FS77 Getting down and Dirty

Hey everyone - I had a late start today....!!!
We went to church, some friends stopped by and finally I had some peace and quiet to create and post my card for the Featured Stamper #77.

Beth has chosen my blogging friend Julia aka *artystamper* - CONGRATS Julia!!!

She is a awesome artist and I enjoy her cards so much!!!
Here is a Journal that inspired me out of Julia's gallery and made it into a card.

The other *Inspiration* came from Laura's Dirty Girl Challenge - *to get down and dirty*....boy it was a tough Challenge for me but I thought I'll try it anyway....since Laura has challenged me *personally* to get my *White* card dirty - LOL!!!

Here is what I have done:
- I have made the Journal into a card and it measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
- I have used more layers and different colors - River Rock, Basic Black & Brocade BG DP.
- The Stamp Set is from *Innovative Stamp Creation* called *Artsy Victorian.
- I have added Pearls and a Hat Pin for Embellishment.
- I added a Black Satin Ribbon.
- I have distressed most of the edges and added some piercing to the card.
Hope you like it???? Enjoy the rest of your weekend and ~TFL~!!!

Dirty Girl Challenge - Day 6

Happy Day - and what a good one it is !!!

I won last weeks OCC Challenge - WAAHHHOOO!!!
You need to come and check all these talented ladies out right here.
Don't you just love them???

With this weeks *Christmas in July* theme I can actually check off two Challenges in one - YEAHHH!!!

Sharon Johnson is also hosting the same idea for her ssnotime #45.....you can see the info right here.

When I was digging for my x-mas Stamps I came across this cute little Stamp from *Hero Arts*. This Stamp is from my *first* stamping experience - I think I bought it like 3 yrs ago at *Archiver's*....but I'm still loving it!!!

The card measures 4 1/2 " x 4 1/2". I have stamped the *Snowman* with Basic Black and colored it with Real Red, Green Galore, Garden Green. For the *hat* I have used a Dark Brown Copic Marker #E47 and a Colorless Blender to soften the image. The outlining was also done with a CM #N1.

Next I have layered the fun *Snowman* onto Real Red CS and pierced around it. This image was raised with Stampin Dimensionals onto the next two layers. Before I added the whole panel I have added the 5/8" Real Red Ribbon from SU. Then I have stamped the sentiment from the *Snowfall* Set. At last I have added two *medium* Silver Brads from Making Memories.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

This card was made for Holly's and Taylor's *Dirty Girl* Challenge over on SCS.

The layout came from Holly and the *Cupcake* idea from Taylor......love both of them - awesome stampers!!!

I have used my favorite new *In Color* Tangerine Tango and a matching DP from *Bo-Bonny* Shabby Princess Collection. Doesn't it look great together??? It matches the *Kiwi Kiss* too.....

The Cupcake Stamp is from Hero Arts and I have colored the bottom part with Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss. The top part was filled with the 3-D *Liquid Applique* from Marvy Uchida. I love this stuff for *Cupcakes*!!!

Before I've started to dry it with the *Heating Tool* I have bedazzled the 3-D Applique with Dazzling Diamond Glitter. Then I have punched out a flower and added a Silver Brad in the center - it was attached with a Glue Dot.

The Ribbon is from Martha Stewart and I have added three *medium* Silver Brads on the right hand side.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

Dirty Girl Challenge

Hello again - hope you are having a great start into the weekend???

OMG - did you see Joan's Dirty Girl Challenge??? It's all about *Silhouettes* - WAAHHHOOO!!!

I had to use the *Nature Silhouette I* Set from *Innovative Stamp Creations* again - I hope you like it as much as I do...???

I have used Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi on this card. Love that combo!!! The scalloped BG was cut out with the largest Nestie. The whole image was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

I have also added three little Silver Mini Brads to the image and finished it off with the DS Wild Wasabi Ribbon from SU.

The *Just for you* sentiment is also a *Innovative Stamp Creations* Stamp and it's from the *Flair of Summer* Set.

Off to make another card.....stop by again if you like!!! ~TFL~

LSC178 Happy Birthday

Happy TGIF!!!

What a fun LS Challenge - so many restrictions!!!
You can read all the details right here.

Mr. Brown delivered some of my goodies from
SU last night and I had to ink my beautiful new *Floral* BG Stamp. I've been neglecting my SU Stamps.....bad, bad me - LOL!!!

Anyway - I have inked this Set up with Purely Pomegranate and trimmed the CS down to the size that I liked....and layered it onto Purely Pomegranate CS.

After I adhered the image to my Whisper White base I have added the g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s Purely Pomegranate Satin Ribbon!!!

Next I have added the sentiment from the retired
*Warmest Regards* Set - it was also inked with PP.
The little *dots* are from a *Sandylion* Set called *Borders*.

This card makes a quick and elegant *Birthday* card!!! Hope you will have time to play today and I can't wait to see what the Dirty Girl's have in store for us at noon!!! See ya then.....

Stamp Simple MOJO47/ Dirty Girl Challenge

Isn't this a fun week with the Dirty Girls??? Today is Sharon's and Holly's turn - YEEAAHH - I love them both and they are such an inspiration to me!!!
For right now - I have only time to play Sharon's *Stamp Simply* Challenge!!! Hopefully - I'll be back later to show off a card for Holly's Sketch?!?

For this card I have used Julee Tilman's MOJO#47 Sketch!!!

Don't you just love this gorgeous DP??? It matches the *new* In-Color *Baja Breeze* to the *T*!!!
It is from *Little Yellow Bicycle's* Vita Bella Collection and I have found it at the LSS in Savannah, GA. The matching Brads are from *Basic Grey*. I think the *Kiwi Kiss* color would look great with this too....maybe I'll try that on Holly's card - LOL????
You all know already the gorgeous *Serenity* Stamp Set from Verse Visual....I have inked the BG image with *Baja Breeze* first onto a scrap paper and then onto the CS. Next I have
stamped the sentiment in the same color and placed it in the center.
Hope you like it and ~TFL~!!!

Dirty Girl Challenge

Let me tell you - the Dirty Girls are getting my creative juices flowing - LOL!!! When I saw Jenn's *Inspiration Piece* today - I couldn't hold back and I had to make another card!!!

I have the perfect Stamp from *Innovative Stamp Creations* called *Artsy Victorian* to play along. Btw - it's the same Stamp Set that I have used on my CC176 card - just a different image!!! Isn't it gorgeous???

First I have inked the image with *Craft* Basic Black and then sprinkled it with *Clear* Embossing Powder to give it a richer, elegant look!!!

If you have not used the Craft Ink's yet - definitely put them on your next order- my favorites are the
Chocolate Chip and the Basic Black!!! You will love them - I promise!!!

Anyway - I have trimmed right around the image and layered it onto Basic Black CS. This panel was raised with Stampin Dimensionals. Next I have added Certainly Celery onto another Basic Black CS and adhered it to the Whisper White CS base. The card measures 5" x 5".

The sentiment is from another *Innovative Stamp Creations* Set called *Flair of Summer*.
I have inked it up with Basic Black. To finish it all off - I have added a large Half Pearl in the center of the image.

Wow - I just realize I have not used any Ribbon....LOL!!! Hope you like this card as much as I do??? ~TFL~

Happy Wednesday!!! I love when those Sketch Challenged some around....and Roxi has picked a great one for today.

This Sketch also gave me the *Inspiration* to play along with the Dirty Girls Tuesday Challenge -
which can be seen here.
I have chosen Julie's DTGD08 - *embrace* White and you know that's right up my alley - YEEAAHH!!!

I have used Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi together - don't they look awesome???

The gorgeous Ribbon is from Martha Stewart and it's called *Persimmon* - it matches the Tangerine Tango perfectly!!! Hope SU is coming out with some matching *In-Color* Ribbon??? I can't wait for the new Catalog to come out!!! Until then I guess Martha has to do it - LOL!!!

Here is another card that I have made for the *embrace* White Challenge!!!

This gorgeous image is from *Innovative Stamp Creations* and it's called *Friendship*.

I have kept it very simple......I've started stamping the *beautiful* face first and next I have added the flowers on the side.

I've stamped one flower image separately on another White CS and cut it out. Then I've colored it with a Blender Pen using Tangerine Tango Ink - raise it with Stampin Dimensionals and added a clear Gemstone in the center.

The Ribbon is the same one I have added to my first card and it adds the perfect balance to this card!!!

Hope you like the cards??? ~TFL~

Simply Beautiful......

Hey everyone - as promised I'm showing you a card with the *New* SU In-Colors!!!

You can already tell which ones are my favorites - LOL!!! That's right...I love the Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss!!!

I was looking thru the gorgeous Set's that Betsy Griffin from *Innovative Stamp Creations* has sent me and this beautiful *Asian* themed Stamp from the *Beautiful Butterflies* has caught my eye and I thought it would look great with these two new colors.

The main image was stamped with Black Stazon first. Then I have used a Blender Pen to color the image with the same colors and I've added the Riding Hood Red to the butterflies as well.

The butterflies were stamped twice. The colored ones were trimmed and raised with Stampin Dimensionals. Next I have added some Dazzling Diamond Glitter to the center of the flowers.
The sentiment is from the same Set and I have inked it with Black Stazon.

Have a wonderful weekend!!! See ya soon....

Please allow me to introduce.....

Our sweet little *Luke* - the newest addition to our family!!!

He is a 7 week old Boxer puppy and let me tell you - all the Ledlow-Girls are in love with him - LOL!!!

Some of you probably remember that we had lost our almost 14 year old Boxer *Rico* in April and I still miss him so much!!! But I guess my family was ready to move on and I'm such a *SUCKER* when it comes to puppies - LOL!!!

This little guy reminds me so much of *Rico* - same colors and he is also *stinkin'* cute!!!

We were able to have *Luke* yesterday evening. He is the biggest (11 pounds) out of the litter and he was completely weaned of his momma. Thank goodness his parents are our neighbors... so if we'd had a problem we could have called...

Little *Luke* is very good in letting us know when he has to go outside. We played so much that he slept very good last night...we'll see how things go tonight???

I have to admit it feels great to have a a friend around again!!!

Let me know what you think of little *Luke*???

Thanks for stopping by and for letting me share the excitement with you!!!

CC175 Tender Thoughts

Emily has picked some wonderful soft colors for the Color Combo Challenge #175.
Almost Amethyst, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi - simply beautiful!!!

Since I'm soooo behind on Challenges I thought I would combine this card with the Great Swaps Girls Sketch Challenge #11. You can see it right here.

The card measures 5" x 5" and I have started out with a Whisper White CS. Then I have used a different Stamp from the gorgeous *Innovative Stamp Creations Nature Silhouette I* Set and inked it up with Almost Amethyst, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi Ink Spot's. Next I have slightly *misted* the covered Ink Stamp with water and out came this gorgeous *Watercolored* look.

The image was layered onto a Almost Amethyst and So Saffron CS. Then I have raised it all up with Stampin Dimensionals before I've added it to the Whisper White CS.

To finish the card off I have added the gorgeous looking *Styled Silver* Label Holder and the DS
Wild Wasabi Ribbon from SU. The sentiment is from the same Set and I have inked it in Basic Black.

Hope you like it and don't forget to check out my card below that I have made for the LSP Sewing Challenge!!! ~TFL~

LSP Sewing Challenge

Good Morning!!!

Bonnie from the LPS DT has challenged us Team Members to make a card using some kind of sewing on our cards.....

Oh my - I have not used my sewing machine in I don't know how long - LOL!!! But I definitely wanted to give it a try. As you can tell I did not go overboard - LOL!!!

I have used this fun layout that I have seen over on Lynda Benden's Blog the *Stamp Act*.

Of course we had to use a *Little Paper Shop* Stamp Set to complete our cards and I have chosen this wonderful *In Loving Memories* Set. It's always hard to express your thoughts and feelings when someone you know has lost a loved one, and this wonderful Set says it all.

My card started off with a Whisper White card base and then I have added a panel of Groovy Guava, a longer panel of the Afternoon Tea DP. The sentiment was stamped with Chocolate Chip Ink and I have sewed around it with a dark brown thread.

Next I have punched out a couple of flowers with some SU Punches - Boho Blossoms, 5-Petal Flower. I have distressed them on the corners and raised them with Stampin Dimensionals. At last I have added some Silver Brads according to the Sketch.

Hope you like it and *thank you* Bonnie for this fun Challenge!!! Please make sure you check out all the ladies from the LSP DT and see what they have come up with!!! You can find them all on the right hand side of my blog.

I almost forgot to mention that you can play along!!! If you do play - please list you card on SCS under LPSDTC02, as well as *littlepapershop* no spaces!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Have fun and ~TFL~!!!

IC135 For You

Hey you all!!!
Finally I had time to stamp this afternoon....
I would have been done much earlier if I would have known what the *heck* I was doing... - LOL!!!
I had several ideas when I saw the IC #135, but then nothing really worked - does that sound familiar???
After the tenth try I took a break and cleaned up my desk...needless to say that didn't help either - LOL!!!
But at least I had cleared my mind and started with a new idea and this card is the final out come - WAAHHHOOO I have made a card!!!
The Inspiration came from this picture. I have used the wonderful new *Butterflies & Blossoms* Set from *Little Paper Shop*. Btw it's back on the shelf's - I heard it sold like hot potatoes....so go back to the site and buy yourself this fun Set!!!
I have started out with a 5" x %" Whisper White card base. Next I have layered it with a panel of Bali Breeze DP from SU . I have pierced two rows on the left hand side to give it more interest.
The main image was stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink. The butterfly was inked in Basic Black and also colored with Pumpkin Pie Ink. Everything was raised with Stampin Dimensionals before I have placed it on the card.
Next I have stamped the sentiment from the same Set with Basic Black and also pierced right below it. Then I have added some Black Brads from SU on the top and bottom. Voila!!!
Hope you like the idea??? ~TFL~

LSC175 Happy July 4th!!!

Happy Day!!!

I hope you all are gonna have some fun plan's for today???

We'll have a cookout and I'm gonna be off to get started as soon as I'm done here.
So much to do - LOL!!!

Anyway - I had to participate in today's LSC Chalenge #175. You can find all the info right here.

When I posted my card over on SCS I realized that my piercing around the Brilliant Blue CS didn't show off so well - that's why I took the smaller picture of the main image....the piercing is adding so much more to the card!!!

This wonderful SU Stamp Set has been around for a while it's a called *God Bless America* and I love it every year over and over again - LOL!!! I have kept this card very simple and just layered it with Real Red and Brilliant Blue plus the piercing around the BB CS. Hope you like it???

Have a wonderful July 4th and stay safe!!! If you like I have one more *patriotic* card posted right below....so go and take a peak!!! ~TFL~

VSCSTAR - Happy Independence Day

Happy Day!!!

Julee Tilman the owner of *Verse Visual* is a new Forum Member over on SCS - WAHOOOO -I'm so excited to see her Company there and I'm so thrilled that she is hosting this wonderful *Star* Challenge. You can see all the details right here.

In honor of Independence Day tomorrow I thought I'd make a *patriotic* card and participate in Julee's Challenge.

I really liked the Sketch Challenge #183 from yesterday and I have used it again for this card.
I've started out with Whisper White as my base. Next I have added the smaller Brilliant Blue CS and then layered it with Real Red.

I have dug out this old CTMH Set called *Let Freedom Ring* and started stamping the *Independence* sentiment on the right hand side of the Real Red CS with the same color Ink plus I've pierced right below it.

Next I have stamped the main image in Real Red then layered it with Brilliant Blue, Real Read and Whisper White. The WW CS was pierced all around. This whole section was raised with Stampin Dimensionals.

The *Star's* were punched out with the SU Star Punches. The smaller Star's were also raised with Stamping Dimensionals after I've added these fun *Star Brad's*.

Hope you like it??? ~TFL~

HAVE A WONDERFUL AND SAFE INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

CC173 Annie LaPoint - Lavender

Happy Day!!! Can you believe today is July, 1st???

Four more weeks and my girls will go back to school - YAAAHHOOOO!!!
Just kidding - I enjoy having them home.....

Today's Color Challenge #173 is Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and Certainly Celery - it's so beautiful!!! Don't you think so???

My dear friend Denise aka *peanutebee* was so nice to mail me a couple of these beautiful new Annie LaPoint stamped Samples. Thank you Denise - I love them!!!

When I saw today's challenge I knew I could work with this image right away. I have colored it with flower part, flower pot with Purely Pomegranate, the stems with Wild Wasabi and the *dotted* area with Certainly Celery I have also used the Crystal Effect on the *dotted* area - it looks awesome!!!

I have started out with Whisper White as by base. Then I have layered it with Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White CS again. Next I have place the image on a Purely Pomegranate Nestie and raised it with Stampin Dimensionals. Before I have added the image I've tied the gorgeous PP Satin Ribbon to it. To finish is it all off I have added the Pewter Jumbo Eyelets with Rhinestones to it. Voila!!!

Hope you like it and ~TFL~!!!
