INSPIRED BY - #IB172 HAPPY RETIREMENT

Happy Day!

This weeks Inspired By Challenge is music to my ears ....I'm READY for RETIREMENT :) !!! 

Here is the inspiration photo - #IB172 Happy Retirement.....

 

My inspiration came from the palm tree and green key chain pendants.

I dug out an old stamp set from Flourishes. It didn't come with a "retirement sentiment" so I had to improvise and just went with a "Congrats You Did it" sentiment. I also added some scored lines on top of my card base and added the Ribbon,  a Button and some Silver Pearls...voila!

I "woof" this weeks Inspired By Challenge sooooooooo much..... 

Check out how stinkin' cute this weeks inspiration photo is - #IB171 - I Woof Celebration....

My inspiration came from the "celebration" theme, the puppies, and the colors in the background.

To be honest I had no idea which route to go with this inspiration...I usually shy away from the more "whimsical" designs, but after digging through my stamp stash I found this cute PTI - Paws & Kisses Set with the matching Die and it saved the day! The star background was created with the PTI - Birthday Balloon Set. The birthday hats are from an old retired GKD set. The sentiment is from Concord & 9th - Let's Party Turnabout Set. At last I added the "bow ties".

INSPIRED BY #IB170 - WRAP ME UP IN SPRING

Happy Day! 

We had some gorgeous weather here in Texas and I'm loving it! After this crazy cold weather we had in February we lost a lot of our Azalea's and a couple of our bushes. Thank goodness our roses have survived...and they are about to bloom..I'm so excited. 

Which leads me to this weeks Inspired By Challenge...it just screams Spring....

My inspiration came from the flowers and colors.

I just love these beautiful colors...especially the purple :) !!! 

I was a little time crunched this week and decided to go with a quick card. I pulled out the beautiful PTI - Bloom & Grow MIM Mini Kit. Before assembling the card I added the scored lines on top of my card base and the PTI -Amethyst Allure DP on the bottom. At last I added some Silver Pearls.

COLOR THROWDOWN #637 AND TTTC108 - HELLO FRIEND

Hello and happy TGIF!

I crafted a card for this weeks Color Throwdown #637 and the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #108 ....

Here is the CTD #637 color combo and the TTTC108 board (Florals, Free & Any Shape Die)

I finally had the chance to ink up the fabulous Painted Petals Turnabout Kit from Concord & 9th. For my card I used the colors - Classic Kraft, Wild Wasbi, Bright Buttercup and Pretty In Pink.

Here is this weeks inspiration photo #IB169 - Spring is Sweet....

                              

My inspiration came from from the circles, flowers, colors and the wooden background.

I started with the Shiplap Builder Die to create the "wooden" background! Next, I added the circle dies and placed some of the BotaniCuts Wildflower Mix on top. At last I added the sentiment...voila!

I've been working on this card....

using the beautiful Empty Grave Set and Die Combo, along with the Lovely Blossoms Set and Die Combo from The Greetery. I once again used the Crimped Slimline Die for my card base. At last I added some Silver Pearls...voila!

INSPIRED BY #IB168 - I CARROT ABOUT SPRING

We are back with another fun Inspired By Challenge...

Here is this weeks inspiration photo and sketch for the #IB168 - I Carrot About Spring....

My inspiration came from the flower bouquet, the overall colors and

 the sketch.

I decided to pull out my Budding Beauties Spring and Sprinkled with Kindness Sets along with the matching dies from The Greetery. 

First I created the yellow watercolored background and added some black splashes. Next I inked up the water can and the flowers. At last I added the small tag and the bow...voila!
