here is what inspired me about this picture - there are some hanging light right above the table - can you see them??? I thought it would be fun to translate them into hanging ornaments for my Christmas card.

For the layout of my card I used the OCC Sketch from this past weekend. The flowers from the picture were my color inspiration....just in case you wondered where the blue is coming from - LOL!!! The CS I chose are - Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red and Whisper White. I embossed the Baja Breeze CS with the CB folder *Snowflakes*. Next I stamped the Ornaments from the retired *Ornamassortment* Set with Black Stazon and colored them with Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red Ink using a Blender Pen!!! Next I added some Crystal Effects and dried it with the Heating Tool. Once I knew it was completely dry I added the punched out Martha Stewart Branches on top. I used River Rock, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive CS for them. Next I dressed the card up with the new Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon.

The sentiment is from the *Many Merry Messages* and it was also inked in Black Stazon. This whole panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

Well - I hope you like my take in the picture??? ~TFL~

Hope we have inspired you to play along??? Make sure to check out all the other ladies from Beate's Design Team - Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and
Susan Roberts.

TECC43 Let it Snow

Happy Day you all!!!

Oh man - the stomach flu is going around in our house - YIKES!!! My middle daughter Rebecca had an episode the other day...didn't think much of it since she is the one who has a weaker stomach.....well last night our little Mimi left us surprises left and right - LOL!!!

My poor baby - I really hate it when she is sick...my older girls know at least when to run for the toilet...LOL. Well - I didn't get much sleep last night, but I did get a chance to work on a card I made with my brand spankin' new Taylored Expressions Set called *Home Sweet Home*.

What do your think - isn't this a cute Set??? I wanted to get one of Taylor's fab Set's a while back, but couldn't decide which one....so once I saw this card (you have to be signed in to the SCS site in order to view this beauty!!!) made by my buddy Denise for the November Dirty Dozen Gallery I knew that's the one for me too!!! Yep - it is all Denise's fault - LOL!!!

This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". I used Real Red, River Rock and Whisper White CS. I have colored the Gingerbread House with Copic Markers - Lipstick R29 and Putty YG91. I added some Liquid Applique for the *Snow Effect* and to make it all sparkly I added the *Icicle* Stickles. The River Rock CS and the small Real Red CS up front were embossed with the CB *Snowflakes*. I raise the image panel and the sentiment up with Stampin Dimensionals.

Anyway - I hope you all have a great day and be safe if you travel this week!!!
Don't forget to stop by for my *Be Inspired* card tomorrow!!! ~TFL~

Happy Saturday you all!!!

We had a wonderful time at the movies last night. We saw James Bond *007* - I haven't seen one in a long time, but I must say this one was awesome!!! Lots of action - yeahhh!!!

Anyway - we had the crazy idea to move furniture around this morning and what in the world were we thinking...YIKES - this is gonna be a whole day process.....

My husbands office/my craft room was upstairs....but my poor hubby has no place to escape from us girls - so we decided to move the two younger girls up into the large room. Jerry and I would have our own offices that way....but like I said what in the world were we thinking - LOL!!!

Now to the real fun part - our Boxer *Luke* offically weighs 53.3 pounds and he is only 6 months old - wahhhhhh!!! But at least he is healthy!!!

Valarie - Val's Paper Obsession and Sue D. both guessed 53 pounds!!! You both are winners - well done!!! My daughter, Miriam picked Valarie as the winner for the *Punches Three* Set
and Sue I will also mail you a prize!!!

Please contact me under silkeledlow@yahoo.com so I can mail your prizes on Monday!!!

LSC195, WT193 and SDDC2 Happy Thanksgiving

Happy TGIF!!! Hope you have great plans for the weekend???

My hubby is taking me out for a movie and dinner - oh yeahhh - looking forward to it!!!

We have some sweet friends that are willing to watch our three diva's.....they just love our girls to death!!! It's so cute - they cook for them and really make a big deal when the girls come over!!! Of course our girls love that too - LOL!!!

Anyway - we have some good challenges going on this week over on SCS. I missed the WT193 - adding Pearls yesterday and then I did a bit of blog hopping last night and saw this fun challenge over on the Stamper's Dream blog - SDDC2 - to create a *Fall* card with a view. So I tried to combine all of those in one LSC195 card....

I used the super fun *A Tree for All Seasons* (sorry I thought it was retired, but it's still on the Dormant List). I inked it in Timber Brown Stazon. Then I colored it with a Blender Pen using - Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive Ink. My card measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".
The image itself was stamped on a 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" Very Vanilla CS. Next I used Chocolate Chip CS and started creating a hole with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch. Then I trimmed around it so I would have a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Square!!! Next I pierced around the CC CS. Before I layered it all together and added the Pumpkin Pie CS - I used Stampin Dimensional to raise each panel up. At the end I added the Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon and the Gold Pearls (Michael's).

The sentiment is from the *Holidays & Wishes* Set and I also inked it in Timber Brown Stazon!!!

Have you seen my *Guessing Game* yet??? Since we are going out tonight.... I have to postpone the drawing of the Winner to tomorrow morning 10:oo am!!! Thanks for playing along - I have to giggle at all the answers - he,he,he!!!

SC203 Joy to the World

Hey everyone!!! I thought I'd never get to stamp today.....life is busy around here!!!

Luke had a Vet appointment this morning - he is 6 months now - and guess how much that boy weighs???

Okay - I thought I'll give out a prize for the person that comes up with the right weight!!! If there is more then one person that has the correct answer I'll put your name in a hat and let my little Miraim pick the winner!!!

The prize will be the Hostess Level I *Punches Three* Set and maybe another surprise!!! Only one guess per person!!! You have to have a US or Canadian mailing address!!! I'll give you until this coming Friday, November 21nd, 7:oo pm and I'll announce the winner shortly after!!! Can't wait to hear the answers!!!

Now about my card for the SC203 - what a fun Sketch it is!!! I used the gorgeous *Joy to the World* Set from *Our Daily Bread Designs*.

The colors are from yesterday's CC193 - Real Red, Kraft and Basic Black. The image was inked in Black Stazon. Then I colored it with the same colors as the CS and added Baja Breeze for the sky. I mainly used Copic Markers ( Lipstick Red, Putty and Basic Brown) plus for the light I used the Yoyo Yellow Marker from SU.

The Real Red CS was embossed with the Cuttlebug folder *Snowflakes*. I finished the card off with Silver Brads and Black Satin Ribbon.

Hope you like my card??? ~TFL~ Have fun playing!!!

BIC32 Wild About You, CC193 Serene Spring

Happy Tuesday again!!!

Here is a quick card I made for the CC193 - Real Red, Kraft and Basic Black - this morning.

I used *Serene Spring* and colored it with some Copic and Prisma Markers.

The CB folder is from the *Leafy Branch* and I added some Silver Brads...voila!!!

Now it's time for another fun *Be Inspired* Challenge by Beate!!!

This photo just screams for a *children's* card!!!

The first idea that came to mind was my all time favorite *Wild About You* Set!!!

I used Tangerine Tango, Bashful Blue and Whisper White CS for my card. I started out by scoring my Tangerine Tango CS. Then I punched out a scallop row of Bashful Blue and attached it on the right.

Next I inked the elephant in Bashful Blue. The flower was inked in Tangerine Tango and I used an Old Olive Marker for the stem. I layered this onto Bashful Blue CS and raised it with Stampin Dimensionals. I also added a bit of Dazzling Diamond Glitter in the center of the flower and some Silver Brads on the bottom of the TT panel. The sentiment was inked in Old Olive and I pierced right below it.

Hope you like my simple take on the Inspiration Piece??? Before you go please check out all the other ladies for their samples on the room - Beate Johns, Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.

Have a good one and play along!!! ~TFL~

OCCC, IC154 Silhouettes and Sparkles

Happy Saturday!!!

I was so excited when Denise asked me to be the Guest Stamper for this weeks OCC Challenge!!! Thank you Denise for inviting me!!!

Today she has made my dream come true by using *Silhouette* Stamps and by adding some *Sparkles*!!! How cool is that???

I always had a passion for *Silhouette* Stamps, but I think I really fell in love with them when I was a Guest Designer for *Innovative Stamp Creations*. (If you like you can click here and look at the cards I made).

Anyway - for this card I used a *Stampendous* Stamp called *Agapanthus Cluster* (P107).

The colors I chose are - Whisper White, Real Red and Old Olive CS. The whole image was inked with Real Red. Next I used a Q-tip and wiped off the RR from the stems which I then colored with an Old Olive Marker.

Then I used my brand new *Curved Rectangle* Nesties - I bought them at *Stamper's Dream* (Thanks Michelle for the super fast delivery!!!) I also used the CB folder *Tiny Bubbles* on the longer Real Red panel. I raised the image panel with Stampin Dimensionals and added some Silver Brads on the right hand side. At the end I bedazzled the Clusters with Dazzling Diamond Glitter.

I think I was a bit to excited, because I couldn't go to sleep last night.....I was waiting to see what Stef has cooked up for the IC154 and of course I was hooked immediately on those pretty scraves!!! I chose this one for my card. I must admit knowing today's OCC Challenge.....I just had to use a Silhouette Stamp.....This one is from *Penny Black* and it's called *Constellation* (3867K).

I used Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango CS and the DP is from SU *Haiku*.

The image was inked in Tangerine Tango and I also used an Old Olive Marker for the stems. The sentiment is from *All Holidays* and I inked it in Chocolate Chip.

Sorry the picture is a bit blurry - I think it is all the DD Glitter and since it's late I had to turn on all the available light....LOL!!! (click on the little photo to see a close up).

I used a lot of Stampin Dimensionals to layer the different panels. Next I finished it off with some Gold Brads (Making Memories) and the yummy-licious Satin CC Ribbon.

Hope you like it??? If you have time please play along I can't wait to see your favorite *Silhouette* Stamp!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend !!! ~TFL~vderful weekend!!! ~TFL~

Well, Jessica has sent me this fun new Set called *Tea for Two* and I've been wanting to use it, but couldn't think of anything cute and simple until I saw Beate's WSC#66 Sketch. So - this is how my card came together!!!

The image was inked in Basic Black and watercolored with Riding Hood Red Ink. I only used Whisper White and Riding Hood Red for my CS. To finish it all off I added the RR Ribbon and the pretty new *Flower Brads* from SU.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Now I'm off to see what Taylor VanBruggen cooked up for us...see ya later!!!

WT192 Lord is my Shepherd

WOW - I can't believe that my Guest Designer time is almost up with *Our Daily Bread Designs* - I have so much fun stampin' with Kelley's gorgeous Set's!!!

Usually I don't get to stamp on Thursday's. I always have so much to do plus my husband is teaching that night....so my girls want all my attention!!! Well not today - LOL!!! I squeezed in this card for the WT192 using *Watercolor Paper* - it's nothing super fancy - I tried to keep it simple.

The base of my card is Very Vanilla. I added a Soft Sky panel and embossed it with the *Argyle* CB folder. The Set I used is called *Lord is my Shepherd* and I inked it in Timber Brown Stazon. Then I colored it with Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky and Baja Breeze. The Watercolor Paper and the Chocolate Chip CS were both distressed and I pierced around the image. At the end I added the Copper Brads and raised the image with Stampin Dimensionals. The Bible Verse was also inked it TB Stazon.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

BIC31 Christmas Wishes and CC192 Psalm 23

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! I have two cards for you today!!! My first one is for the CC192 using Pacific Point, Certainly Celery, Basic Gray. Some cool colors!!!

I used the beautiful *Psalm 23* Set from *Our Daily Bread Designs*.

There is really not too much about this card other then I embossed the right hand Certainly Celery Panel with the *Just my Type* CB folder. Next I added some Silver Brads on the bottom and the Ribbon is from Michael's.

************************************
Next is my card for Beate's *Be Inspired*
Challenge #31
.
It is this cute little *birdie mobile*.

I actually planned on making a *baby*card, but then I was looking thru my stash of *birdie* stamps and it's sad to say that I don't have any at all......but then I realized I have one Set I have not used at all.....

Okay - so the Inspiration Piece took me into a whole different direction.....I opted for this gorgeous Set from *Little Paper Shop*!!!

Remember I missed the whole September Release due to Customs holding on to my Stamp Set's??? Well, today I finally have a chance to show off two of the gorgeous Set's Julia had featured back then.

The Set's are called *Christmas Wishes* and *Snowflakes*. For this card I used the oh so fab retired *Purely Pomegranate*and Whisper White. The DP is from the retired *Holiday Harmony*. I inked the *dove* with Versamark and then embossed it with Silver EP. Next I layered it onto Whisper White and then Purely Pomegranate. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals. I also added some Silver Brads to the panel. Before I layered the image to the base I inked the sentiment in Versamark and also embossed it. To finish it all off I added the Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon!!!

I hope you like my card??? ~TFL~

If you like - play along.....all the deeds are on Beate's blog and don't forget to check out all the other ladies - Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.

VSHR4 Frosty and VSHR5, IC153 Simply Delights

Happy Saturday you all!!!

Tomorrow is the *Release Party* from *Verve Visual* and I'm thrilled to say that I have completed all 5 Release Sketches to qualify for some awesome prizes - wahhhooo!!!

This card is actually a combo - the Sketch is the
Verve Holiday Release Sketch #4 and the inspiration came from the OCC ladies.

I know you probably think how did I end up with a snowman when the inspiration piece is a cupcake...LOL?!? Well let me tell ya - I wanted to make a cupcake card very badly, but unfortunately I'd be craving those all day long...and since I'm not very mobile with my sprained foot right now....I figured I'm better off making a *Holiday* card. Well, holidays and cupcakes go together - right???

I used good old *Frosty* - love that snoman!!!
The colors I used are - Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Whisper White.
I used a Blender Pen to color it and added some Dazzling Diamonds at the end. To finish it off I added the Taffeta Ribbon.

I made this card for today's IC153. My inspiration came from the colors. I chose these two colors - the Scoop Neck and the Cashmere Jumper. Most of the ladies cloth is very elegant and sophisticated so I thought I'll head that direction...

The card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". The Sketch is from the Verve Holiday Release #5.

I used is the retired *Simply Delights* Simple Sent Kit. The image was inked in Versamark and then embossed with the retired Brown EP. I added some Halfback Pearl from the *Prettiest Kit* in the center.

The DP is the new *Haiku* - I love the colors together!!! The sentiment was placed into a Copper Label Holder and adjusted with a Brown Satin Ribbon.

Hope you will find something fun in the Inspiration Challenge and play along??? ~TFL~

Happy TGIF!!!
Well I'm not sure if it gonna be a good one or not.....I twisted my foot yesterday and I thought I'd be okay, but as the day progressed it got worse...YIKES.
I couldn't walk by mid-afternoon and I'm off to see the Podiatrist this morning. I still can't walk and I have a feeling it's not good at all!!
I'll keep you posted.....
About my card - I made it for today's LSC193. The Sketch is from the Verve Holiday Release Sketch #2. I actually made this card for a SCS friend that just lost her son you can read all about it on this thread right here.
The gorgeous Set I used is from *There She Goes* and it's called *Here for You* .
Check out my next card........

This card is for the Verve Holiday Release Sketch #3.

I used the *Punch Pals* Set. The DP is *Ski Slope* and I added the new Red Riding Hood Taffeta Ribbon as well.
The trees are inked in Basic Black and I colored it with Baja Breeze and Red Riding Hood using a Blender Pen.

To finish it off I added Silver Brads and bedazzled it with Dazzling Diamond Glitter.
Hope you will stop by for the next two Sketches too??? Have a wonderful weekend!!! ~TFL~
Quick update on my foot - thank goodness it's not broken - waahhhooo!!! I sprained it and I'm in a *Walking Boot* for about 4-6 week - YIKES!!! Not sure how I'm gonna drive yet since it's my right foot....hmmmm??? I guess my butt just has to sit tight and make lots and lots of cards - LOL!!!

CC201, CC191 and Verve Holiday Release Sketch

Happy day everyone!!!

Isn't today's SC201 awesome??? I'm still in need of some *Christmas Cards* and I really like how this one turned out - I think we have a winner!!!

This card was very quickly pulled together....I use the Ski Slope DP and some Red Riding Hood and Whisper White CS.

I used two Set's for this card - the image is from the *A Wish for Peace* and the sentiment is from the *Home for Christmas*.

The image was colored with Old Olive and Chocolate Chip Markers. Next I bedazzled the image and myself with lots of Dazzling Diamond Glitter - LOL!!! I finished it off with the gorgeous Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon - I still wished SU would have brought it back for the holidays - bummer :(.....

I made this card last night using the Verve Holdiay Release Sketch - VSHR1.

Are you as excited as I am to see the new Set's Julee Tilman has planned to show us on Sunday for her November Release Party???

Well - the Verse Divas are awesome and I can't wait to see what they have created!!!

Anyway - for this card I used the gorgeous PTI *Gold CS* my super sweet friend Denise *peanutbee* has mailed me for my birthday!!! I love it - thanks Denise!!!

I added Basic Black CS to make the Gold pop - I think this combo is so elegant looking!!! I added some Medium Black Brads (Making Memories) and Black Satin Ribbon (Walmart).

The Set I used is this years Stampin Up's Ronald McDonald Set - *Say it with Scallops* (pg. 209). If you don't know what to give your girlfriend this year for Christmas - how about this Set??? Not only will your friend love it - it's also supporting a great cause. $2 for each sold Set goes to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!!!

As we all know our friend Laurie Schmidlin is using the RM House right now as her daughter Ali is undergoing some tests!!!! You can follow the thread right here. Please continue keeping Ali and the Schmidlin family in your prayers!!!

I made this card yesterday for the CC191 - Red Riding Hood, Kiwi Kiss and Pretty in Pink.
We were allowed to exchange colors to Ruby Red and Old Olive and I did use these on my card.

I used the retired *Essence of Love* Set and just randomly used my Markers to color it.
Next I bedazzled it with Dazzling Diamond Glitter and added the Striped Red Riding Hood Ribbon.
The sentiment was also inked in Old Olive and I pierced right below it....voila!!!
This card only took me like 15 minutes to make - perfect when you need a quick one!!!
Hope you'll have a wonderful day and I'll see ya soon!!! ~TFL~

BIC30 & WSC64 *For You*

Happy Tuesday again!!!! I still can't believe it's Tuesday again....

Today Beate is featuring this fun purse called *Bella Bag*(you can actually buy it right here) for the *BIC30*.
When I saw the purse I knew I wanted to use my poor neglected *Boho Backgrounds* Set!!!

I know that the purse color is more of a *Turquoise* - unfortunately I didn't have enough *Tempting Turquoise* CS to include in my project!!! That's why I had to replace it with *Bashful Blue....Hope you don't mind?!?

Well - here is my take on the purse.......
These are the colors I have chosen -
Kraft, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Old Olive and Whisper White.

For the base of the card and bag I used Textured Whisper White CS. The bottom scalloped stripe on the bag is from the Old Olive Prints
DP.

For my card I chose Beate's WSC64. I thought the Sketch was perfect to show off the *Boho Backgrounds* Medallion.

For the bag I followed the instructions from Diana Gibbs. If you have not made one of these cute little bags - you should definitely give it a try!!!!
The only thing that I did differently is I extended my bag to a 7" x 11" height. Diana has hers shown at 5 1/2" x 11". I guess you can adjust it to any height you need for your project.....
All the *Medallions* were inked in Versamark and then embossed with Basic Black EP. I stamped and embossed the *Medallions* double and then punched out the second ones with the 1 3/8"Circle Punch. Then I raised them with Stampin Dimensionals and placed a Silver Eyelet (Memory Keepers) and a Blue Rhinestone Brad in the center. Next I layered the whole image onto So Saffron and Old Olive CS. This panel was also raised with Stampin Dimensionals.
Hope you like my little creations and you will find some time to play along???Don't forget to check the rest of Beate's talented ladies Charmaine Ikach, Danielle Lounds, Dawn McVey, Jennifer Buck and Susan Roberts.
Have a great day ~TFL~

FS91 & OCCC & TECC40 Lord is my Shepherd

Happy Sunday and *Hi* again!!! I'm still not up to speed....my head cold is still here and thank goodness there are some awesome drugs out there...LOL!!!

I also took a nice long nap - that's why I'm still up and running - LOL!!! Okay - I have to admit I couldn't wait to see who is the Featured Stamper #91....I haven't been stamping in almost 4 days and I was hoping to get an early start!!!

Well - Beth has chosen one of the Design Team Members from *Our Daily Bread Designs* our very own super talented *Becca Feeken* - she is amazing indeed!!! Pure elegance and mind blowing creations.....so of course I had to play along!!!

Congratulations Becca - you so deserve this day in the spotlight!!!!

After picking my jaw back off the ground I finally decided to case this gorgeous card. I think this was one of the fastest cards I ever made....that's how excited I'm for Becca - LOL!!! Plus no stampin' in 4 days helped the speedy process- he,he,he!!!

Anyway - here are the quick changes I made:

***Different colors - I used Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Blue Bayou, Very Vanilla plus Watercolor CS.
***I used a different Sketch - Taylor's Cupcake Sketch #40
***I distressed the edges.
***I used a different Cuttlebug folder on my card this one is called *Mesh*.
***The image itself is also from *Our Daily Bread Designs* called *Lord is my Shepherd* - which was actually Released today!!!!

Just wanted to mention that the ladies from *Our Creative Corner* were challenging everyone to use their favorite coloring method and mine is *watercoloring* - so I'm submitting this as well to the OCCC.

Hope you have a chance to play??? Thanks for stopping by!!!

As promised here are some photo's of my girls.....

We had so much fun at Halloween this year.....
unfortunately my oldest Sarah (10) thinks she is *out-growing* this fun time...I can't imagine this time with out her...since she was the cutest little thing growing up!!! She always wanted to be a *princess* and we had to add lots of glitter and jewels...and now she is no longer interested...YIKES!!!

Thank goodness I have two more girls to celebrate Halloween with....Rebecca (7) and Miriam (almost 4) both were *Glamour Witches*. As you can tell they had no problem to posing for me - aren't they too stinkin' cute - LOL???

Sarah wanted to be a
*Volleyball* player - that's her favorite sport!!
********************
The kids in Miriam's class worked so hard on decorating their fun little Halloween table!!! Isn't it cute???

Here are some photo's of the girls at the *Fall Festival* at Miriam's Preschool.

This was our first time there and they offered so much - from hay ride, rock climbing, jumping castles to individual games....sooo fun!!!

We are already looking forward to next year!!!

Hope you enjoyed these pictures of the Ledlow Gang???
I'm hoping to play for the Featured Stamper Challenge tomorrow - can't wait to find out who the lucky person is???
Don't forget to check out my post below...some new announcements!!!

Until then.....Hugs ~Silke~
