Hello and happy day!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and families? Ours was yummy and yes, I did fall into a food coma afterwards...LOL! When I awoke I decided to craft a little bit....and created this card for this weeks Color Throwdown #571....

I love these fun bright non-traditional colors....

and decided to ink up my fun Peaceful Forest Set from Ink to Paper.

COLOR THROWDOWN #569 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Howdy friends!

I'm finally back with a card...yeah! I thought I'd never be able to play this color combo....

My poor Miriam got hit with Strep and the Type B Flu ....we caught it early, but it was still pretty bad. Since it was highly contagious we all were scared and prayed that we don't get it too. Needless to say...I disinfected EVERYTHING over and over again...so far so good! I know she is excited to going back to school on Monday....and so am I... ;) !!!

As soon as I saw the Color Throwdown #569 combo, my fingers were itching to ink up my With Love at Christmas Set from "The Greetery"....

I decided to ink up my new Candy Cane Christmas Bundle Set from "The Stamp Market". The colors are SU - Lost Lagoon, PTI - Pure Poppy, New Leaf, Scarlet Jewel, Lilac Grace.

For my card I used SU Peach Parfait and Basic Gray, plus PTI - Vintage Cream. The leaves are from "The Stamp Market" - Lots of Leaves Bundle Set. The sentiment is from the PTI - Give Thanks Set.

THE GREETERY - WITH LOVE AT CHRISTMAS

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend? I was able to craft...yeah!

I took some elements from the With Love at Christmas Set and the Speed Tagging Sentiment Set from "The Greetery" to create the wreath...it works so perfectly together. I matched it with a matching Flappable Stenciled envelope!

how perfect for the "Happy Holiday" sentiment?!? I also used the beautiful matching Flappable Stencil on my envelope which is also available at "The Greetery".

Made this card for this weeks Color Throwdown #564....

Here are the colors....

I decided to use the beautiful Autumn Sketch Set from "The Greetery".

My colors didn't come out as vivid as I imagined, but I definitely love the watercolor look of it! The colors I used for my card are from SU - Closed to Cocoa, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight along with my Kuretake ZIG Brushes. At last I added some matching splashed dots around, added the sentiment and the different Sequins.

Freshly Made Sketches #404 - LAURIE'S FABULOUS FAVORITES

I crafted this card for Laurie's Fabulous Favorites Challenge - Kraft CS....

My layout was inspired by this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #404....

If you've followed me over the years, you know I do share Laurie's passion for Kraft CS.....one of my favorite card stocks too!

For this card I also used one of my all time fav's PTI - Twig Wreath along with the matching dies, and the PTI - Give Thanks Set. Click here if you would like to see all the cards I have crafted with this awesome wreath set.

I decided to use the PTI - To the Point Edgers Die to spruce up my card, as well as adding some scored lines. At last I finished it off with some Silver Halfback Pearls and a Gingham Ribbon on top.

THE CARD CONCEPT #120 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY

As promised here is a new card....this one is for The Card Concept #120....

Here is the Inspiration Photo....

My inspiration came from the beautiful blue patterns and the flowers. I usually don't use a lot of blues in my card...so this was a great opportunity to incorporate this blue/yellow color combo.

The blue DP on the bottom of my card is from an old SU Pattern Paper Collection. The roses are from the beautiful PTI - Farmer's Market Florals Set along with the matching dies. The sentiment is from the PTI - Penned Elegance Set.

Here is my card for this weeks Color Throwdown #562 ....

Here are this weeks colors....

I used the beautiful PTI - Gran's Garden Set along with the matching dies. The sentiment is from the PTI - Penned Elegance Set. My background was embossed with a PTI - Impression Plate (no longer avail.).  The colors I used are PTI - Weathervane, Aqua Mist and True Black, plus SU - Basic Gray and Brilliant Blue. At last I added the Clear Sequins.

CASE THIS SKETCH #340 - LAURIE'S FABULOUS FAVORITES

I'm so exited to play with my new "Ink to Paper" goodies....and of course what better way to ink them up by playing Laurie's Fabulous Favorites  - September CASE... combined with this weeks Case this Sketch #340....

Here is the fabulous card from Melissa Phillips....and the Sketch....

If you missed the beautiful "Ink to Paper" September Release....I urge you to check it out! I used the Season Of Joy Set along with the sentiment from the Peaceful Forest Set.

For my "CASE" I added some "sparkly" letters, some color splash for the background and the original wreath from the stamp set as well as a different poinsettia die cut.

We had a crazy start into our week....our washing machine was leaking ...not fun! Thank goodness for Home Warranty :) !!!

Since it's raining here today...I decided to play in the Color Throwdown #561.....

I finally had a chance to ink up my beautiful Ready to Bloom Set along with the matching dies from "The Stamp Market".  My color choice for this card are - SU Pistachio Pudding, SU Lost Lagoon and PTI Amethyst Allure.

THE CARD CONCEPT #119 - BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES

Hello and happy TGIF!

Hope you get to enjoy your weekend with your family and friends?!? We are not doing anything special...just hanging out and watch some College Football...yeah!

I decided to play along in the The Card Concept #119 .....

 Here is the Inspiration Photo - Beautiful Butterflies....

My inspiration came from the colors of the butterflies...I tried to incorporate some of them on my card.

I kept my card super simple...I used the cute Pain Splat Set from The Stamp Market for my background and added the punched out butterflies. The "thankful" sentiment/die is from the same company and it's called Lots of Leaves. At last I added some mini Silver Pearls to the center of the butterflies...voila!

Here is my card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches #402 and the Color Throwdown #560 ...

 Here is the fun Sketch ....and the Inspiration Colors....

For this card I used the beautiful 2016 Anniversary Set called Painted Petals...from Papertrey Ink....one of my all time favorites for sure.

Here are the ink colors I ... PTI - Pure Poppy, Bright Butter Cup, Harvest Gold, New Leaf; SU - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake and Versamark, along with White Embossing Powder. To finish it all off I added some Red & Clear Sequins.
